[8.0] "Let me just comment on the "hip hop challenge" first. This was horribly kicked off. Why couldn't this come up naturally between Cena and Rikishi like it sorta did in a promo a couple weeks ago? They could have kept jabbing at each other in promos or have one interrupt the other while one is in the ring and the other on the ramp or something like that, and all of a sudden a rap-off could have happened organically. Like, without Taz as an MC. The way they pulled this off just seemed so forced and inorganic. So many better ways to push Cena as his new character. Whatever. All of this doesn't matter really cause the only thing that matters on this show is the fatal four way which was awesome. These four guys are fantastic and don't run out of energy. They have great chemistry together. Everything looks or feels real and natural watching them play off each other. I don't like Angle kicking out of all of Edge's finishing moves towards the end. I do like triple threats or fatal four ways because the every man for himself format allows for a lot of finishers and realistic reasons for the finishers not leading to a pin. But angle kicking out of basically three finishing moves in a row was ridiculous. I also understand Angle is the only guy in this match who has won the title before, so if anyone should be kicking out of three finishers in a row, it probably should be him. But my argument here is that pretty much nobody should be able to do that. Especially not on free tv lol. Angle wins which sets him up for a match with Big Show. Will this be the final straw that tuns Angle babyface, finally? Seems like the crowd loves chanting You Suck to his theme song but aside from that, he gets face pops with benoit. In other news, Albert is back for some reason and got involved in two different segments. Not sure why. The show ends with Dawn Marie seducing (or raping? ) Torrie Wilson. wtf is going on lol. Oh another thing I thought was super entertaining was the Brock "interview" which was interrupted by Heyman and Show just as it was getting started. I thought that was pretty genius how they did that. Well, this episode was very good overall. I didn't even mention Kidman/Chavo which was entertaining if nothing else."

[6.0] "Ja hoppla, Albert hat man lange nicht mehr im Fokus gesehen, und dann kommt der gleich mit solch einem Statement-Win über Mysterio um die Ecke. Bei Noble muss man wohl leider mittlerweile von einer Niederlagenserie reden, was zum wiederholten Male seinen Cousin Nunzio ins Gespräch bringt, was ein kleiner FBI-Teaser ist. Wo Nunzio nun aber im Zusammenhang zum Trailerpark-Jamie steht, sollte man mir auch mal erklären. Bill de Mott hat sich unterdessen durch seine Trainertätigkeit bei Tough Enough wieder in Erinnerung gerufen und bekommt einen Squash über Funaki. Von humorous keine Spur. Kidman gegen Chavo ist sicherlich okay, mit deutlichen Charismavorteilen beim Guerrero. Vor dem letzten Match festigt man Cena als Wannabe-Rapper, wobei Buchanan das erste 'Word Life' durch die Gegend raunt. Interessant ist dabei noch die Einmischung von Tazz, der einen Haltegriff zugunsten seines Buddies Rikishi beisteuert. Den Beat trifft hier trotzdem keiner. Die letzte halbe Stunde der Episode bereitet mir einfach sehr viel Freude. Wäre vom Rest nur das eine oder andere hauchzart besser, wir könnten insgesamt über einen oder zwei Punkte mehr diskutieren. So leider nicht. Trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung an das Hauptmatch."

[8.0] "A strong episode of Smackdown that bounced back well from it's worst show of the year last week because it felt like the focus was back on the in-ring product which was what made this show so great in the first place. The four way match is phenomenal and Edge's performance not only stood out because it made him look like an awesome sympathetic babyface, but also because it made the WWE Title feel like the most important thing on the show. Billy Kidman vs Chavo is also very good and the cruiserweight division is starting to look good again. Albert gets a shock win over Rey Mysterio here as well and the post match assault started a new feud with Edge, which then became a huge factor in the main event. It's a controversial push, but his win made sense to me because of the size difference and it's good to see a win over a star like Rey look like a big deal. The weakness of the show is that awful Torrie and Dawn Marie storyline which becomes really uncomfortable to watch because of the blackmail to sell a lesbian sex storyline. Brock Lesnar is also comically bad at doing promos, but he is unintentionally funny to watch."

[5.0] "For the second straight week, Smackdown continues to be weird. Albert, Crash, and Bill Demott all get wins on Smackdown. Albert is being launched into a monster heel role after not being on TV for months. Brock gets exposed in a promo all by himself, which never really changes. The Torrie/Dawn continues to be horrible and has reached another level this week. However, the show is somewhat saved by the great fatal 4-way main event."

[7.0] "Albert just randomly comes back, and destroys Rey lmao. Lesnar still wants revenge on Big Show/Heyman even with his suspension. They're starting to turn Cena into a rapper more and more every week. Kidman/Guerrero was good and the main event was awesome with Edge getting to look really good , and Kurt Angle winning and immediately getting attacked by Big Show. I refuse to believe they ended SD that way, I still enjoyed this show though."

[5.0] "Durchschnittliche Ausgabe von SmackDown. Der Opener war schlecht. Eine Überraschung Albert wieder bei SmackDown zu sehen und nicht bei Velocity und überraschender ist sein Sieg gegenüber Mysterio. Er wollte mehr Schaden anrichten doch Edge rettet seinen Partner. Noble vs Crash war schlecht. Die Niederlagenserie Nobles geht weiter. Anscheinend wird man Nunzio nächste Woche sehen. Funaki vs DeMott war schlecht. Normal auch nur bei Velocity zu sehen aber diesmal hier. DeMott zeigt keinerlei Probleme. Lesnar zeigt Reue das er es verdient hat suspendiert zu sein und natürlich würgen Big Show und Heyman ihn noch einen rein. Lesnar kann es kaum abwarten beide in Farbe zu sehen. Solides Segment. Chavo vs Kidman war in Ordnung. Etwas länger ist es her das die Cruiserweights egal ob bei SmackDown oder Velocity mehr Zeit kriegen. Nettes Match. Ein Battle Rap ist mal ganz was neues und zeigt Cena voll und ganz in seinem neuen Gimmick. Rikishi war nicht übel und Tazz wird sogar handgreiflich. Der Main-Event war sehr gut. Wahnsinnig gutes Match und wieder beim blauen Brand. Edge wird vor dem Match gehandicapped nach Alberts Attacke doch Edge hält bis zum Finale durch wo Angle siegt. Big Show verpasst dem Sieger noch einen Chokeslam und warum man die Hotel Szene mit Dawn und Torrie nach dem Main-Event zeigt ist echt jämmerlich."

[7.0] "Leider gab es in dieser Folge gerade am Anfang sehr viele uninteressante squash Matches und nicht so tolle Segmente. Das hat die erste Show Hälfte sehr zäh gemacht. Erst mit dem Cruiserweight Championship Match wurde es dann besser. Billy Kidman und Chavo Guerrero zeigten hier ein gutes TV-Show Match. Das Number One Contender Match konnte das Niveau dann nochmal deutlich steigern und erzählte eine tolle Story und hat viel Zeit bekommen. Edge wirkte hier wie ein Mega Star! 7 / 10"

[8.0] "Neben sinnlosem rumgesquashe von unwichtigen Nebencharakteren (DeMott, Albert) gab es wohl den Finalen Split von Noble und Nidia, ein solides Interview Angle um Lesnar, Heyman und Show und einen großartigen Main Event (**** 1/2) welcher eines der besten Smackdown TV Matches der Geschichte ist. Gerade der Main Event wertet die Show natürlich richtig auf. Zu guter letzt gab es dann noch den Torrie und Dawn Marie Hotelzimmer Teas.... Wo das wohl hinführt.... ?"
