Some nearfalls, some reversals, generally smooth work. Nothing exceptional but they never dropped the pace. The crowd being utterly dead was a shame though; this wasn't amazing but there were some moments I'm surprised got no pops at all. ***1/4+ |

However, having a fucking silent crowd like this, that cut me out. They had to be crazy for it. Good showcase for both men. |

I love the spots they did during this match, especially during the beginning of it. The finish was great also. This was also my favorite match between the two of them so far! Ein fantastisches Match der beiden, es ging wirklich hin und her, hatten miteinander eine unglaubliche Chemie miteinander und zeigten ein 20-minütiges Klassematch. Buddy zeigte außerdem einen Curb Stomp und wollte auch Black's zweites Auge an der Treppe ausstechen, was coole Throwbacks waren. Wenn die Crowd noch ein bisschen mehr drinnen gewesen wäre, wäre es sogar noch besser geworden. Auch eine nette Post-Match Promo von Black, wo er noch einmal Buddy over bringt. Sehr cooler Abschluss der Show. |

Despite it, these two have incredible chemistry and put on a good match, with crisp well excuted action. The match was a it's best when the pace was quick, and would have benifited from cutting some of the more methodical parts, since the atmoshpere really took me out of the action at times. There were also some cool callbacks to their history in WWE , altough it didn't do much for me since I wasn't invested in the company or their feud, at the time. Overall, it's a really good match, that should have been great and I hope they run it back in front of a crowd that's more exited to see them square up. [ * * * 3/4] |

| 34 | 29.11.2021 | TheLegitBoss | 9.0 | Fantastic match between Black and Matthews here in what wasn't even their best encounter together because they've had better ones in WWE but I'm just glad to see that chemistry continue to be exploited and this fourth chapter between these two great wrestlers was clearly brilliant. I had very high expectations, I was afraid of being disappointed but in the end they were met and this is for me the best match of these two guys since they were released from their WWE contract, honestly Black still hasn't had a singles match of the level of this one in All Elite Wrestling until now and Matthews is finally getting more exposure. Great action, good wrestling and an interesting callback to their history together with Matthews trying to kick Black's eye out on the stairs, this was really good. Great move for WrestleCade who will inevitably attract people with this main event. |
