[6.0] "I mean it's hard to deny the quality loss we have seen with RAW moving to two hours in the mean-time before going to Netflix. 2 hours just feels too short for certain matches and stories to take place. We had some moments like the opening segment with Punk and Rollins. Zoey Stark getting a shocking win and moving more into the tournament and the War Raiders winning the Tag Team Championship. It still feels weird that RAW was on 2 hours at this point because some things felt shorter than it needed to be. [***1/4]"
[7.0] "Though there were only three matches, at least two of them were of higher quality compared to some of the filler bouts in recent episodes of RAW. Additionally, the progression of storylines was genuinely intriguing. As a lead-up to the Netflix era, this episode served as a solid and promising foundation."
[6.0] "Barely making the 6 mark because of some interesting segments, a much needed title change, an impressive and surprising performance by Kayden Carter and a pretty good Intercontinental Title match with a great booking of both wrestlers involved, but the show was another example of WWE not being able of using 2 hours the right way and trying to fit way too much content in less time, and one of those contents not even being featuring your damn World Champion, which I think it's the worst part of Gunther nowadays, the fact that he's the World Champion and he is not the biggest deal on the show. 3 matches for 2 hours is so laughably bad. If at least those matches were really good, but just one of them is quite good for TV standards, one of them is a bit overrated, and the other one, while having some good things, it just doesn't reach an acceptable level of interest. CM Punk and Seth Rollins opening segment was so-so. It's one of the worst CM Punk's promos I've ever seen, full of his typical double-standards and crowd ass licking and lame insults such as mocking Seth for dressing like Elton John and Liberace but then saying it's nothing wrong with them, while at least Seth came out with nothing but truths and Punk ended up being portrayed as a thin skinned diva that gets triggered at the fact that Rollins got WrestleMania main events and he doesn't. I liked Seth and Drew McIntyre's confrontation on backstage as not only teases a possible (and I believe it's a matter of time) alliance between the two, as they both have the same common rivals and grudges, but as of now Seth still doesn't like Drew and he considers Jey and Sami friends. Bron vs Ludwig Kaiser was the best match of the night, a good example on how to book a TV match, and how to book two wrestlers in victory and defeat, also making one of them look as both a million dollar beast while showcasing some human weaknesses and not treating him like and invincible god, with the loser just coming reinforced from defeat as he took the champion to the limit and played his strategy really well, all while both men delivered a cool in-ring performance. The Rhea vs Liv feud just still happens because it draws the stans and casuals, but it's just a big pile of mid crap nowadays. Really poor segment here. Zoey Stark keeps having Triple H's trust and advances in the Intercontinental Title tournament. The problem with her keeps being the same, she is really solid as a worker but really poor as a character and PFC is just dragging her more and more into boredom hell. The true MVP of the match was Kayden Carter, who maximized her TV minutes here and truly pushed forward with her performance, showing some creative and cool looking offense, dynamic pacing and a really good singles level. Both her and Katana have been truly underrated as a team, and they may have something in store as single competitors. I want to see more or Kayden for sure. New Day's segments here weren't as powerful or meaningful as these past weeks, but the moment with Rey Mysterio kicking them out of the locker room keeps developing the disdain everyone has against Woods and Kofi now in a very effective way. It looks like Chad Gable is going to finally clash with Otis after so many months. If it's the final feud for Gable before a much needed restart for him, then I'm all in for it. It's what needed to happen at its time. I don't know if Kairi Sane is legit injured, but if that's not the reason for taking her out of the tournament then that's complete bullshit. Io Shirai is bounded for bigger things and Kairi heavily needed some individual exposure to improve her performance and stay out of Io's shadow. Tag Titles match wasn't as good as you guys claim. It's a match that starts quite basic and keeps improving, has a nice flow to it and some nice work (specially JD's selling, magnificent), but these four men can deliver so, so much more than that. At least now the titles are on a team that can just focus on them and opens the door to a resurrection of the RAW tag division. On the other hand, we keep having the boring Priest vs Bálor feud open. Its not going to change a damn thing, Priest is going to smoke Bálor again, why keeping that shit open? Just end it already and move on with the Judgment Day internal war. That stable without Edge, Rhea and Priest has completely lost its purpose. Edge wanted to bring out the potential of Rhea and Priest and he did it even if he got betrayed by them. Purpose completed. Liv, Dom and Raquel are always on their own and they clearly don't have a strong bond with the rest of the crew, while Carlito and JD are just used as jobbers for whoever is facing them. Some good things in the show, but mainly another rushed execution."
[7.0] "1) They literally just replicated the New Day segments from the last Raw. Btw, it's strange to see wrestlers looking for a locker room to change in, when they don't even have a match to wrestle. 2) I finally understood why WWE decided to split Ludwig and Gunther - because of the imminent face turn of the later. Of course there would be no way for a face Gunther to co-exist with a dastardly heelish Kaiser. I think it's only a matter of time before they change someone's entrance theme and stop mentioning "Imperium" in the graphics at least for one of them. 3) I didn't expect Seth Rollins vs CM Punk match to happen so soon. Kinda feels rushed, tbh. But hey, what else can they tell in this story? There isn't much meat on this bone, anyway. 4) Wait, this show had only 3 matches? I didn't even notice. 5) Don't you find it strange that two times when there was supposed to be a backstage interview, some kind of accident happened nearby, just so the cameraman could film it. What a coincedence, huh..."
[7.0] "With only 3 matches and a of promo this show really needed to hit a hattrick. Unfortunately the entire middle part of the show was nothing to write home about and it struggled keeping my attention. It really does get saved by a great opening and ending."
[8.0] "This was a good episode of Raw. It shockingly only had three matches, but two of them went longer than 15 minutes. The opening segment with CM Punk and Seth Rollins was amazing. This feud is really cooking. There were two solid title matches on the show too."
[8.0] "Two very good matches and a sub-par triple threat. The War Machine winning was such a feel-good moment however I feel it was Kaiser/Bron that was match of the night without a shadow of a doubt. While War Machine was such a heartwarming feel-good moment, I felt the content in the opener was better. War Machine's emotional vignette managed to make me a believer as it successfully pulled on the emotional heartstrings. All the segments were complete hits and no miss. Seth/Punk/Drew was awesome, the card for the debut Netflix episode is shaping up to be a banger. Even the lower card stuff is spectacular with the Miz and FT and New Day being rejected by everyone after turning heel as well as Rhea taking shots on Dom. A-grade show nearly an A+."
[8.0] "This episode of RAW was quite solid and there were progressions for storylines for RAW heading onto Netflix, a couple of really good matches and one okay match made this an enjoyable episode of RAW that was a breeze to watch. Bron Breakker vs Ludwig Kaiser: Their best singles match to date, they had an engaging war to open RAW which was physical as expected and Bron obviously being in pain with his shoulder still did quite well against the very game Kaiser [****1/4]. Zoey Stark vs Kayden Carter vs Raquel Rodriguez: It was one of the better tournament matches for the Women's Intercontinental Title, the match was fine in itself, Stark winning was okay but would like to have seen Carter win [**1/4]. Erik & Ivar vs Finn Balor & JD McDonagh: Erik and Ivar becoming the new tag team champions was the right call on the part of Triple H, the match was really well worked and one of the better tag title matches within the year of 2024 on weekly TV and the reign of the Judgement Day, definitely recommend it to anyone who has not watched it [****1/4]"
[6.0] "A rather pleasant episode, but we feel that the 2H episode format is starting to become complicated for HHH. We're just waiting for RAW to arrive on Netflix to regain some interest, because right now it's complicated."
[7.0] "A solid episode of Raw with a mix of good in-ring action and engaging backstage segments. The longer matches stood out, making up for the lighter card, and they each delivered in their own way. The build toward the Netflix debut is clearly ramping up, with some exciting setups that have fans eager for what's next."
[8.0] "I thought this episode of RAW was very good and progressed lots of stories going into RAW on Netflix. The opening segment with Punk & Rollins was very good. First match being Breakker Vs Ludwig was a really good match and showcased how good Ludwig is. The main event match was good and the crowing of new tag champions in War Raiders who absolutely deserve it. Overall good episode of RAW."
[4.0] "Great promo to start with Seth and Punk both going off. The Born Breaker match was a little slow but we did get to see some explosive stuff from the man. The Liv and Rhea drama played out some more (kinda getting stale). The women's triple threat had some innovative moves in it but still wasn't anything special. The main event wasn't weak, but it wasn't that exciting either, despite the title change. Only three matches on this show. Most of the show is just reminding us who's on it, with nothing really progressing aside from Seth and Punk getting a match booked in a few weeks."
[2.0] "WWE has this incredibly annoying trend with the weekly product recently where either the promo work is excellent but the wrestling is nothing to write home about (such as the New Day's 10th Anniversary Raw), or the wrestling is fine but the promos stink to high heaven. And dear god, the promos tonight seem like they were written to piss me off specifically. Not only did we get a return to Cheap Homophobia for Heat as happens concerningly often in a Rollins program - in the middle of a promo so cringeworthy that it makes Sufferin' Succotash look like Oscar-winning writing - but WWE keep insisting on not only shoving the frankly awful chicken tendies feud down our throats, but making chicken tendies themselves the new CM Punk Friendship Bracelet. This shit might go hard on mute, but if you have to mute the TV to enjoy something, then even giving us Meltzer's wet dreams in the ring won't be enough to get a good enough rating."
[9.0] "I enjoyed every second of this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. The start of the show they started it off hot with CM Punk and Seth "Freakin" Rollins. They traded some voices and then a brawl ensued and I loved the brawl it was intense and shows how much they truly hate one and another. The Intercontinental Championship Match was very fun Ludwig Kaiser had an outstanding showing in this match. Him and Bron Breakker have a lot of chemistry with each other but at the end Bron Breakker retained in a very good title defense. Adam Pearce announced that at January 6th when RAW moves to Netflix it's gonna be CM Punk vs. Seth "Freakin" Rollins. Zoey Starks punched her ticket to the next round of the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament where now she'll be facing Dakota Kai in a few weeks. Rhea Ripley confronted Liv Morgan again, I really hope on the Netflix Debut of RAW I hope that's where the feud ends at. Chad Gable reignited his feud with Alpha Academy and will be facing Akira Tozawa on next week episode of Monday Night RAW. The Main Event we saw The War Raiders become a 2x WWE Tag Team Champions. A very good moment as both men came back from nearly career ending injuries and now will lead the RAW Tag Division into the next year very happy for Erik & Ivar. This was a very fun episode and can't wait to see how next week episode goes."
[7.0] "Just three matches this week, likely because this was a double taping, so two of them got a lot of time, and delivered in their own ways. We also got CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins for the Netflix debut, yes they're really stacking that show up, and for good reason. Only two episodes to go on USA, will feel weird not being on that channel having been on there for all but five years of the show's run."
