Hunter Hearst Helmsley had an interesting early part of his career, playing the Connecticut Blue Blood on TV at the time as well as being a member of the Kliq. This was one of the first standout matches of his career in the WWF, which isn't a surprise considering who he was working with. Part way through the match, Mr Perfect came out to observe the match. This was supposed to build to a partnership where he would manage Helmsley, but he would end up leaving the WWF and go to WCW. Shawn did eventually win the match with the Sweet Chin Music. It's interesting to go back and watch this match considering the known friendship and rivalry they would have later on. ***1/2 |

The nose focus in the first half was quite good, as was Vince's light hearted comments regarding the size, but I'm happy they left it out later. Kurz vor dem MSG haben wir hier noch ein nettes Kliq-Ausrufezeichen. Anständige Partie, kein Klassiker. |
