| 1 | 03.02.2019 | DanTalksRasslin | 5.0 | The titular Brody Cup tournament featured some good brawl-based action befitting its namesake, with two solid four-way opening matches and a good final between Dreamer and Elgin, which told a good story of two generations, '90s Extreme and modern American Strong Style squaring off. And it was nice to see Dreamer, a guy who so often can be found putting others over, get a bit of glory and honor for himself this time. The rest of the show was effectively a standard event from the Brody Cup's host company, Modern Vintage Wrestling, and was mostly average at best, though the Lynch vs Edwards title match was good (it was my first time seeing the former) and the six-way match was fun enough. |
