The best match was the men's fatal four way , everyone showed out and looked like they intended to put on a fantastic match , great strikes and fast paced action. The worst match was Axiom vs Frazer , there was some good athletic moments , but it was stopped by a brawl at ringside which was very poorly placed. The best segment or moment was Nikkita returning , it's good to see her back even though she would get injured again even though she just returned it feels like she's injury prone. Match ratings Women's fatal four way 8/10 , Lola vs Paxley 7/10 , Alpha vs Meta four 8/10 , Axiom vs Frazer 7/10 , Tyler vs Melo vs Eddy vs Joe 8/10. |

The women's singles match was too short; Tatum & Lola should have gotten more time. Outside of Wes Lee's heartfelt super-emotional promo, which was terrific (and heartbreaking), the rest were awful, especially the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Superstars' "convention". It was amateurish and juvenile. The brawl didn't make them look better. The only good thing that came out was Nikkita Lyons' comeback. And it's not as if the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge Superstars' promo and brawl were any better. Given it was the go-home show for NXT Deadline, they should have done so much more with the talent in hand. Corbin & Dragunov's promo was okay. Honestly, with the build-up NXT did for it, I expected more. I'm curious about three things going forward: 1) Is Ava going to become NXT's GM or assistant GM? 2) What will happen with Andre Chase & Chase U? 3) And what's going on with Joe Gacy? |

The wrestling on this show was very good overall. I thought the mixed person tag between Meta Four and Alpha Academy was super fun. I popped huge when Lash Legend bodyslammed Otis like Hogan bodyslamming Andre or Luger bodyslamming Yokozuna. The one negative of this show was that Axiom vs. Nathan Frazer went to a no contest because all of the women in the iron survivor challenge match spilled out to the ring. That sucked. At least we're getting Axiom vs. Frazer on the preshow of Deadline. As far as the main event promo went, this has to be the best work of Baron Corbin's entire career. Dragunov has an intensity about him that is unlike anything I've ever seen. |
