Guevara als Sieger ist interessant. Die In-Ring Promo von Samoa Joe war dann absolut in Ordnung, aber auch keine Offenbarung, vor allem wegen Sterling und seine Schützlinge, die nun mal tiefste Undercard sind. Dann gibt es wieder eine wirre Videopromo von Miro, die mir langsam auf die Nerven gehen. Ich hab das Gefühl der Typ nimmt 30 Videos zu Hause vor nem Greenscreen auf damit er nur alle 2 Monate für ein Match bei AEW auftauchen muss. Deeb vs. Rayne war mit 4 Minuten ziemlich kurz, dank Deeb aber passabel. Nach einem typischen Jade Cargill Interview gibt es ein etwas interessanteres Interview mit Hobbs. Und dann geht es schon zum Main Event, natürlich nicht bevor es wieder ein exzellentes Pre-Match Interview gibt. Das Match war richtig stark und ganz klar MotN. Und wieder ist es fast schade, das Harwood nicht mehr Singles Wrestler ist. Das Claudio verteidigt, war glasklar. Und so endet eine gute Ausgabe von Rampage, die natürlich nur wegen dem Main Event relevant war, der inklusive Interview und Entrances fast die Hälfte der Show eingenommen hat. |

Madison Rayne gegen Serena Deeb war belanglos. Mir ist es immer noch ein Rätsel, was Madison Rayne in einer Company macht, die All ELITE Wrestling heißt. Durchschnittlicher geht es kaum. |

Da haben beide doch mehr drauf, wenn man sich an die Matches aus dem ersten Jahr (oder zweiten) Jahr erinnert. Guevara kommt halt im Moment nicht wirklich in den Tritt und sobald Darby mit der HOB Fehde durch ist sollte er sich auch von Sting wieder etwas trennen. Wäre vielleicht eine gute Möglichkeit in Verbindung mit Muta. Deeb zerlegt danach Rayne. So soll das sein. Rayne ist 2 Stufen unter der Professorin und das zeigt man hier auch. MOTN ist klar der Main Event. Castagnoli vs. Harwood ist ein klasse Match. Harwood wird auch als Singles Wrestler funktionieren, zumindest eine zeitlang. Claudio ist eh über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Tolles Wrestling, tolles Match. Guter Abschluß der Show. |

The Miro video packages are incredibly tired and I'm ready for him to move onto something new. Hobbs' promo here was probably his best since the turn on Starks (I only wish it had been on Dynamite, on a bigger platform). Speaking of Starks, I understand they occupy different roles in the company (although they both suffered losses in squash matches this week. Still trying to figure that one out), but the fact that Tony Nese gets more TV time than Ricky Starks is criminal. Hell, the fact Josh Woods gets more TV time than Ricky Starks (and Miro and the House of Black and Ethan Page and Powerhouse Hobbs) is criminal. Again, I know AEW needs "jobbers to the stars" but it's unbelievably frustrating. I always enjoy seeing Serena Deeb in action - but would've prefered something a little longer for her. Hopefully she's being primed for a match with Toni Storm at Grand Slam. |
