Insgesamt gebe Ich der gesamten Show, 6 Punkte."
[4.0] "The matches were fine-to-good with the exceptions being the Okada match and the main event (those sucked). The real issue I have with this episode, more than anything, is all of the non wrestling stuff. The non wrestling segments of this episode were, for the most part, not very entertaining. Drags down the score from what could've otherwise been a decent episode."
[7.0] "(6.5) What was a VERY good show was brought down by the awful main event. I'm also not happy that Megan is STILL in the tag title scene. I'd rather her be world champion man. Everything else was very good though and I enjoyed this for the most part."
[7.0] "Pros: Hot Darby car crash opener / Rascalz match was fun high paced action (has a very harsh rating imo) / Toni Storm declaring a hair vs hair match like its 90s wrestling / Ciampa match was GOAT'd. Cons: Womens tag main event was rough / Okada match has zero stakes (Adam Priest was very very very clearly not winning) / Josh Alexander's promo was basically inaudible due to the fighting in the background. This Collision felt a bit like a redemption for last week's crap Collision so I'm glad it wasn't a 2 hour slog. Looks like a fun build to the Aussie matches. Back rake count: 0, Eye poke count: 1."
"All things considered, it's a shame the TNT Championship match didn't main-event the show! Especially considering how shitty the actual main event turned out to be."
[6.0] "Not the strongest episode here. Really loved Ciampa/Briscoe, though I was rooting for Briscoe to retain. Darby/Connors was really good as well. Main event was pretty fine I thought. Did not care for Okada/Priest or the Rascalz debut but overall solid show."
[8.0] "Yeah overall a really fun 2 hours of collision we got a really good TNT match with a hot debut and win for Ciampa and also a really hot opener with Clark Conners showing out against Darby. A cool debut match for the Rascals and a nice mixed tag match wit Orange and Toni which set up a really cool match between them and Marina and Wheeler at Grand Slam (Time to go bald Yuta). Okada had a match where he looked in a little interested and Priest had a decent showing. The only blotch on the in ring action was a pretty poor women's tag title main event which was not ideal to close the show. The angles and promos they ran to set up future matches were all pretty cool looking forward to the parking lot fight next weekend so yeah a pretty good two hours."
[7.0] "A largely really good show, brought down by a lackluster main event. Darby vs. Connors was a really fun opening bout. Connors seems great. Another Gabe vs. Darby should be good, especially if they go for a no dq or something like that. Rascalz vs. CRU was solid. Some stuff landed, some other didn't - over a decent debut for the Rascalz in the dub. Toni/OC are fantastic team, their chemistry in insane and the hair vs. hair in Australia should be a really fun one. It's gonna be really sad when Yuta won't have his beautiful hair anymore. Ciampa vs. Briscoe was the best match of the night. Ciampa has already won me over; he's GREAT. Briscoe as champ wasn't landing so it was the right call to do the title change. Okada vs. Priest was good. Priest is REALLY GOOD. Babes of Wrath vs. Sisters of Sin was a pretty terrible main event. It was all very sloppy with a few botches. Nobody looked good there. 7/10"
Runde Show."
[8.0] "Last two matches weren't the great thing but the rest of the show was great. A debutant winning a championship is not my favorite thing ever, but as a fanboy of Black & Gold Ciampa I can't complain, the match was also great. Connors looked great and I have high expectations for the future Gabe vs Darby. The Rascalz also had a pretty entertaining match."
[5.0] "This one of the more interesting cards Collision has given us in recent weeks but it feels surface-level. Yeah, there's three title matches, but one is Okada vs Adam Priest and the other is Babes of Wrath vs Sisters of Sin, which only serves to make the women's tag division look more barren. Hopefully Windsor and Hayter can shake things up a bit because the division already feels like it's on life support. Briscoe vs Ciampa is okay, as is Connors vs Allin, even if it feels strange for Darby to be having the same "Bump off of everything" match against someone his own size. In kayfabe it seems like he kind of sucks as a wrestler to be getting knocked about the place so much only for his durability to save him, like Homer Simpson as a boxer. I was bored by the end of the episode, with Briscoe vs Ciampa feeling like (and being advertised like) the true main event."
"ok show. but I don't know why Marina is being allowed to wrestle she is worse than when Nia Jax first was on the main roster. Moxley needs to stop pushing her to Tony Khan. It's seems a lot more of gang warfare lately than actual wrestling. Darby Allin is back in another crap program just the like the one with the death riders. He was push to the main event early on, but now it seems like hes more a midcarder now. Botched spots in the main event match referee couldn't keep the wrestlers out in the tag team matches. Really wasn't expect Tomasso Ciampa winning a title in his debut. This seems like a shot at his last run. The Racalz seemed to be right call for debuts. The have bulit themselves really well for a long time. Ciampa needs to get some more wins before getting a title shot. The open challenges for title match and the elimnator title matches are just getting stale."
[5.0] "A slight step above from the recent dreadful Collisions but ultimately still not worth wasting 2 hours of your time. Tnt title match and the title change was really good, one of the few instances something noteworthy happenning on Collision. There were a few other enjoyable things like the toni-oc segment and subsequent hair match announcement. Althoug I fear that since Toni's been booked like shit for a while that they decided to do someting drastic and stupid to change course and cut Toni's hair because Tony Khan is clueless. Jamie-windsor vignette was also cool. Darby match was fine but a bit boring that he is still in the same spot he's always been in. The rest of the show range from mediocre to outright bad; women's tag match which was in the main event being the worst, ending the show on a sour note."
[5.0] "A fairly average show with only one truly compelling and suspenseful match. It's a shame it wasn't the main event. The main event itself lacked quality, while the other matches of the evening also lacked structure and suspense. The non-match segments weren't particularly memorable but did advance some storylines and set up some promising matchups for the coming week. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Angles and non-match segments: 0.75/3. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 5.25/10. Show watched on Triller TV."
Alles in allem also: Starke Matches, starke Folge!"
[8.0] "Attended this show in person. Was a great time. Opener was hot with the crowd. Clark Connors really showed out. Rascalz debut was awesome. The Cru and The Rascalz put on a fun match. Always good to see Orange Cassidy and Timeless Toni Storm. TNT title match was best of the night should have been the main event. Ciampa feels like he was made for AEW. Okada match was surprisingly good, crowd started to get behind Priest. Main event was enjoyable, liked the post match continuation of the Thekla and Stat feud. Only downside to the main event was Julia Hart. I feel like ever since she has returned she has been missing a step. I hope she can find a way back to form, because she can be great. TNT title and Rascalz matches are must watches in my opinion."
[7.0] "A good main event away from being a high quality two hours of TV wrestling. I enjoyed the angles and promos they ran and it had two very good matches."
[8.0] "After a bit of a wobbly past couple of weeks, I'm glad to see Collision back to easy Saturday night graps. Still a bit wobbly in places -- notably the main event -- but the Darby match makes up for it, and the Ciampa match makes up for it again. Perfect tonic to end the night, honestly."
"This was a great show! Definitely the best collision we have gotten this year so far. It didn't even feel like a 2 hour show. Seeing Ciampa back and winning gold was awesome. And I can't wait to see The Rascals throw down with more of the AEW tag division"
[6.0] "After a really rough stretch, Collision delivers an enjoyable show with some matches I would definitely recommend seeking out. The only real bummer was the main event, and the rascalz match didn't move me at all, everything else was enjoyable."
[8.0] "After a long long time collision delivered bang...Iam thinking they are focusing on collision from now on...My wish is to make it to the level of dynamite...Ciampa vs Briscoe was great, ciampa was in a great sigh and im more invested bcz kyle fletcher is his nxt opponent which is a great development...Nxt week we are getting a parking lot brawl as like a old aew days"
[8.0] "A more eventful Collision than usual, I like Ciampa winning and I in general would like to see the TNT title change hands more and be defended even more. Make it a proper TV title with like 5-7 reigns per year. The Rascalz debut was decent and pairing them with Eddie is a good idea and they get to do a match where they can show out next week. Darby added to the world title chasers list and the dynamic between Megan Bayne and Thekla while choosing Kris should be interesting. The angle they did for Grand Slam was really good too and shoutout to the Brawling Birds. A 7/10 Collision bumped up to 8 because unlike many good Collisions, there were actually some developments this time."
[8.0] "The in-ring action from beginning to end of this 4 match card was top tier. We were treated to two debuts and a title change as well, not bad for the B show! Darby and a Clark had a great little opener, the Rascalz looked really good in a fun and frenetic, PWG influenced tag match, but the real highlight was the TNT title contest, which saw Tommaso Ciampa make his AEW premiere and take Mark Briscoe's belt. Okada and Priest was a solid enough back and forth, and the main event was a lot of fun until some late match sloppiness slowed things down a bit, but didn't serve to derail the proceedings. All in all a fun show and a great way to spend a Saturday evening."
[9.0] "Great stuff tonight. Shocked that Ciampa won but am happy with it. I had my doubts about him coming in since I haven't seen him wrestle in years and heard not so great things but the guy blew me away. Very excited to have him around. I like the Rascalz a lot too."
[7.0] "A solid episode of Collision with some decent matches and segments. Darby Allin vs Clark Connors: A solid amount of chemistry in this match which made it an easy watch, Allin continues to take risks and get the win against Connors who put in some decent effort in this one [***1/2]. Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz vs Action Andretti & Lio Rush: A fun evenly matched contest here between these two teams in what was The Rascalz debut in AEW, CRU made for ideal opponents as their styles are similiar [***1/2]. Orange Cassidy & Toni Storm vs Gino Medina & Lady Bird Monroe: A simplistic squash match here that was average [*1/2]. Tommaso Ciampa vs Mark Briscoe: What a debut match in AEW for Ciampa, he and Briscoe laid it all on the line for the TNT Title which Ciampa won which was goid to see, they had great chemistry and had a great match [****1/4]. Kazuchika Okada vs Adam Priest: Priest had a solid showing against someone the calibre of Okada, they had a better match than I was expecting, Okada getting the win was not surprising [***1/2]. Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale vs Julia Hart & Skye Blue: A solid match in the main event, Babes Of Wrath continue to impress as a team as does Sisters Of Sin which made this an interesting watch [***1/2]"
[8.0] "Now that's what I'm talking about! Not only was this easily the best collision of the year so far, it's the best in a while (partly because we got meaningful progress AND good matches), with the only major negative being some of Schiovane's commentary. I'm yet to see a Darby match I haven't found engaging and this was another solid display. Thoroughly enjoyed the post match because of the way Kidd (who's a compelling talker) cut the promo and both men simply stating their objectives. Women's tag package & jetset rodeo promo were decent. Rascalz v CRU was a breath of fresh air because you have 2 teams that can go 100 mph and do cool moves, but they maturely picked certain moments to speed up and slow down while spreading out the high spots and letting the match retain a level of realism while staying entertaining. Both teams looked good and glad the rascalz won. Solid brawling birds vignette. Mox rambled a bit, but at least his promo hints at an interesting direction for Takeshita. Orange Storm squash might be one of the best I've seen in a long time. That lady bird woman has something and the post match was great. It wasn't generic, and it setup a meaningful match. GYV & Kingston/Ortiz segment was simple and effective with the appropriate application of the bounty hunter gimmick for Bill & Keith. Really good stuff here as Eddie recruits the rascalz who just proved their worth on the same night. Smart. TNT title vid package was great. The match itself (surprised it didn't ME) was a comfortable banger (didn't need the table spot tbh) with the right result. While I'm thoroughly curious about what a Fletcher v Ciampa match would look like, I don't really need him in the TNT title scene at this point. Don Callis cronies segment was alright (happy Alexander has a better defined role). Okada v Priest was surprisingly competitive. Wasn't sure what to expect here but I really enjoyed this and Rocky was kinda telling the DCF story via commentary. Also, the distraction strategy from Okada and rocky was very good. I'd like to think they have plans for Priest in the future. World title picture package & Ciampa's 1st promo segment were solid. Unfortunately, the ME (while not outright bad) was one of the weaker parts of this show with a lot of stuff looking slow and the old school into a hurricanrana botch. The post match angle was one of the less inspired ones too. I just wish they wouldn't shoe horn a lot of the women into one feud that barely has a clear story/narrative beyond face v heels. Bottom line is meaningful progression & Star power makes for a good Collision."
[8.0] "That's one of the best episodes of Collision I've seen in quite a bit. Outside of a bit of clunkiness in the main event, everything hit. A solid debut for the Rascalz. Darby/Connors was a nice car crash of a match. Priest had a fantastic showing against Okada; That was a nice showcase for him as he's also been really solid in ROH and deserves some more eyeballs. But that Ciampa/Briscoe match? Simply perfect. Both men know how to build a match and that was just textbook work from both of them. The back and forth nature of it plus the emphasis on calling out how much time was remaining had me convinced we were getting a draw, but well done by Ciampa to pull off the victory. The episode's worth watching but if you can't find time for the whole thing for some reason, at least find the time to watch that match. Not messing around by teasing Fletcher as the next challenger, too."
