210.02.2025Galdr10.0An incredible match that satisfies many of my criteria for being worthy of a 10: less than twenty minutes, a hot crowd, stiff strikes, and real intensity. I absolutely adored this and popped big time for the brutal kicks reminiscent of when Shibata kicked Fujita in New Japan.

1224.10.2022Heavy9.0Short and brutal match, Taniguchi showed a lot of Heart and Fujita as usual had his aura and intimidating presence. Fujita offenses were hard hitting and his selling fine. Amazing undergog performance by Shuhei.
1330.03.2022Mudshow Idol6.0This is a really short match with the first half being completely aimless and nothing of interest occurring. There's only a couple of good minutes of action all told. Admittedly, those few minutes are very good, but I don't see how you can give this a nearly perfect score when there's so little to it.
1409.02.2022CoolKyle6.0Match was brutal but in an amazing way. The whole match is characterized by long bouts of Taniguchi having control but occasionally losing it to a much stronger and harder hitting Fujita. Shuhei showed amazing spirit here, more than I have ever seen out of him, and while ultimately coming up short got me to think differently of him. If you prefer your wrestling to be hard hitting, I would go out of your way to watch this short but brutal contest.

3218.01.2020ShibataWresler6.0Kazuyuki Fujita is probably the only person on this planet I've seen that doesn't lose his mind after getting slapped right in the face. The first 5 mins or so of this match were really uninteresting, Taniguchi bullying Fujita like he's a 5 year old. But once the match picked up the pace, and Tanuguchi's face started bleeding, this became a good smackfest. This was just good, not great. ***

3408.12.2019Dragon Fighter8.0This was a pretty crazy short match. A total slugfest with slaps, kicks, strikes in general. I appreciate it is different from usual generic strong style match. Short, but very stiff, intense match from both men. Very good.

3601.12.2019NastyYaffa6.0A bit disappointing if I'm all honest w/ ya. Fujita definitely brought the VICIOUSNESS w/ a capital V (& all letters for that matter), and the match was at least PRETTY GOOD 'cause of it, but there wasn't nearly enough of that, as I felt Taniguchi got wayyyy too much of the match to his name. He wasn't interesting at all except for that one moment where he slapped the taste out of Fujita's mouth during the clean break spot.

4222.11.2019Spider57867.0Short but bloody physical battle with blood streaming down the face of Tanaguchi we had some brutal striking and kicks with a submission finish that looked like the finish of an MMA fight.

4517.11.2019Roach9.0These guys beat the shit out of each other and it was amazing. This was an awesome sprint and my interest in Taniguchi is really increasing.

4715.11.2019arrancar6.0I imagine the Inokiism revisionists must have rejoiced at this match, because it definitely looked like the sort of thing you'd expect to see from NJPW during the early 2000s. I've never been interested in Inokiist matches outside of considering them a 'cute' spectacle, which is what this was. It was a short match with both men hitting stiff strikes and selling well. That was about it. I appreciated how this was different from the type of 'strong-style' main event matches NOAH does where its just guys smashing each other for 30 minutes straight, but I definitely didn't see anything notably exciting here. I've always known that Taniguchi is a good wrestler when not held down by a terrible heel gimmick, and he looked good working a no-nonsense strike-based style here, but I think he can definitely do better than this. ***

5911.11.2019OuttieGW10.0Great match. A fantastic brawl full of intesity and testosterone, in which Taniguchi played Fujita's game and did it wonderfully. One of the best ? 10 minutes matches of the year.

6311.11.2019Makai Club 6.0Fujita in NOAH sounds cool. I like prime Fujita - he is different, and while sometimes he comes across as indifferent and awkward, he can bring some violence that not a ton of people can. I didn't care for his Inamura squash but it didn't have much time to be anything worth enjoying. But this seems much more on an even match for him. Taniguchi clocking Fujita when he is asked to break was awesome. Both guys laid in some big shots. And with Taniguchi bleeding during the strike exchange, it added to it past it just being stiff strikes. There was some nice drama towards the end as well. Good match ***1/4
6410.11.2019-dustykeyboard6.0This was good. It had a beginning, middle, end, it was quick, there was blood, it was GOOD. It was STIFF. Shuhei got A LOT IN. Fujita did his KICKS. Nosawa was IN THE BACKGROUND. There was TESTOSTERONE. IRON HEAD has a VERY HARD HEAD. He TOOK PUNISHMENT. WHAT ELSE DOES THE CHARACTER LIMIT WANT FROM ME.
