| 31 | 25.07.2025 | BasuraNocturna | 5.0 | Finlay tends to be a steady hand in the ring. He can work both sides (heel and face) without really changing his style of mannerisms. SANADA grabbing the hair made the divide between good guy and bad guy much more clear, even if Finlay didn't completely went away from playing dirty (which I liked). |

David Finaly still going on strong and really got some power on him love when he does the suplex toss or hit the Gore puts so much umph in there. |

While he apparently has a lot of limitations following his arm injury, he still has a mountain of athleticism which I showed here. The fact that some kind of internal battle is being suggested adds another fun layer to it. SINGLES RECORD: David Finlay 2-1 |

Really enjoyable ending stretch brings this match up a little bit compared to the rest of the matches so far today. *** 3/4. |

Best showing in those final seconds from sanada ive seen in a while and the most interested i've been in him ever. 3.50 stars |

| 80 | 21.07.2025 | bigdaddyc369 | 6.0 | Definitely an improvement on Sanada's match from night one of the G1. David Finlay is pretty good in the in the ring and I think he'll go on a deep run in the tournament. It sucks to see Sanada being a shell of his former self as he was once a top guy. |

| 89 | 21.07.2025 | mathvrdr | 7.0 | Great action in the ring. Finlay is very good and maybe one of the best in the tournament right now. I hope we will see Takeshita vs. Finlay this summer. I still don't know what to think of SANADA as I didn't see his previous runs in NJPW. |
| 90 | 21.07.2025 | DENDY | 6.0 | This had stretches of really solid work but they only really made me miss old SANADA. SANADA is undeniably a very competent heel, but I could not forget how good their previous singles bouts had been when watching this. This continued to chart the downfall of SANADA, losing when it comes to actual wrestling and only really getting a leg up when antics came into play, but it told that story well and let us see more real work than I expected. Finlay got the win with an Overkill in around 10 minutes and this was a competent but not great match, worth a watch on the card but not one to seek out. |

| 92 | 21.07.2025 | mandraker | 6.0 | I think it's impossible to Finlay to have bad showing. This guy is just too good. I was surprise the layout of the match where Sanada decide to wrestle a classic SANADA match with the Paradise Lock or so after the match he decide to wrestle against Tsuji. Good finish |
