| 16 | 21.11.2024 | Sandmann | 7.0 | Wrestlerisch wieder eine gute Ausgabe von Collision mit einigen interessanten Paarungen. Im Opener macht das HOB zum Glück kurzen Prozeß mit den Savages. Genauso sollte es sein. Danach qualifizieren sich die Outrunners unter großem Jubel für das Tag Team Titelmatch bei Full Gear. Das war wrestlerisch ok und lebte vor allem von der Crowd die hier die Runners unbedingt siegen sehen wollte. Das war schon gut. Strong gegen Mortos war ein gutes Match. Die beiden können das natürlich noch besser aber für die knappen 10 Minuten war das schon ok. Sieg für Statlander war halt da. Perry gegen Andretti war gut. Gutes Wrestling, Charakterentwicklung bei Andretti. Das passte schon sehr gut. Wayne gegen Fox war gut. Schönes Match mit Hintergrundstory und anständigem Wrestling. Hat mir gut gefallen. MOTN ist für mich der Main Event. Das war ein gutes Trios Titelmatch. Richtig gutes Wrestling. Die Conglomeration hält hier super dagegen und so ist das spannend und der Titelwechsel liegt ab und zu im Bereich des Machbaren bis Mox auftaucht und auf der Gegenseite dann Cassidy. Dann nur noch Chaos. Hat mir gefallen. |

All participants were entertaining. Then SMH, we kill Beast Mortos' momentum with a loss to Roderick Strong. C'mon TK. Kris Stat with a squash match, then Jack Perry and Action Andretti had a good match. I actually prefer Perry in these types of matches as opposed to a hardcore match. Match of the night was between Nick Wayne and AR Fox. Death Riders whoop the meaningless Conglomeration in the main event. |

Most matches were methodical and slow, nothing of real importance happened, and Mortos is looking more and more like a ridiculous comedy character with all of these emoting/grunting segments and "internal conflict" over beating up a guy he was barely even involved with. Just a very slow episode with little crowd engagement, as evidenced by the dubbed in crowd noise when Nick Wayne stapled the picture to Fox's head. |

Zudem macht man Perry vs. Daniel Garcia fix nach einem netten Match gegen Action und man bringt die Outrunners in Position für den PPV. Eayne vs. Fox war noch ganz nett und der Rest solide. |

That match should have been scrapped to either give us a second women's match or at least one women's match. The two marque matches for me on paper - Roddy vs. Mortos and main event - never got to the level they should have with the workers involved, especially the time length that the main event got. Alas, we had two squashes that largely accomplished nothing except set up a post-match segment, which both could have been achieved in pro practical ways instead of wasting our time with two pointless matches. |

House Of Black squash was alright. Outrunners vs. Top Flight was fine. Strong vs. Mortos was fine although disappointing. I really liked both Mariah May and Anna Jay's promos. Very hyped for the NO DQ. Julia Hart's package was one of the best AEW has produced all year. Mercedes Mone attacked Krist Statlander after she had a match. The build-up for this match has been dreadful but I know the match will slap anyway. Perry vs. Andretti was fine albeit heatless. Good promo by Daniel Garcia afterwards. A lot of people are sleeping on this feud but it has lowkey been one of the best build-ups to Full Gear. Wayne vs. Fox was good. Wayne attacking Fox with the staple gun in the post-match was wild. Death Riders vs. Conglomeration was the best match of the night. Chaotic and fun. Overall: outside of Garcia's promo and the main event there's nothing really worth watching but the 2 hours of runtime flew by and the episode was enjoyable. |

Roderick Strong and Beast Mortos didn't click with me. The ONLY women's match went less than a minute and only happened for a after match beat down from Mercedes that could've just been a segment. Jack Perry vs Andretti is a match I will only ever remember because of the Peter cosplayer in the crowd being shown on camera and trash talking with Perry. Andretti trying to lean more into aggression and heelish tendancies is a good idea and could be interesting, but only if he starts winning. Nick Wayne vs AR Fox was fine because both men are super talented. But I was not a fan of the creative with it and I personally find the Patriarchy a annoying group surronding the super funny and great Christian Cage. And then the main event was exactly what you would expect. A very very good and chaotic match but also a match that is just all the same spots and moments as any other trios match. People having signature spots in matches can be good, but it just dillutes it a lot of the time. The video or backstage segments were all whatever, except I absolutely loved the Julia Hart video package. That was so amazing and so well done. Massive fan. And MXM are always funny to watch, but I wish they would do more and have more of a focus. |

Einige Interviews und promos sorgen für sinnvolle storyline Entwicklungen. Der Main Event war zudem wirklich gut und fügt sich sinnvoll in die Deathriders story ein. Die restlichen matches waren sehenswert aber teilweise etwas zu kurz. Lieber zukünftig ein Match weniger auf die card und dem Rest mehr Zeit geben. |

AR Fox vs Nick Wayne was great, I like Wayne wrestling more and more on TV and I want to see him in the Continental Classic. Roderick Strong vs Beast Mortos and the main event were pretty good matches too. I think they have done a good job recently of rehabbing the tag team division, even if I don't like the 4 way at FG idea but a contender series is a start way to highlight your current tag teams. HOWEVER There's a big gripe I have with AEW currently and that is backstage segments being interrupted by people out of nowhere, The Acclaimed/Hurt Syndicate stuff was good but why did Lashley and co appear out of thin air? Where they just camping there? Save interruptions for in-ring segments and if you want to do backstage interruptions, there are ways to be smart about it and do it creatively and logically. It's just 2010s WWE stuff that belongs there and shouldn't be on AEW TV, which btw the Christian "MITB" gimmick needs to be thrown in the garbage asap. |
