503.04.2025Wrestlingfan08089.0Another tv banger for Sheamus. My appreciation for the Irish fella over the last two years continues to grow. One of the more consistent wrestlers of his time and one of the more reliable wrestlers. Whatever you need from Sheamus he delivers. ****1/4

915.02.2025TPG8.0A great gimmick match on free TV on a lower stakes platform. This only really need to be scrappy and have some cool spots, and they deliver that in spades. I enjoy the roughness around the edges with things like Sheamus grabbing at hair early or Dunne sneaking in with small shots or grabbing at the limbs more as a means of controlling Sheamus' mass. All the shots land really well too, but they also supplement it with a few really great set pieces. Dunne getting caught on his crossbody and getting slammed onto the announce desk but also that delightfully nutty White Noise off the barrels through the tables. Great finish too with Dunne trying one final trick and then still getting blasted into oblivion for it. A fun match indeed.

1712.12.2024ElRaven9.0I really like this Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook gimmick match. Creative spots, interesting props and a cool setting. As for the narrative component, Sheamus is absolutely right when he says that thanks to his work with the Brawling Brutes, Butch finally became relevant, Pete Dunne's return of his original gimmick pleased some smarks, but the truth is that as an independent unit in the Bruiserweight gimmick he is really boring, because he has no personality or charisma. The fact that he is annoyed by the name "Butch" is so stupid... And this match looks like a parting gift from Sheamus to his former partner for the team. Pitt looked good in this match, but, unlike Sheamus, his future in the company is very unclear to me. ****1/2

2027.11.2024Screaming Enigma8.0Definitely the best match between these two. Part of me was really hoping they'd let Dunne get the win, but, deep down, I knew Sheamus was gonna win. I'm just glad that Dunne was presented pretty well over the course of this feud. Aside from that, this was a very good time.

2701.11.2024Frank Shooter6.0Terribly overrated here, terribly underdeveloped by WWE. I don't see what happened here for this match to get an 8 or 4 stars at all. The only great spot was the White Noise on the two tables, everything else was your typical basic and repetitive no DQ WWE match. I can't say anything bad about Sheamus and Pete Dunne here, they did a pretty good job and they did some hard bumps, but just like most potential bangers in WWE, they doesn't reach next level and the story within it it's equally superficial, in this case even lame. Making this whole feud revolve around Pete Dunne hating being called Butch just ridicules one of the best European wrestlers today and doesn't allow him to being seen beyond being another vanilla midget pretending to be tough by the casuals when in reality he is a tough and sadistic bastard, not a laughable prick. There was some good complexity that could've be explored in this feud that would've made this look more serious and violent, that would've helped Pete Dunne gain some status even if he ended losing up to Sheamus instead of going for that ridiculous crap, but right now I doubt anyone that doesn't really know him thinks of him as a potential midcard champion. *** 1/4 for the great saving performance of both Sheamus and Pete.

3029.10.2024Fakhruddin Hawari9.0This type of match delivers once again. It was a very good hard hitting battle as expected from the two Europeans. The crowd also was invested in this match.

3527.10.2024Makai Club 7.0These two had a mighty good match in August. This had a bit more of a brawling aspect to it with the weapons and gimmicks attached to it. There was a mountain of barrels stacked at ringside, for example. And of course, Sheamus and Dunne did a spot off the top of it. Dunne didnt get totally crushed. He took a lot of punishment but had some key spots in this and was able to survive the High Cross. Dunne smacked Sheamus with the cricket bat and zip tied Sheamus, allowing himself the edge. Sheamus was only able to win via a last ditch brogue kick. Good match.***1/4

4221.10.2024Kyle from TheMatchGuide8.0Somehow, some way, RAW has been good to tune into, and its thanks in part to Sheamus (and a seth rollins absence). Pete Dunne hasn't been good for half a decade now, but Sheamus somehow good multiple good matches out of him. Pale Irish Man is him. 4 Stars.

5615.10.2024TomTakagi8.0Of all the hardcore stips WWE has in its quiver, the Donnybrook feels the silliest. Neither man is shy about laying their shit in though, so the action itself was good. The big spot through the tables looked brutal and Sheamus' elbow came off looking the worse for wear. I'm not sure about Pete Dunne losing to a guy who literally has his hands tied behind his back, but it felt creative and I can't really fault the rest of the match. Good stuff.
