[5.0] "Whole lotta mid. Great opener, but it becomes mediocre swiftly after. I skipped the Megan squash, and the FTR match, as well as the women's trios, as I'm trying to catch up; but the Shibata Caster match isn't as fun as some of the other open challenges, Hechicero vs AR doesn't move me bc AR has won all of like twice in AEW, and then the Robinson Ricochet match is pretty alright but relies heavily on the interference. The main event is also good, but this is pretty much a two match show."

Shibata siegt gegen Caster in lockeren 2 Minuten. Mein MOTN ist der Main Event. Das war ein gutes Trios Match. LFI können hier auch mal wieder richtig zeigen was sie zu bieten habe. Sieg von Page und JetSpeed geht aber auch klar. Nettes Wrestling insgesamt."

Juice's new gimmick doesn't work. AR Fox was alright as usual. Six women tag was just bad. Skye Blue and Julia Hart couldn't communicate in the ring. I wish someone more fun had come out to challenge Max. The main event was alright. Collision was doing well for a few weeks there. Guess it was due for an average show."

[5.0] "The show started well with Fletcher's first title defense, but the other matches alternately lacked stakes, suspense, quality, or even a bit of all three. This too often gives the impression that these episodes are nothing more than filler. No memorable angles outside of the matches, but a few interesting segments promoting Fletcher, Max Caster, and the seemingly imminent return of Harley Cameron. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Non-match angles and segments: 0.75/3. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 5.25/10. Show seen on AEW Plus."

[6.0] "A perfectly fine episode of collision with one hell of an opener that really should've main evented if it wasn't for the fact that the hometown boy is the champ. Lots of matches of good quality that didn't really capture the crowds attention but I got a decent amount of enjoyment out of them. Couple squash matches that were building to bigger fueds. If the Opps' next challengers for the trios belts are gonna be LFI I hope they don't go over because they were rough as guts in the main event which gave me flashbacks to when they took on Swerve and Ospreay ahead of All In. LFI seems to be playing mega heels by giving every big babyface in the company a mid match on their record. Still not the worst match on the card as the women's division continues to disappoint with a mess of a multi man match. Honestly if it wasn't for Fletcher and Ishii this episode would be a solid 5/10 but they carried the show just out of mediocrity with their insane rematch from this time last year"

[6.0] "An enjoyable enough episode with a great opener between Fletcher and Ishii and a fun six man main event bookending a selection of matches that were OK at best. The crowd were up for it, especially Hangman's appearance, and there looked to be more in attendance than there were at Dynamite, which continues to feature the key storylines. Collision is very much the B show for AEW, giving the rest of the roster a run out. However, as consistent as it is when it comes to in-ring action, it's not essential viewing every week."

[8.0] "Collision opens with The TNT champion The Protostar Kyle Fletcher defending his belt against Ishii. This fucking rocked what an opener for the night. Then we get a post match promo from Kyle were he talks about how will he face at forbidden door and he calls out the pound for pound best that NJPW has to offer. Then we cut to Don backstage and ask NJPW to send them to Cincinnati for a face to face. Then the announce a match for collision next week between Lee moriarty, Daniel Garcia, Hechicero and Nigel with the winner getting to face ZSJ at FD. We then cut to Ricochet and the GOA laying out people backstage with Ricochet saying if they don't give it to them they will take it. We then get a backstage segment from the matriarchy explaining the attack on Christian last week. We then get a Megan Bayne squash match (pretty pointless). We then get a backstage segment from Big bill and Bryan Keith about how they are gonna get Juice after how he knocked them out the Tag tournament. We then go straight into juice vs Ricochet (Cardblade spotted Big W). This was a pretty standard TV match with some nice story progression with the interference in the finish. We then get a video package for the women's world title match at FD. We then get a promo from the best wrestler alive Max Caster and he is the best wrestler alive. We then get FTR and Big Stoke in a trios squash matches before Cope vs Stoke on dynamite. Pretty standard Trios squash with Big Stoke getting the pin. We then get a VT recapping the story between Darby and the Death riders ahead of FD. We then get Daniel Garcia on the call for a match between Hechicero and AR Fox (why is he getting a jobber entrance). Another standard tv match to further the story of the 4 way for a shot at the IWGP belt at forbidden door with Hechicero getting the win. We then got a Video package for Anthony Bowens about his bulging animosity with Billy Gunn (Can he just get off my TV). We then get a vignette teasing a return for Harley Cameron. As we go into the trios match between The triangle of madness against Willow, Aminata and Tay. A pretty solid trios Tv match between the women that will hopefully be in a blood and guts match. Then we get a sky flight promo against the DCF (I don't care). We then get an FTR and Stoke promo on Cope ahead of the match next week and how Stoke will make cope his hoe. Then FTR will focus on the things that matter and that is winning the Tag Titles. We then get the Max caster open challenge which is answered by Shibata who squashes him in two minutes. LFI then attack both men and Jetspeed come out weapons in hand to make the save ahead of the main event. The main event then happens LFI vs Hangman and Jetspeed. A great main event to close out a solid show. A solid episode of collision with some nice build for two More matches at forbidden door and a great opener and main event. I will say whilst Paul Walter Hauser was actually really good on comms and very knowledgeable, it just did not fit the normal vibe Nigel and Tony have and was a bit awkward at times. MOTN: Fletcher vs Ishii. WOTN: Kyle Fletcher"

[6.0] "A pretty solid Collision. The wrestling here was fairly decent with both Kyle/Ishii and the main event being worth a watch. Most of the other matches were pretty solid too with both Ricochet/Juice and Fox/Hechicero having their moments and the FTR/Stokely squash match featuring a great performance from Stokely. There's not much in the way of storyline progression on this show, at least not the storylines that I'm interested in anyway. The only things in terms of announcements that caught my attention here were Fletcher calling out anyone on the New Japan roster for a match at FD, which I'm hoping won't end up being some shitter like Shota Umino or El Phantasmo. I would love for him to wrestle someone good like a Yuya or an Oiwa but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. They also announced a 4 way next week for a shot at the IWGP Title at FD which looks sick. Nigel is in the match so I can only assume he's winning it but I wouldn't really be too fussed if one of the other guys in the match won either. Overall, this was a pretty solid two hours of wrestling, featuring a good opener and main event. MOTN - Adam Page & JetSpeed vs. La Facción Ingobernable"

"1) Does anyone have any idea why out of all NJPW wrestlers it's always Tomohiro Ishii who gets called up to take part in some random match on AEW TV? As for someone who lives and works in Japan, he suspiciously often can be seen wrestling on American soil. No way he flies back and forth across the globe just to have a forgettable 10-minute match on Collision. 2) I knew that voice sounded familiar! Fluffy in da house! 3) Max Caster slowly but surely is getting over! The face turn is imminent! I'm telling you, something great is brewing here. Max has everything to be a major player in AEW by the end of the year. 4) There are three things that are certain: death, taxes, and AR Fox losing a match at Collision."

[3.0] "I know it's a small sample size but I'm baffled by the high praise these Collision shows are getting. The opening and the main was solid but I fail to see what exactly this episode or a lot of the recent episodes of Collision bring to table really ... It's really feeling more and more like a late stage Rampage episode with an extra hour. They were really trying with Collision early this year and I praised them for it but this show is becoming a total waste of time as of late. Nothing important is happening and there is a concerning lack of star power, even when stars show up, it's to do meaningless and forgettable stuff. How the hell do you have a roster that is at this level of quality and you can't be bothered to ask most of them to work the effin saturdays is beyond stupid. At least they could use Collision to supplement their flagship show but they can't even do that. Collision just exist in its own irrelevant midcard universe now with barely any effort put together to make it worthwhile watching. Same people having same matches every week with the same old tired structure."

[5.0] "The opener wasn't so bad. The main event isn't my style of match but that was okay enough even if it felt like it didn't matter. Everything between was boring. This Ricochet faction has killed what Ricochet had going for him. That's not even a knock against the Gates of Agony, who have potential to be interesting now that they're AEW regulars, it's just that once you enter three-man stable territory in AEW, you're in trouble even as a singles wrestler. Coming to think of it, which AEW stables have actually gotten someone over? It has to be a small number. There was a funny moment in the FTR match where Zukko got his hot tag completely shot down. Other than that, most of this card is forgettable. I don't understand why AEW is coasting so much recently. At the very least we've seen less gigantic tags recently and that's a positive change. Right now it doesn't feel like this Hangman title run has hit the ground running."

[8.0] "Probably my favorite Ishii match in AEW to kickoff the show, as Kyle Fletcher (the fastest rising star in wrestling) successfully defends his TNT title. Megan Bayne continues to stack wins, and I love it. Ricochet goes over on Juice, and then FTR with Big Stoke chalk up a win. Hechicero and AR Fox was fine, but not as enjoyable as the Triangle of Madness earning another win over Willow! Adam Page and his partners knock off LFI in front of Hanger's hometown. Solid night of wrestling, thank you TK."

"Fletcher delivers again with in my opinion another best-of-Collision match I think he has improved a lot over the years. His moves are impactful his powerbomb against Ishii looked brutal. It seems like he has also bulked up. So he has come a long way. Ishii also did quite well himself. The rest of the show it was fine enough. Hechicero's theme is particularly good. Willow seems to be underutilized I think she easily has potential for some championship reigns. Hangman looked like a leader in his home state he had big reception."

[7.0] "Solid Collision. Started with a great TNT Championship match where a saw a glimpse of G1 Climax 2018's Ishii! And Kyle Fletcher is really a breakout star! The show ended with a satisfying babyface vs heel trio, exciting match with a hot crowd for the hometown heroes Hangman Page! But all the stuff in the middle was just alright, my biggest problem is the lack of compelling stories with the Women's midcard division, like we really don't need to see Megan Bayne's squash matches anymore, AEW could do way better than this because the talents are here."

[6.0] "Fun episode but if you skipped it you wouldn't be missing much. Ishii is a filler wrestler in AEW that I'm kind of sick of seeing, he has no substance or character, has never won a big match. Ricochet vs. Juice is kind of an odd feud because neither guy should really be losing, match wasn't much of anything. Bayne and FTR squash matches, feel like you could've just had a signficant second women's match on the show. Ideally with a story, Bayne just feels like she's treading water right now. Honestly the entire women's division aside from Toni and Athena feel like it's just doing the same thing over and over. Main event with Hangman was the best thing on the show."

Hechicero vs AR Fox was a real surprise and a treat."
