[5.0] "Please show me what makes this NXT Premium Event better than an ordinary weekday edition of NXT. The good approaches in the actually important main event are undermined by time constraints and stylistic restrictions, just like the pretty air show as opener seems quite nice, but personally doesn't really pick me up either. Then there are two more or less acceptable matches in a women's division that, due to various bloodletting, no longer has the quality of the phase that experts like Bayley, Banks or Flair, Asuka, Lynch or Ripley could guarantee. And because the tag teams are also pretty screwed up, I'm afraid I have to go with labeling this show as the weakest NXT special event historically, which might be a little more obvious if they took their activities out of the manipulative stink of the Performance Center and put them to the test in front of a less influenced crowd."
[8.0] "This show gets a lot of flack for both being the death bed of NXT UK and having none of the NXT UK stars be the winners of any of the unification matches. As for the in ring product, the women's tag match was bad and the men's tag match was fine but too chaotic, but the women's triple threat was really good and both Ricochet Vs Hayes and Bate Vs Breakker were very brilliant matches. Overall NXT Worlds Collide is a really good show in spite of it's nit-picks."
[7.0] "Surprised that I am higher than consensus on this one - I think this was the first sign of NXT starting to shake off the 2.0 stink. This also contains one of my sleeper MOTYC choices, recommend it as a bit of a left-field viewing. [Hayes vs Ricochet] - 4.75 stars (Match of the Night, MOTYC). [Tag Team Title Match] - 3.25 stars. [Satomura vs Mandy vs Davenport] - 3 stars. [Katana/Kayden vs Doudrop/Nikki] - 1.75 stars (Worst of the Night). [Tyler Bate vs Bron] - 3.75 stars. Average match rating: 3.3 of 5 stars (or 6.6 of 10). Rounded to 7 for Cagematch."
[7.0] "An event clearly carried by its opener and main-event, but except the Women's Tag bout, the two others really delivered. it's two hours well invested, I had a good time. My man Bate was stellar here. Just not a fan of the fact that NXT UK was really fucked hard."
[7.0] "The opener was an extraordinary battle between two of the best aerial athletes showing who's better at their intangibles where the result was sensibly done in order to protect the challenger. The four-way tag fell all over the place in a very good way as the chaotic flow matched the competitors' style of action. Kemp's turncoat was timed right being an unexpected one and Pretty Deadly's win was convincing as they are deserved to win after a short reign. Mandy Rose astonished in her match giving her very best against two cornerstones of NXT UK in Satomura & Davenport. The women's tag was a decent attempt of bringing the same high-octane pace but felt standard yet effective. The main event was a stellar clash between both brands' top-tier champions almost equalizing each other with strong back-and-forth offense. Breakker winning was predicted from a far mile but found its way of protecting Bate as well as strengthening Breakker's stance as the 2.0 regime's top prospect. This event was a great sayonara to NXT UK - a brand that had a special beginning with incredible talent being showcased to a brand that went under the waters with zero to little chance of resurgence since the pandemic. But the stars found their place here, felt prominent after a long time and won the hearts again."
[7.0] "A nice love letter and goodbye to NXTUK, some of NXTUKs heavy hitters got a hopefully not final goodbye. I would love to see the NXTUK talent stick around atleast until NXTEUR begins."
[7.0] "We finally say goodbye to NXT UK and at this show the final defeat the beautiful British brand. NXT 2.0 wins and the tears in my eyes even more pop up. In general, the best match of the show first and last also deserves attention and praise. Otherwise, it was an ordinary and strange show where there was nothing special. I can't even imagine what the future holds for NXT."
[7.0] "A pretty good show that had its ups and downs. The opening North American Title match was good, the Women's Title unification match right in the middle of the show was good and the Men's Title unification main event was great. On the downside, the two tag team title matches were lacking, both of them hampered by bad interference spots. NXT UK ended up not winning any of the matches they were involved in, which was a little surprising, but its singles champions looked strong and set them up for potential runs in NXT. 7/10"
[7.0] "I this was a good show with two great match and a good women's match what kept it from being rated higher is that both tag matches under preformed and held the show down."
Opener ist jedoch direkt schonmal mein Match Of The Night.
[8.0] "This show was definitely elevated by the strength of both the opener and the main event which delivered two of the best matches from NXT of the year. The middle of the show sort of suffered from some overbooking most notably in both tag title matches. Mandy/Blair/Meiko was also pretty good. I was hoping for some different results but I imagine Mandy will at least hold the title until Halloween Havoc. I would have liked to see Tyler win as well but he gave Bron the best match in Bron? s short career. Fun show with an amped up crowd."
[7.0] "As a show itself it was really good. Two excellent matches, a very good triple threat and two decent but forgettable tag matches. The crowd was into it. But it left the upcoming NXT Europe brand already looking inferior with no recent NXT UK arrivals winning. I'll admit Mandy Rose impressed me here and she clearly stepped up her game, but she shouldn't have walked out as unified champion. I don't know how anyone can criticize Liv Morgan as champion while Mandy has spent nearly a year stinking out the ring in most matches (this one being an exception). Pretty Deadly is technically a UK act but have now seemingly settled in Florida. I can live with them as champs, they're talented though I wish Gallus won. While Bron wrestled the match of his career so far and he gets better each time he steps in the ring, this should've been Tyler Bate if you weren't gonna put over any of the other visitors. At least to show some respect for NXT's history in the UK. Wrestling-wise some amazing performances by the main eventers, but also Melo, Ricochet and Satomura. The other thing that hurt it was stupid overbooking in the two tag matches. At least in the men's one it prolonged the storyline they're building, but in the women's it was pointless. I accept that 2.0 is here to stay but Shawn Michaels really needs to fix the booking, drop the goofy elements and for the love god get the belt off Mandy! What's the point of NXT Europe if you don't give them at least 1 major scalp? Might as well have just limited operations to America while letting the UK indie scene rebuild itself after NXT UK swooped up the best talent, and then got hurt by Covid and Speaking Out. With so many recent UK releases at least the scene has more free agents."
[4.0] "More or less a weak show, with some bright spots and future stars being showcased, but despite all the matches being title matches, there didn't seem to be much at stake involved, with NXT UK obviously being buried as they are now defunct. The women's title match was exceptionally bad too, Breakker vs Bate & Hayes vs Ricochet were the best matches but didn't blow me away especially after last night. The main takeaway from the event was it showcased the potential of: Carmelo, Pretty Deadly & Meiko."
[7.0] "A notably weaker show than Clash At The Castle the previous night, despite every match being a title match. The biggest problems were the amount of interference finishes, and badly done ones, and that in every match apart from the mens tag the weaker wrestler or team won, as well as all the UK champions losing their belts. At least Pretty Deadly got them back, and from American holders, but it looks like NXT UK is going to be forgotten rather than celebrated, and the whole thing was slightly disappointing. The improvements that have come to Raw and the main PPVs have yet to spread to NXT, unfortunately."
[7.0] "Overall NXT Worlds Collide Review: NXT NA Title: An insane match, probably my favourite match of the weekend. The sequences throughout was so impressive. Double Cutter was a major Highlight, it really shown that Ricochet is an insane wrestler. 9/10. Tag Title Unification Match: Felt that the first 2 teams could've stayed in slightly longer but both teams were looking dominant , unique Ref Bump and Turn was good. Creed Brothers major Highlight they are a team NXT needs. Side note to Lash Legends Attire. 6/10. Womens Title Unification: All three of their Attires were so good Mandys USA inspired Attire was nice, Blairs white attire was really cute and Meikos Attire was really great. Meikos Strikes were so clean and looked brutal and her grappling was great. Meikos Kicks are some of the best kicks in the business , Mandy improved so much, her wrestling was really good, Blair had lots of really nice selling and her kicks are so good too, her Double Stomp and Knee Strikes were deadly. They are worked well together that Scorpio Rising from Meiko into double knee from Mandy was so good. Mandy winning was a fine decision. This match shown how well Mandy can work. Well Done Mandy 7/10. Womens Tag Title Match: The Athleticism from Katana was really cool, Nikki being the only woman to face for all active titles is a cool statistic, Doudrops Power is so impressive, great tag wrestling fron Nikki and Doudrop, some great moments from Katana and Kayden, it was cool to see the champions as the underdogs. Toxic Attraction coming down to make sure Nikki and Doudrop doesn't win was good as they want someone easier. It was alright it was too one sided for Katana and Kayden to win so easily. 5/10. NXT Title Unification match: As soon as this match started it felt important, both their wrestling was quite solid, Tyler Bate really shown what he is known for, The Power of Bron plus the speed, strikes and Strength of Tyler made this match great. They are both so good Tyler and Bron are both so explosive, the high flying from Tyler was insane and Brons suplexes were great, the ending with Tyler striking everywhere then going off the ropes into a spear from Bron for the win. Such a good match. 8/10 Really Good ppv: I loved the Opener, Triple Threat and the Main Event. Overall: 7/10."
[7.0] "NXT UK is officially dead, and all their stars were defeated - I don't count Pretty Deadly as they left for the main NXT several months ago. Hayes/Ricochet and Breakker/Bate were the best matches, and it was a good special, but certainly not Takeover tier."
