915.10.2023No One9.0It was an outstanding match, that moreso told the story about Hokuto Omori's fight for survival until his eventual demise at the hands of Kento Miyahara. This was meant to elevate Hokuto Omori to another level, where he comes out winning in defeat. In that regard, I would say mission accomplished.

2007.08.2023Luna1008.0Just about an eight. I though the dynamic between Kento Miyahara and Minoru Suzuki. I was not too excited going in, as the Triple Crown defence between Hokuto and Yuma was kinda week, they just about dragged it to an seven, but just barely. They looked a lot better in this match, so it was a definite improvement, Hokuto was more energetic in this match than his previous one, he neefs to improve soon if he wants to be a top guy in AJPW as the main event sceen has been growing, and their are a lot of young guys who could equal and surpass him
2103.08.2023boymeetsworld7.0I guess this match was about giving the reason for a bizarre Suzuki/Doi/Omori 'faction' that was formed at the beginning of the year to exist, but if you take Omori's one big near-fall and one big kick-out, he was so far behind the other three in terms of performance that at times it felt like he just didn't belong. Suzuki/Miyahara interactions were absolutely tremendous, Aoyagi/Suzuki though made me interested in a Triple Crown match between them. Finishing stretch was good, but they always are in big AJPW Tag Team matches.
2229.07.2023FailGracefully8.0There is something oddly enjoyable about these smaller AJPW shows with no commentary - the crowds have been hot, and the sounds of the arena feel enhanced, whether by design or just a byproduct of the lack of dialogue. This was kind of a house-style All Japan main event tag, in the sense that there was some early crowd brawling, a couple heat segments, and then elevated into a King's Road style bomb-exchanged before a clean finish. What was notable here is that this was sort of a throwback Suzuki, where Kento really sold like he was a dangerous enigma rather than the wackier Murder Grandpa we've gotten over the last few years. The strategy seemed to be Kento and Yuma teaming up to neutralize Minoru - and once they did so, focus on Omori. At that point, it kind of became an Omori showcase, as he got some big near falls on Kento and also himself kicked out of some big offense. He survived a more standard bridging German from Kento before falling to the Shutdown Suplex, as do all.
2329.07.2023EthanFTW8.0This was a fun main event. Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi are a fun team to watch and I have enjoyed their reign as tag team champions so far. Minoru Suzuki and Hokuto Omori worked well as a team and they both put in a good performance here. Overall, this was an enjoyable main event.
2425.07.2023Woodstove8.0This was a match helped by a very hot crowd that was really into this match, but I found it a bit formulaic as it relied on the main event AJPW tag formula of lots of brawling on the outside leading to a long finishing stretch with both partners in the ring (which the ref allows for whatever reason) hitting their big tag moves and sequences. Still though it was definitely a very good match. Kento was able to make old man Suzuki seem like a threat even in 2023.
