He had some good sequences with Dragon Kid and Ultimo Dragon. The sequence with Doi was good too but they are definitely holding back for tomorrow's match. Owashi and YAMATO had a good hard-hitting exchange as well. Kondo was impressive too. All meshed very well into this match and played their role to the fullest. My favorite spot has to be Doi attempting a leap-frog over Yoshino and getting chopped sending him to the mat. That looked awesome in my opinion. Further, the ending was very perplexing with Kagetora scoring a pinfall over Yoshino as he puts over a talent on his way out. Cool stuff overall. It had emotion in it too and it is a match worth checking out. **** |

And then when Milano Collection AT left Dragon Gate, he turned heel, joining Naruki Doi and Blood Generation and you know the rest. This is a match filled with nostalgia and history and it served wonderfully as the second to last match that Yoshino will have in his in-ring career. Naturally, the match had a lot of Yoshino involved but I like how they took the time to actually use everyone in the match. In fact Dragon Kid was probably the wrestler with the most ring time than anyone and he spent a lot of time wrestling everyone. The action was the typical DG style. A lot of hype fast action in the ring but there was a certain methodical pace attached to it that allowed everything to breathe. Yoshino had his key moments in the match with Dragon Kid, Naruki Doi, and finally, Kagetora for the closing fall. It was a shock win for Kagetora (the winning team wasn't but Kagetora is) but good for him getting this rub. Great match overall to be going out on. **** |

| 28 | 01.08.2021 | Makoto92 | 8.0 | Masato Yoshino's matches in "Final Countdown" tour were very VERY dramatic, but that one is the most. Some people may think that this is a random tag with the DG legends, but the match hides a very interesting history. Yoshino joined forces with the guys, who betrayed him, when Dragon Gate didn't exist yet. There is seen, how heartbreaking this was, if we look into Masato's eyes. The match itself was very emotional and sometimes even entertaining, thanks to Brother Yasshi moments. |
| 29 | 01.08.2021 | haroldanthony3 | 8.0 | I don't have the historical knowledge in Dragon Gate that will allow me to truly appreciate this match in a way a true fan was. I did enjoy the match however and could tell how emotional it was for Yoshino and enjoyed the story they told. |
| 30 | 01.08.2021 | pierreMinne | 8.0 | This was just emotionally excellent. The last match of Masato Yoshino with guys like YAMATO, Dragon Kid or Shuji Kondo, so it was obvious that it would've been hard to watch for me, but damn it was great to see the smile on Yoshino's face. We had some very cool moments, like when no one wanted to come in the ring when YASSHI wanted to tag someone, and the interactions between Yoshino and Doi were just awesome. Giving the win to Kagetora over Yoshino was an excellent move. **** |
