There were moments when you'd see a guy hit a dive to the outside of the ring, then his opponent would immediately pop to his feet and stand there because another guy had to hit a dive in the same spot. Too much standing around groggy in general like guys are waiting for their opponent to input a Mortal Kombat fatality code. After a while that stuff really got to me and cancelled out all of the positives because I couldn't unsee it. |

I'm guessing they're setting Johnny Superstar/Johnny Caballero up to challenge Laredo Kid, (which is great; that match will be fun), but did we really need to do that with a finish that required one of 39 low blows on the evening? Just have him beat Laredo clean! It was very lame and put a damper on what was a really fun match. All six of these guys are great, Cartwheel feels like a natural in the AAA chaos and Dragon Lee and Taurus were just tremendous together. Dragon Lee and Dralistico not winning is weird prior to the Hardy's match, but that's a small gripe compared to the overall finish. |
