| 30.08.2022 | TSwifty | 7.0 | Nakajima and Elgin had a very good sprint here but it was slightly underwhelming due to how great their 2016 match was. Nakajima was excellent as always with his kicks and reversals. Elgin was awesome whenever he was hitting those hard elbows and insane power moves. They kept it quick and didn't go long. Nakajima's sunset flip reversal was probably one of the slickest I've ever seen. I wish these two had a longer and more meaningful match together because i feel like they have an epic in them. ***1/2 |

| 27.10.2021 | LariatNation | 7.0 | Katsuhiko Nakajima is on the shortlist of candidates for the title of best in the world. His character work, striking, reversals, and selling are among the best, while his storytelling is all but guaranteed to be present. In this one, he showed why he is the star he is. The showboating in the corner was immaculately executed and the moment of karma for the repeated Lariats was a highlight of the bout. He also pulled off one of the smoothest Powerbomb reversals imaginable and sold like there was no other option. Some of the selling by his opponent took me out of it a bit, but overall, a damn good match. A nice and methodical match that leads to a pretty explosive finish. 3.5 stars, 7 out of 10. |
| 30.05.2021 | kasainity433 | 7.0 | Good sprint of a match, truly showcased what Elgin can do. Would have liked to have seen a bit more from Nakajima during the match but from what I did see of him he was quite good. |
| 15.02.2021 | AndoCommando | 7.0 | Stiff shots and near-falls are the meat of this match, with very little filler in between. Nakajima has his kicks and effective heat segments, Elgin his forearms and impressive power moves. They each hit hard and leave little up in the air. Simple, but effective. It's not at the level of their G1 clash years ago, but this bout was very satisfying nonetheless. ***3/4 |
| 15.11.2020 | Hiimfriendly | 7.0 | Decided to watch this cause I have nothing else better to do. Haven't watched a Michael Elgin match in a very long time, not gonna lie, I kinda miss this dude in New Japan, hes clearly best-suited in a Japanese promotion, it was such a shame that New Japan officials didn't see him as a upper-mid/main event calibre talent as he obviously is. Not a huge fan of post-heel turn Nakajima, but hes been in the industry for like, idk, 15 years I guess? He knows what hes doing. Tl;dr: good sprint between two great wrestlers. Good match - ***1/4. |
| 21.07.2020 | seriousbusiness | 7.0 | It's not as epic as their New Japan match from years before, but they still obvously have great chemistry even after all this time. A short match, but still a very good match for the time it was given. |
| 14.07.2020 | Fishsticks | 8.0 | Absolute banger here, with both guys going balls to the wall. Elgin always shines in NOAH and every other Japanese promotion he steps foot in. Action-packed sprint match between two great wrestlers. ***3/4 |
