[6.0] "The opening segement wasn't very good: Guevara, Allin and Perry are not great talkers despite showing some improvements, especially Allin. The opening tag match wasn't very good as well, both Baker and Hayter looked out of condition. Wardlow winning the TNT championship again is a bad mistake and makes the title feel like a hot potato. I'm very happy for Luchasaurus challenge but I'm afraid that we will see another title change soon and the prestige of the title kinda died. Takeshita being added to the Elite was a great moment. This whole Blackpool Combat Club/Elite angle is the best thing in Aew right now. Komander vs. White was forgettable and it was a very underwhelming debut for White, the whole feud with Starks has been pretty bad so far. I honestly skipped the Acclaimed vs. JAS because I didn't care. The main event was the best match of the night. I'm loving this Guevara/MJF friendship despite the pillars feud cooling down after a strong start."

The Four Pillars segment was really entertaining even if the outcome later on left a bit to be desired. The hometown pop for Britt Baker was exceptional, as well. I will definitely be attending another AEW event in the future, as I am now a huge fan!"

The four pillars segment at the start of the show and the Guevara MJF alliance segment were really good and added to the story. The women's tag match was alright with Baker getting the win in front of her home crowd. The Elite Promo was okay, but I expected more the brawl also left me a little bit confused how Wheeler could take all those suplexes then be completely fine a few seconds later. I enjoyed Hobbs vs Wardlow and White vs Kommander but matches had a few flaws. The Jericho v Cole build is going well, and the promos were good but the assult by the Outcast and JAS left me questioning where Lee and Hayter were. Excited for Firm Deletion but be there or be triangular would be one of the worst lines AEW had ever said if Daddy Magic did not have his own saying. Speaking of Daddy Magic, Acclaimed v JAS was just kind of the. Love the Acclaimed but can't get into this feud. Match was bad as well. I Thought the main event was really good and the finish protected both men. Overall, pretty decent show."

Ging ganz nett hin und her. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. MOTN ist der Main Event. Guevara vs. Perry. Insgesamt nettes Dynamite."

I really hope it's a work because a one vs one feels like a step backwards for this 4 man storyline. Hobbs vs Wardlow did nothing for either guy. Their first match was super entertaining up until the introduction of QT who tanked Hobbs achievement and his reign. The crowd was dead during this match, these two guys used to get monster cheers. Get Hobbs away from QT and I hope Wardlow has a better second run despite this feeling like Guevarra/Scorpio Sky all over again. Jay White needs a live mic asap."

The end of the main event may be surprising but it makes sense to do that and the 10 min of wrestling was dynamic. Jay White starts off with a good match and I don't see why it would be a big deal to throw him into the midcard. The TNT title booking may be questionable but what is done isn't insane either, Wardlow is built strong and Arn Anderson's contribution helps him even the odds against a bunch of schemers. As for the Cole/Jericho feud they were able to capitalize on the good opener and the local popularity of Britt Baker."

Liked the Cole Jericho and BCC Elite segment (even tho I'm not really feeling the Takeshita heel turn they're building to), main event was also fine. Opening segment was woeful: it's clear Jungle Boy and Sammy are not ready for a main event push, even Darby was quite down his standards. Won't even talking about TNT title situation cause it's a title in the mud. Also, why was Jay White dominated by Commander? Who are you trying to get over? To top all of this, you are making feud with fucking Shawn Spears. Jay White's arrival in AEW is genuinely one of the worst things Tony has fumbled. You managed to sign the hottest free agent in the business and you make him feud with midcarders/jobbers?"

Just whining and moaning that didn't make nor Darby, Jack and Sammy look good. The tag match had a lot of heat but Britt hot tag was really slow, the belt shot by Saraya was horrendous (please go away) and the Panama Sunrise looked awful. The TNT title scene speaks for itself. QT should disappear from TV. An actual exectuive should know when things aren't working with him on-screen. Arn and Wardlow is a cool pairing. Jay/Komander was a good match, just give Jay a mic one of the next shows. Cole/Jericho had a good back-and-forth and the beatdown of Britt got heat but 1. the acting was horrendous from Adam and Britt (Britt calling him Austin was hilarious) and AEW selling the attack as a mauling when Saraya hit Britt with weak Kendo stick shots was bad. The Acclaimed/JAS was a waste of time and I didn't like the main event. I left the BCC-Elite for last because it was an unmitigated success. The best story in AEW by far and it's a shame it is surrounded by mediocrity."

The women's tag match was a mixed bag; Toni put in another consistently strong performance but Britt's hot tag was really lacklustre, she clearly isn't used to throwing a proper lariat. Saraya's a lot of fun at ringside, at least. The Elite segment started off run-of-the-mill but Don Callis was fantastic in it. I enjoyed seeing Wardlow and Hobbs slug it out but this wasn't a particularly memorable big man match. Some fun shenanigans with Arn and Penta, at least. White-Komander was a decent midcard match; Komander's high-flying offence is a reliable crowd-pleaser and enjoyed Bullet Club getting into it with Shawn Spears on the outside. Cole and Jericho's face to face was mainly good, the promos were solid and the beatdown was a mostly effective angle, although I could have done without Britt referring to Cole as 'Austin' to try and inject some 'realness' into the situation. Acclaimed-JAS was a short and unimpressive match, but these guys are natural born entertainers and they still manage to make something basic and brief into fun viewing. Guevara-Jungle Boy had a good finish and some really great individual moves from Guevara, but it wasn't a particularly compelling match aside from that. Weak stuff, overall, but not an awful episode."

We have 5 shows to the pay per view and we need so many stories to start heating up and making progress. Fine promos from the pillars, actual matches between the pillars, continuing the build to Blood & Guts between the Elite & BCC, Takeshita being activated by Callis, I like Wardlow but that belt changes hands too often, the Jay White/Komander match slapped, Sammy & Jungleboy had some sick spots. Would've liked a lil less from the Jericho/Cole segment but they're building Cole and Britt into the top babyfaces so it's fine I guess. The Elite/BCC looked terrible. Awkward delivery, the brawling looked unrealistic to the point of silliness (Matt still doing the rolling bringing suplexes, why? ) Kenny did yolk Wheeler - that looked nasty. I tuned out and had no interest to continue watching. Bring in Ibushi already, strap the rocket to Jay... let Bryan Danielson keep doing what he is doing. Everything else in AEW is just terrible. The only segment highlight was Konosuke being added to The ELITE. Every match had issues. Jamie and Toni were off form in the opening tag. Don't mind Wardlow winning, but such a lacklustre match erased any good work they did previously, like the street fight. Main event brought the workrate and I think count-outs can be valid storytelling tools. Max Caster was on tonight. But. Britt kicks out of a belt shot + Storm Zero but a series of kendo stick shots are akin to slaughter and heartbreak. FTR wildly run fifteen feet to the right. You have four mighty pillars of the company but three of them are short and can't talk (at least Darby has an aura). Komander gets more offense than Jay White in the latter's re-debut. Overall this was probably one of the worst dynamite episodes of 2023, which, if you put it in perspective, isn't bad at all. If one of your worst shows in 4 and a half months is just ok, you're doing something right."

[8.0] "Interesting promos between the Pillars. I was very happy to see Konosuke Takeshita getting involved in this Elite/BCC feud as I thought he would, he has some type of history with Don Callis (briefly), Kenny Omega (for over a decade), Bryan Danielson (an epic match & had his back against MJF), Jon Moxley (2 epic matches), & Claudio Castagnoli (maybe the greatest recent ROH World Championship match). it does make sense to me that he does fit in with the storyline here, I look forward to him being in Anarchy in the Arena, and maybe War Games, unless Hangman will be back for War Games instead. The beatdown of Adam Cole & Britt Baker by Jericho, Garcia, & The Outcasts had me dying. It was so bad, cringey, melodramatic as hell like out of a movie when the boyfriend & girlfriend are reaching out to each other when something really bad is happening, LOOOOL. MJF & Sammy Guevara together at the end does not even surprise me. They are the Kawada & Taue out of the pillars. MJF is the top Heel (that was Kawada), Sammy is the pillar that everyone questions (that was Taue). Jungle Boy is Misawa (the heroic ACE that can do it all in the ring). Darby is Kobashi (the underdog who makes you feel his pain, agony, and his emotion as he makes his comebacks). The matches were so-so, but the story advancement of everything was great. Also, as an NJPW fan as well, "Switchblade" Jay White is not even supposed to be reppin' BULLET CLUB at all, LOL."

Not personally a fan of the Britt and Adam segment even before then, the womens match was good and so was the Jericho promo until the tail end. Absolutely the best thing from this show outside the matches which were solid was the BCC/Elite segment. Absolutely loved it. Takeshita coming out was something I have been anticipating for a bit. Callis was great as well."

Matches were mostly great too. Just an extremely entertaining Dynamite."

I enjoyed the BCC and Elite stuff, I actually enjoyed the integration of the JAS and Outcasts as well (doesnt have to be, and shouldnt be a long term thing, but it helps the womens storylines feel as important as the mens to have them intersect like this). Hate whats going on with the TNT title. Overall, a Dynamite with some low lows, but the highs werent THAT high."
