Im Main Event bin ich nicht so sicher, ob ich schon wieder die nächsten Double Champions sehen will, nachdem FTR gerade erst drei Titel parallel gehalten hatte. Aber da es mittlerweile so viele Titel gibt, kann man sich wahrscheinlich gar nicht der ganzen Gürtel erwehren. |

The main event, ZSJ/Lawlor & Ishii/Desperado stole the show through their blistering bouts whereas the saga between Romero/Volador, Rosser/Juice & SANADA/Hiromu took a major step forward. There were moments where the fans had a chance to cool down from the frenzy nature and that phase wasn't bad at all. The consistency speaks for itself when NJPW comes to the States for a special and I hope that the streak will be maintained hereafter. 8.5 out of 10 points! |

Good card throughout, with a very good main event as Aussie Open defeat two big opponent teams in the MCMG and Tanahashi & Okada to become double-champs with both the NJPW STRONG and IWGP World Tag belts. ZSJ vs. Lawlor and Ishii vs. Despy were also very good bouts, and we had some good build elsewhere, such as for the upcoming SANADA vs. Takahashi World Title bout in the J5G-LIJ tag bout, and the Rosser-Robinson match that didn't get off the ground. A good watch overall. |

Vorweg muss ich sagen, dass ich alles rund um den Bullet Club absolut schrecklich fand. Finlay vs. AR Fox war mir extrem egal und ich fand das echt boring. Gleiches gilt für die Attacke von Juice auf Rosser, was mich einfach kein wenig interessiert hat. Clark Connerst turnt dann noch zum BC, yay super geil - nicht. Eddie Edwards vs. KENTA war dann in Ordnung aber irgendwie auch zu lang. Ich hab den BC so dermaßen über. Ganz gut fand ich hingegen Zack vs. Tom Lawlor und Ishii vs. El Desperado. Richtig gut fand ich sogar den Main Event, der hat richtig Laune gemacht. Der Rest war ganz nett. |

Jet Setters, Gabriel Kidd, Mike Bailey & Volador Jr vs CHAOS, Clark Connors & The DKC: Great match to get the show out of the gate, with some cool monents, all 10 men managed to get a spot in which was good, not sure about Clark Connors turning heel but will be interested in where it will go (***3/4). AR Fox vs David Finlay: An good match where AR Fox looked great against David Finlay, great exposure for those that have never seen AR Fox, hope NJPW book him more on their shows (***). Tom Lawlor vs Zack Sabre Jr: One of the best if not the best title defense for Zack Sabre Jr, brilliant technical showcase for both men (****1/4). El Desperado vs Tomohiro Ishii: Great hard hitting match, crowd was really into it, can't wait for their next match (****1/2). LIJ vs Just 5 Guys: Great match, great preview for not 1 but 2 upcoming title matches, Kanemaru getting the win against the Jr Heavyweight champion was a surprise (****1/4). Eddie Edwards vs KENTA: Edwards and KENTA brought it to each other in a match that exceeded my expectations even with the ref bump and title belt being used like that, it is still worth a watch (****1/4). Okada & Tanahashi vs Aussie Open vs MCMG: Awesome, absolute banger of a match some crazy moments like Fletchers moonsault to the outside and in my opinion the right team won (*****) |
