Clearwater impressed me and the War Kings worked together more than I expected. Boogie getting the win was almost expected. Tyrus vs Kratos was nothing special. Just there. TV title match was intense for the time given. Both men deserve props for the action and I doubt that this over. Looking forward to more from these two. The women had an absolute banger of a match. This might have been the best Kamille match I have seen. She was a great powerhouse here. Thunder Rosa was fantastic as always. I could watch these two go at it again. Murdoch vs Adonis was pretty solid and a good title showcase. Murdoch is such a like-able face and his win was good crowd pleaser. The main event was enjoyable and told a good story. It was in no way a masterpiece or a great match, but the story told was a masterclass in getting emotions running. RIP Joseph Hudson. One of the main pillars of my return to NWA pro wrestling. |

| 9 | 13.04.2021 | DanTalksRasslin | 7.0 | The Corgan NWA suffered terribly during the pandemic, with a year-long shut down and the loss of many formerly-contracted wrestlers, as well as the sudden passing of Jocephus/Question Mark, to whom this show was dedicated, but with Back for the Attack has come out the other side with a pretty solid return to form. Very good main event with Aldis and Stevens putting on a solid grappling bout with a strong "big match" feel, with Stevens cast as a sympathetic face fighting for his fallen friend. Murdoch vs. Adonis and Pope vs. Latimer were also fine enough matches. Kamille vs. Rosa was OK and if Kamille isn't quite as strong in the ring yet as someone like Rosa, she definitely has a presence, and brings a new face into the title picture. The opener was fine, and if it might have worked a bit better as a tag match with the established team War Kings vs. the other two, doing it as a four-way did at least allow for a new player in Boogie to be put over. Tyrus vs. Kratos was perhaps the weakest match on the card, but was a reasonable hoss fight with Tyrus establishing his heel character. Overall a pretty solid show and a good sign as the promotion regains its footing. |

Wollte nach dem dritten Match auch erst aufhören, da es mich nicht abgeholt hat, ich fand dann aber Thunder Rosa vs. Kamille recht gut, sodass ich mir dann doch die ganze Show angesehen habe. Der Main Event war auch ganz nett inkl. Tribut an Jocephus. Ansonsten geben die Mathces allerdings recht wenig her, Pope vs. Latimer, Opener und Murdoch vs. Adonis sind solide, mehr leider nicht. Kratos vs. Tyrus mochte ich überhaupt nicht, viel zu behäbig und langsam, als dass es irgendwie interessant war. Insgesamt war die Show okay aber so richtig Lust dabei zu bleiben, hat sie nicht wirklich gemacht. |

| 16 | 24.03.2021 | Moose Nugget | 7.0 | Normally I'm not happy with The NWA turning people but I'll give them a pass on this show because it's been so long since they've been able to do a show and there's several people they lost to WWE, AEW and TNA. The opening match was blah and I ended up thinking it should have been a tag team match. Tyrus seems like he's going to be an interesting heel if he's here to stay in The NWA. I liked him complaining he didn't get any interview time before his match. I'm not a fan of the weird time limits in The NWA. I get Turner time used to be a thing back in the day but why is the only match with a time limit is The Television Title match? It just doesn't make any sense to me. Pope's a good babyface but I like him more as a heel. Thunder Rose is a great wrestler, probably the best one on this show and for whatever reason she didn't get to win her match. I'm not too into Kamille, I'm not a fan of her gimmick and she's not that good of a wrestler. Rosa carried that match, was the star and lost for whatever reason. I liked Trevor Murdoch vs. Chris Adonis ( for what it was. Post match Adonis attacked Murdoch so that was probably the beginning of a program. The main event was just fantastic, they told a great story, the wrestlers were great, he crowd was really good and the commentary was on point and Austin Idol added so much on the team. Normally I want a match to have a babyface vs. heel dynamic and there was a little of that but it was them being the characters they, this night was about paying tribe to The Question mark and post match they really did that. |
| 17 | 23.03.2021 | MAGICIAN | 5.0 | Mein erster NWA PPV in der modernen Powerr-Ära. Storm ist gut als Color-Announcer. Zum Opener: Kein guter Einstieg in den PPV. Kein Worker sticht hier wirklich hervor. Die Moves werden zwar okay ausgeführt und das allermeiste ergab zumindest Sinn, aber unterhalten hat mich das leider nicht (*¼). Der Hossfight zwischen Tyrus, den man als Brodus Clay vielleicht noch kennen könnte, und JR Kratos war meiner Meinung nach auch nicht wirklich gut. Auch sie verleihen den Aktionen keine Bedeutung, sellen zu schwach und bringen die High Spots zu visuell-kooperierend (*¼). Thom Latimer, aka Bram, gegen den Pope Elijah Burke. Sie fangen mit einem soliden Hin- und Her mit ein paar Antics an, was mir durchaus gefiel. Am Anfang der Midphase bringen sie dann einen schönen Corner Suplex High Spot, den Bram solide sellt. Die Transitions zwischen den Aktionen dann ist ein wenig unorientiert, aber der Pope kann immer wieder die Kontrolle übernehmen und ist Bram immer einen Schritt voraus. Das zieht sich über das ganze Match durch, wodurch eine durchaus solide Dynamik entsteht. Dann macht der Pope zum ersten Mal im Match einen Fehler, verfängt sich in den Seilen, und Bram kann eine Minute vor Schluss die Kontrolle übernehmen für jedoch nur einen Nearfall, denn dann kann der Pope wieder einen tollen Konter landen für einen 2-Count. Dann ein 1-2 zum Schluss. Am Anfang und in der Mitte somit gut, am Ende führt das Match nirgendwo wirklich hin und bringt keinem was (**¼). Danach hält Stevens eine gute Babyface Promo. Kamille/ Rosa. Erstere mit netten Heel Antics und einer durchschnittlichen Dominanzphase am Anfang. Rosa, von unten arbeitend, ist dabei gewohnt solide und sellt passend. Damit zieht sie Kamille, der öfters noch die Orientierung im Ring fehlt, zu einem recht ansehbaren Match mit manchmal netter Dynamik (**¼). Im vorletzten Slot auf der Card ein Duell der WWE Midcarder, die gegen Mitte bis Ende der 2000er von WWE ein wenig verschwendet worden: Chris Masters vs. Trevor Murdoch. Sie beginnen solide mit netten Lock-Ups und gut durchgeführten Headlock-Sequenzen, in denen Murdoch richtig schön zeigen kann, was er drauf hat. Dazu ein wenig Trashtalk und ein paar Stand-Offs und schon ist schön was an Heat drin. Murdoch macht einen Fehler, Masters übernimmt die Kontrolle, zeigt nette Heel Aktionen, während die Announcer Masters Finisher over bringen. Murdoch bringt dann ein simples, aber gutes, Comeback, entkommt dem Masterlock und kann via Roll-Up gewinnen. So ein simples Match, aber vollkommen solide (**½). Masters lässt nach dem Match seine Frustration raus und fertigt Murdoch ab, zieht dabei gut Heat und baut einen Grundstein für ein weiteres Match. ME Time. Stevens/Aldis. Die beiden versuchen sich daran, ein episches Match zu bieten mit viel Drama. Das ist ein wenig zu viel für die beiden, aber das Resultat ist trotzdem gut (***¼). Insgesamt 5 Punkte für den PPV! |

Good match between Pope and Latimer specially when the first dominate the match. The femele match was one of the best things of the show, specially for Thunder Rosa's job. Murdoch vs Adonis bad specially for Adonis. Aldis vs Stevens was a good main event and end of the show showing respecto to Question Mark was perfect. |

Der Gesamteindruck ist gut und macht Lust auf das, was nun kommen mag. Bei den Matches fällt Tyrus vs. Kratos etwas ab, aber ansonsten erfüllen alle Matches ihren Auftrag. Pope/Latimer, Murdoch/Adonis und auch Aldis/Stevens kann man sich ruhig mal geben, ohne dass ich sie im Kern nun wirklich empfehlen würde. Kamille zeigt mir etwas zu deutlich, dass sie eben nicht das Gesamtpaket hat, aber sie in diesem Spot zu sehen, ist dennoch eine gute Entscheidung, da Rosa langfristig wohl auf anderen Bühnen spielt. Ansonsten gefällt mir die Auswahl der Wrestler ziemlich gut. Murdoch, Pope, Latimer, Adonis, Stevens und Aldis liefern alle ab und gehen dann auch in eine Richtung, die ich bei NWA sehen möchte. |

Es zeigt sich wieder, dass man keine bombastische Show oder kindische Horror-Einlagen braucht, um Qualität im Ring zu präsentieren. Der Main Event war Spitze. Aldis und Stevens zeigten ihr Können. Great performances by Murdoch and Pope as tough, beliveable champions and AWESOME performances of Stevens and Adonis as challengers. Kamille will be great in the future and is a solid up-and-coming wrestler in the present and Thunder Rosa is just on another level. Nick Aldis is a top-class athlete and an era-defining champion and helps make the main event an awesome match and an emotion-filled title defense. IMO the best match of Stevens' career. Really a recomended two-hours show that shines as a tribute event (RIP Joseph Hudson, he will be deeply missed) and as a return to the action for the NWA, can't wait for Power. |
