216.12.2025Rossg176.0Solid show to end the World Tag League tour with a banger of a World Tag League final match. El Phantasmo vs Hartley Jackson: A solid as can be opening match to get the crowd warmed up for the rest of the show, Jackson had a solid showing and ELP retaining was the right choice here [**3/4]. Alex Zayne, Lance Archer, Masatora Yasuda, Satoshi Kojima & Taichi vs Boltin Oleg, Hirooki Goto, Katsuya Murashima, Tatsuya Matsumoto & YOSHI-HASHI: An okay usual standard undercard multi man match, the young lions had an okay showing, Archer and Oleg had an interesting set of exchanges, Kojima got the win which was interesting and all got their moment in [**3/4]. Don Fale, SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs El Desperado, Shoma Kato & Shuji Ishikawa: Nothing interesting happened in this average six man tag match, served its purpose of being on the show [**]. Drilla Moloney, Shingo Takagi & Taiji Ishimori vs Chase Owens, DOUKI & Yujiro Takahashi: Another match on the card that was below average except for Moloney and Takagi with their teamwork which was okay to see [**]. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura vs Daiki Nagai, OSKAR & Yuto-Ice: The better of the undercard multi man matches on this show, all did what they needed to do, some solid action with the right winners [***1/2]. David Finlay & Hiromu Takahashi vs Callum Newman & Great O-Khan: Finlay and Takahashi jumped Newman and O-Khan before the bell and once the bell had rang the match was average before the DQ finish when Newman hit Finlay with a steel chair to end this abruptly [**]. Master Wato, Toru Yano & YOH vs EVIL, Ren Narita & SANADA: The match had to be restarted following the No contest which when it restarted it was not good with HOT using their usual tactics and at least the right team won [*1/4]. Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr vs Gabe Kidd & Yota Tsuji: A great way to end World Tag League 2025, made interesting with all four and their different styles especially the technical wrestling on display, Oiwa picking up the win for him and ZSJ was great to see, but would have been happy with either team winning as the match was that good [*****]
