[6.0] "Good match overall, with some good action in a very fast paced match with a lot spots. However I think the outcome was very predictable with the new day dominating at first only for the Viking raiders to win in the end. I also dont think it flowed too well"
[6.0] "Michael Cole calmly and pedantically explaining the name of the move "Ragnarok" and what it means instead of reacting to Xavier Woods getting driven through two stacked tables to the floor is a flat moment in what should have been an exciting climax. A few exciting weapons-based spots here but not a lot of good connective tissue."
[9.0] "this match had everything: speed and brutality, atmospheric scenery, chemistry between the participants, creativity, dynamism, duration and, of course, intrigue. Moreover, this fight was preceded by a plot that lasted more than one week. It was awesome! ****1/2."
[8.0] "Great fun, a creative brawl with some stuff that looked seriously painful. Wrestling shouldn't be like this all the time, but sometimes, it's exactly what is needed. ****"
[9.0] "Was für ne coole Kulisse der Ring sah aus wie ein Wikingerschiff und das hier ist klar mein Match of the Night (****). Xavier als Loki mit Einhorn und Kofi als Thor das war das Highlights der Entrance."
[8.0] "A difference maker of a match, or should I say a fight? Both teams were given a PPV worth time length to work on an absolute wreckage of a brawl. The atmosphere felt fresh & the weaponry was creatively handled throughout allowing some sick spots to be executed. New Day thrived as not-so-easy-to-give-up fighters, while Viking Raiders took their hunts to their levels of carnage and came out as the ultimate threat to the tag division. I hope this intensity around Raiders is maintained to present them as monstrous heels and possibly the dethroners of the champs. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "I tend to dislike when wrestling has too much silliness in it, and this easily could have gone in that direction, but I really appreciated how much thought and effort went in to the presentation of this match. How can I hate on a match where half a boat is attached to the ring...? There was plenty of action and it was all very unique and interesting. The unicorn horn hammer was a bit much for me, but other than that this was fun and memorable."
[8.0] "Yeah, that's exactly what I expected from their confrontation. Viking Rules are very original and original, this can be used in important Viking matches. A very dynamic, charismatic and tough result of the confrontation. There was also a sledgehammer, a shield, a Drakkar on which there were a lot of hard falls, 2x tables and just a wonderful strike wrestling. I am grateful to the company in every possible way for the fact that the fighters were given to show what they really know and love!"
[7.0] "The right team won as the Vikings needed a big win. Sadly, even here, the New Day still didn't come in with the necessary intensity. Not the best brawling match you'll ever see but fine for WWE tv."
[9.0] "I am glad that this competition ended with the duel we deserved. Hope it's over because it took too long. Let's take a new day break, let them rest and come back in style. Their current rank is too low than they deserve. It's nice that we keep building Vikings and hope they get a good competition, but with whom? This is a tough question."
[8.0] "This was a good brawl to end the rivalry between the New Day and VIking Raiders. This had some creative, brutal spots in this due to the wacky weapon selection that they had at their disposal. The Viking raiders were good as the powerhouse heel team here and the New Day are good babyfaces so they were naturally able to play off of that. The ending with woods going through stacked tables was cool.***3/4"
[7.0] "Solid brawl, and good fun for the most part, but not really as brutal as a no-rules Viking battle should have been. It did a good job of building up the Viking Raiders as a credible force though."
[9.0] "This is the type of wrestling I like: character-driven, goofy at times, aesthetically different. Both teams did moves they do not normally do. New Day looked good in the Loki and Thor gear. Also I have not watched a whole episode in a while but it was refreshing to see the show begin with a heater match instead of a meandering promo."
[9.0] "This rivalry was starting to disgust me, but after this match they have certainly made their mark that Viking Raiders can do a lot more than squash New Day."
[9.0] "I can say it was the match of the night, clearly amazing match between New Day and Viking Raiders, the spots, the stipulation, the action, 22 minutes, just well deserved **** 1/4 from me, 8.5 [9]"
[9.0] "This was an innovative match with amazing spots. A very intense brawl between both teams. Been a while since the Viking Raiders had such a good showing."
[7.0] "It was a fun team brawl but it was also a stupid team brawl. I really like Hanson (idk is he Erik of Ivar lol). the match somewhere between cool and little bit cringe"
[9.0] "This was a really fun opener. 22 minutes of action with creative weapon spots, great selling, intensity, pacing, and a great finish too. I loved Kofi's mallet that just exploded over Erik's head, and Ivar just throwing a shield at Woods' face was brutal. Really good opener that I honestly wouldn't have minded seeing on the PPV. [****1/4]"
