This match had great in-ring action and is definitely one the underrated matches of this card. Goto is so underutilized and he is an excellent tag team wrestler, especially with YOSHI-HASHI."

Lots of good character work for Bishamon and FTR basically lost because they failed to hit the Big Rig. I enjoyed all of it and felt content with the result because of the equal performances by both duos. FTR were having an iconic run with the IWGP titles as well as the golds of ROH & AAA. Now, it's time to hand those over to well-deserved winners, refocus on what's next in their home turf and claim their rightful throne. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "A decent performance with some strong hitting moments that was quite enjoyable, but I was very surprised with how this one ended. The ending felt incredibly far-fetched, especially with the unbelievable title defenses that FTR already has under their belts so far."

[7.0] "Good match. But the ending was not good. They Didn't care about psychology there. Bishamon just got their comeback and won instantly. The match very good as a 10 minutes match but the last part was really pood. (***1/2)"
[8.0] "FTR can do no wrong, I really wish we could see them do no wrong in Japan more often. Bishamon don't "click" with me as a team like they do for some but both guys are quite good and built off the excellent match structure FTR was laying down. A hard-hitting 10-minute tag with all the perfectly-paced sequences FTR is known for, which got the first post-pandemic vocal WK crowd going pretty crazy for what was an undercard match. The second half of this match was nonstop banger moments, particularly stuff like Goto's refusal to be lifted by Dax, the insane suplex to the floor, and the protection of the Big Rig. There wasn't really a story here of any kind besides Goto & YOSHI wanting their belts back but man did they work like hell. The first of many more great matches from FTR this year I'm sure after an exceptional 2022. ****"
[7.0] "Solid match, both teams had good chemistry and crowd really got into it by the end, hope FTR have some more matches in Japan. Always great to see Goto getting a spot on the shows and its nice to see the glow up for Yoshi Hashi."
[6.0] "This was ok, but you could tell FTR were banged up/jetlagged. Thankfully it moves pretty quick and the psychology is sound. Decent, but kinda underwhelming given the show this is on."
[6.0] "This was kind of mid in all honesty. Bishimon got a deserved win after winning the league. This match could have been a lot more but FTR kinda play it safe and dont do FTR moves really until the last 2-3 minutes of the match. It was paced well and that last stretch was pretty good. [8.0] "They had 10 minutes and they've put on quite a complete contest. Good pace, good combinations and good wrestling. A bit difficult to put on some storytelling in this amount of time, but that was the case of the best tag win. The suplex's spot on the concrete was sick. The result was a bit predictable, but they've managed to keep on the tension."

[6.0] "I really don't understand why everyone likes FTR, in what seams like a decade, I don't think I have ever enjoyed one of their matches more than satisfactory. I guess its just not my style. I was, however, impressed with Goto and YOSHI-HASHI winning, I guess mostly because it got the belts off of FTR. Combined with losing the AAA titles last month, its going to be a good year for tag-team wrestling."
[7.0] "Surprised by the finish and not anywhere near the Royal Quest match, but the FTR boys put on another great match and Bishamon continued to show why they're worthy to be in the title frame. Not a blow away match but still very good. ***3/4"

They had good tag team spots, single spots throughout this, and a bunch of really good near falls.FTR getting a crowd that initially wasn't into them when they came out is a testament to how good they are.***3/4"

[8.0] "The match was so action-packed, that I honestly couldn't tell that it was just 10 minutes, Bishamon and FTR have an amazing chemistry, telling a good story in the ring and, in case of FTR, going all out with big moves. FTR came in with almost no reaction from the crowd and were cheered after just 10 minutes. Wonderful teams. Happy that Bishamon are once again the champions."

If they are to leave AEW, then they must lose all the belts that represent companies that are affiliated/partnered with AEW. Also, Bishamon is NOT Japan's best tag team. That is either Strong BJ or The Astronauts."

Not sure why FTR are telegraphing their losses (the dates on their ROH trunks and kissing their belts goodbye for two minutes here), even though we all knew that this would be the outcome. Anyway, I thought FTR looked really good, and I've always liked Goto, just wish it was longer."
[8.0] "Not a lot of suspense because of FTR's current story arc, but the crowd grew to get into this match. Felt like one of those matches where you call in some foreign wrestlers for the express purpose of making the local guys look like a million bucks."
[8.0] "Honestly surprised me. Only time I had watched Bishamon before was at forbidden door and I didn? t exactly fall in love with them. However, their style of wrestling meshes extremely well with FTRs and it created a great match with an unexpected outcome."
[8.0] "This was when the show got really good for me. A packed 10 minutes, full of great sequences, surprising near falls and teases. Sort of a bitesize version of a typical FTR showing, elevated by an A game Bishamon who gave this such an interesting dynamic."
[8.0] "What a damn match! WHAT A DAMN MATCH! The first great bout of Wrestle Kingdom 17 comes as no surprise given that these are two of the absolute best tag teams in the world today. FTR are master storytellers with the uncanny ability to build suspense through the little things that drive wrestling to its highest points. Bishamon proved once more why their PWI snub was criminal, as they may very well be the best tag team in Japan. This was built brilliantly, with every near fall feeling truly convincing, and every momentum swing being genuinely shocking. Tag team wrestling is a beautiful art form and this was a shining example of that. 10 minutes and 10 seconds felt like 20-plus, and that is quite a testament to all four of these competitors. 4 stars, 8 out of 10. I hope we see a rematch with 20-plus actual minutes to work with."
[8.0] "I really liked how the fight was handled, because it was done very well to justify FTR's defeat and crown Bishamon. Things as they are, it's a shame for FTR to lose the titles, but it's about time they were more focused on something more concrete. As always, giving amazing fights."
[8.0] "Another damn solid tag team match on this card between FTR and Bishamon this time, with Goto & YOSHI-HASHI managing to win the titles as opposed to the Junior Tag League winners and furthering the recent downfall of FTR who lost absolutely all of their titles, it's the story that's been written around them over the past month and so it was only logical that Bishamon would walk away from the Tokyo Dome with the belts today. As for the opener, I could say that the length of the match is the only flaw of the whole thing, but here it's even more regrettable because with FTR you expect a big match of more than ten minutes, which was unfortunately not the case here, but I still loved the action that was offered. Fast-paced with tremendous execution, suspense, nearfalls, big moves, they didn't have a lot of time but they make the most of that time."
[9.0] "One of the best tag team match as of late, at least for my tastes. Great stuff and right booking in my opinion. Every spots were incredible and believable."
[7.0] "FTR do their thing in the Tokyo Dome, baby. It goddamn rules & Bishamon were rock solid dance partners for them with Goto in particular (unsurprisingly) mashing really well with Big Match Cash & Big Match Dax."
[9.0] "A simple, to the point match that let FTR do their thing and Bishamon collect the gold. Cash puts in some nice chained holds in the opening minute before tagging in Dax who faces off in a fun segment with Goto. Dax scores a beautiful brainbuster and Cash follows with a rapid fire suicida. FTR does motion capture worthy superplex/splash and dragon suplex/jacknife pin combos before Goto evens things out with a beautiful Ushigoroshi. Cash and Yoshi take a ride to the outside on a nasty double suplex while Cash gets a broken nearfall on Goto with a stacked piledriver. YOSHI-HASHI noticeably trips because of course he does and then the end was good but I've forgotten it because the match was too short, FTR are probably going back to New York, and Yoshi-Hashi tripped!"
[7.0] "Very fun, although a condensed version of how great it could have been under different circumstances. Still, the action is strong, the dynamics are well done and the finish is the right call. Team YOSHI-HASHI!"
[7.0] "Well this was just a heavyweight version of the opening match - an awesome tornado tag team match with slightly greater spots to make up for the fact that FTR were unover at the bell, because why would they be? Nevertheless, this began to deliver a quality match once they got going, which was quick into it. Some of the spots, such as the suplex to the outside of the Power-plex got big reactions, as did the finish with YOSHI-HASHI getting the winning pin. FTR continue their losing tour on their way out potentially. ***1/2"
[6.0] "Was hoping for a lil more here as a bout between both teams sounded very interesting on paper. Did its job though, can't complain too much. Lots of classic, hard-hitting action I've grown to love. Totally serviceable."
[7.0] "A fine match with the time they were given. Just another victim of time cuts on this big show which was expected. Would love to see a longer match, but who knows if that will be possible in the future."
[8.0] "Out of all the matches, this got the crowd the most invested thus far. Cash Wheeler had some real daredevil spots, and the transitions of this match were very well executed. Would've loved to see this match get some more time. While FTR was in the driver's seat, Bishamon were good."
