812.10.2024DarkPrince6.0Eine Durchweg Solide Smackdown Ausgabe.

1417.09.2024BioSector7.0My first live show in over 30 years, and I had a great time. There were a lot of dark matches, Indi Hartwell VS Piper Niven started it off, and they taped a women's Speed match between Naomi and Blair Davenport before the show kicked off. Bayley and Tiff put on a fun match. The squash was pretty funny to see, the ref had enough of Vinci lol. The surprise triple threat was fun, and bringing out a Florida Panthers jersey really brought the heat. Good to see Chelsea get a win, even if the match was a little silly looking at times. The 8 way tag match had some good spots, and the crowd hit 95-100db a couple times. After they went off the air, we got Dirty Dom VS Kofi Kingston (was supposed to be a 3 on 3 match with New Day and Odyssey Jones vs Dom/Carlito/JD...) that you could tell the two of them were having fun with. Finally, Bron VS Sami for the IC in an 'Edmonton Street Fight' that was a lot of fun to watch, even if we knew what the outcome was going to be. After, Sami talked about how great it would have been to win the IC in Canada, and KO came out to get us all cheering about being Canadian and they hugged to finish the night. I was sitting in the section across from the hard cam and saw myself a few times on the big screen. Going to watch the broadcast now and see how it compares.

2111.09.2024Will Morris4.0pretty uneventful show, the solo cody stuff is still boring but i am looking forward to a cody vs fatu match. the bayley vs tiffany match was pretty fine but then vinci lost in 3 seconds which is an interesting call. then there was more filler that we see every week before the la night promo which shows the future of the us title division. the main event was pretty fun and the end shot was good

2311.09.2024xXRoiDeCoeurXx4.0Theory's humiliation, with Kevin Owens taking instead of giving as usual! Even in handicap the guy only wants to dominate, he didn't leave a single spot to Theory during the 1v1, it's an absolute monstrosity! At the very least, you have to use your best people well, and it turns out that SmackDown's best people are not being used at all well, whether it's Orton, Reigns or Cody, especially when you compare them to Raw's best people.
2411.09.2024ejr63097.0Good finale on FOX, overall, nothing really crazy, some really insane booking decisions like Gio losing in 5 seconds, but nothing too much.

2710.09.2024WAKA Flockanoku4.0This show just never gathered my interest.Nothing on it was outright bad, but it just felt very mediocre and uninteresting. Giovanni Vinci losing his re-debut in 4 seconds was really funny though. I'm not sure what the end-goal is with that, but I laughed at it actually happening when I was thinking about how funny it would be if they actually did it. [MOTN: The Street Profits & #DIY vs. The Bloodline]

3509.09.2024PR6.0Solid show following the last PLE. With the season premiere on USA Network looming next week they did not want to go to crazy with the show and absolutely did it's job setting up the show next week. Stories and matches were fine enough, some interesting developments (e.g. Vincis Re-Debut not being the same old Squash victory but his cockyness being his undoing).
3609.09.2024KOAC5.0I have incredibly mixed feelings about this edition of SmackDown, and hilariously it has little to do with the episode itself. The opening segment with Cody and the Bloodline was actually very good, some of the best promo work of the feud, and that goes for a lot of the programming on this particular edition of SmackDown both in and out of the ring. On paper, this is a solid 6, maybe even 7 out of 10. So why have I not given it that score? Well, as a few fellow inmates have pointed out, SmackDown just does not have a lot going on right now. It does not feel like there is enough movement, freshness, or innovation on the blue brand. And that is not a new occurrence -- this feels like I am still watching SmackDown pre-SummerSlam, which was over a month ago. And just when we think we are finally getting some new movement for our Friday night viewing pleasure, it gets taken away from us in four frickin'-frackin' seconds. This was a perfectly decent episode of SmackDown, but "perfectly decent" is becoming a liability for this show and I hope that there is more to come that will actually excite and scintillate the viewing public. It has been a long time coming, and with every passing Friday, the pressure builds for something to pay off on this show, and there is only so much time before the bubble bursts.
3709.09.2024robbyplaha4.0This was the final episode with SmackDown being on FOX programming, and I'm glad this era is over. SmackDown had it ups and downs but in the FOX Era there was more moments that fans want to forget like Kofi Kingston losing in nine seconds and moving back to the tag division, Roman Reigns dog food segment, with a dog dressing up as Roman Reigns, the Roman Reigns, and Baron Corbin storyline, and lastly because I can't list everything but Cody Rhodes giving up his Royal Rumble win to The Rock which was one of the worst moments which led to backlash, and to WWE pivoting the plans again for WrestleMania because of the fan outrage. But now onto the episode all the five matches were mediocre at best. Bayley vs. Tiffany Stratton was probably the match of the night, then we saw Giovanni Vinci get beaten in three seconds to Apollo Crews which led to fans being mad on social media, and reports were made that even WWE Creative were displeased by the booking of Giovanni Vinci re - debut back on WWE Television after weeks of hyping him up. The Triple Threat Match involving Kevin Owens, and A - Town Down Under was okay the crowd was hot for this match, and tension still growing between partners Austin Theory, and Grayson Waller but Kevin Owens got the victory. Chelsea Green got a shocking victory over Michin from the help of Piper Niven. The Main Event we saw The Bloodline reign supreme beating DIY, and The Street Profits in an Eight - Man Tag Team Match. Next week on SmackDown on USA Network it's looking pretty solid with Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade for the fifth time as the series is tied at 2 - 2, Kevin Owens & a mystery partner take on A - Town Down Under in a Tag Team Match, and Cody Rhodes is defending his WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match. I really hope now with WWE on FOX is over we can see SmackDown finally be an enjoyable weekly show like how RAW, and NXT is.
3809.09.2024Dissmaster19978.0Bardzo dobre SmackDown na pozegnanie Foxa. Znakomity Main Event i Triple Threat Match. Bayley/Stratton to materia na PPV i to tu udowodniy. Dobra walka. Squash Vinciego zabawny, ale mam nadzieje, ze nie zrobia z niego smiesznego jobbera typu Ellsworth, bo chop ma potencja na mocnego mid cardera. No i najlepszy moment gali to ofc Cody rzucajacy wyzwanie Jacobowi.

5108.09.2024Frank Shooter6.0This week in WWE looked like Vince McMahon came back to take charge of everything. A lot of weird and whack stuff happened on both shows that are not on the line of what Triple H has been doing for the past 2 years. With that said, this SmackDown show featured some pros that were so good that kinda makes you forgive the horrible cons (not Giovanni Vinci jobbing in his debut. That was plain stupid. Why would you hype a wrestler with such great physique and presence, a wealthy and stylish man, a man of success, to lose in his first match like that? And why taking away his NXT theme and entrance if you're going with the same gimmick? Nothing makes sense here). Much like Zelina Vega vs Shayna Baszler on RAW, who TF cares about a Chelsea Green vs Mia Yim match? At least Chelsea won and the work wasn't horrible, but it didn't offer anything interesting at all. I don't like how the Tiffany and Nia story is being developed. I prefer it was a more subtle thing and they're not going full throttle with it making obvious Tiff will cash in on Nia. I'm not hyped at all about a Bayley vs Nia rematch, just don't care. The Triple Threat match was a cool concept for the A-Town Down Under story, but the first half of the match was simply booked horrible, with KO dominating both men with such ease. Second half was better. Thank god the Steel Cage match is being done next week and not on PPV. I understand Solo challenging Cody at SummerSlam because of Roman returning, but I don't want to see that match filling a spot of a 5 match PPV ever again, but it's a good main event for an special edition of a weekly show. Also, how stupid it is that WWE GM's believe a Steel Cage would prevent an interference when basically any of the last that happened featured an interference? Wouldn't make more sense to ban the Bloodline from ringside? I understand a Steel Cage sounds more spectacular, but that justification is just lame. One thing I loved about the opening segment and it was something I freaked out when I saw it was something I imagined that would be so cool for Cody to do and it happened just like I imagined. Cody speaking to Solo about how damn good he is and how much does he deserve a title shot, just to then look right to Jacob Fatu and say he was actually talking to him. THAT SHIT ROCKED, and unfortunately this is not the time for it to happen (or why not? It would rock for sure at Bad Blood), but the story is Solo taking away all the spotlight Jacob is gaining for him. Speaking of the Bloodline, that main event was so damn cool. All men cooked hard right there and it was such a beautiful chaotic spectacle. The other thing I loved in this show was the LA Knight, Melo and Andrade segment. It was the most organic thing to do with those three and a great way to elevate the US Title. After rocking the midcard scene for nearly two months, it was appropiate that both men are seeking the midcard title. Andrade has been doing really good as of late, but I would prefer that Melo got his individual shot at the title in a feud with LA Knight and keep building him as a future star, if someone has to be put over in this feud. The Triple Threat solution to benefit both men sound like an easy and lame outcome, if they're thinking about that. A show with some very good things and some other irrelevant or plain bad.

5308.09.2024BigReedus7.0A massive pox on whoever's idea it was to bury Vinci like that right away. I hope it's part of some bigger plan for that dude. Anyway, Cody calling out Fatu was a legit moment. WWE is clearly invested in pushing that guy as a star soon. The US title segment worked really well. Andrade and Melo still want to murder each other and now it seems their rivalry has the added stakes of challenging LA Knight for the championship. Knight cooked on the mic, water is wet. Nice to see Chelsea Green get a win, too. They respected Michin by having it be because of a Niven cheap shot, but Green also made it look convincing. Also helps give her some cred before Giulia next week. Good character touches in the DIY and Street Profits interview - they're not friends, they're still fighting over the same titles, but the enemy of my enemy is my ally and all that jazz. Pretty good SmackDown that has a number of good feuds cooking right now.

5608.09.2024Dundead7.0I thought this show was pretty solid. I dont watch smackdown or raw every week, but I do watch from time to time. Smackdown has kinda sucked from throughout the summer even with roman return at Summerslam and making some appearances, but this did kind of exceed my low expectations. Bayley/Tiffany and the KO/Waller/theory triple threat was pretty good, the 8 man tag main even was a fun one. The opening segment was good enough with Cody and bloodline 2.0 and LA Knight segment was meh I guess. I dont know what to expect from Vincis new character when he lost in 3 seconds to someone like crews. I guess this marks the last smackdown for Fox unless they do come back to it in the future and it definitely could have been worse.

7007.09.2024Thescaredshadow6.0Yep, that way definitely one of the Smackdowns of all time. For what was the final episode on Fox, I kinda expected more. Like it should of given a reason for people to want to keep watching SD when it moves to USA next week. The highlight of the episode was definitely the handicap match between KO and Waller/Theory. It finally clicked, why Solo isn't working. I don't outright hate him like a lot of people do, but I finally realized the problem with his character. He comes off less like an unstoppable badass and more like a spoiled, bratty child. Who the other kids only listen to, because he has an Xbox.
7107.09.2024Anoas6.0I was pretty entertained by the episode, I thought all the match were pretty fun, and I'm so surprised by the vinci situation, people complaining about him losing in 3 seconds like he's kenny omega.
7207.09.2024LadySnowblood4.0Not much going on this week on Smackdown. This was the last show on Fox, so they probably saving the better stuff for next on the new Network. Vinci losing in 4 seconds? ! Cone on.
7407.09.2024Freakin Bema6.0a fairly standard issue. But what I've noticed is that it seems like Smackdown hasn't moved anywhere for 2 or even 3 months now and it's disappointing but this edition was thankfully not tense and easy to watch, the best match of the night was Owens VS Theory VS Waller.
