The last three matches on the card were absolutely amazing with having so much good in-ring and plenty of recognizable talent. All the matches were either good or average but Okada vs Tanahashi and Nakamura vs Styles were like match of the decade contenders and that boosts it up a lot. Overall a fantastic show and easily one of my favorites. |

But turned out to be the biggest blessing in disguise for New Japan because it put more eyes on their product and Kenny Omega and Naito were elevated to the stratosphere, as well as Okada being the new ace. Hier hat einfach alles gepasst und hier gab es absolut nix schlechtes. Kick-Off New Japan Rumble war Okey, die Main Show beginnt dann mit dem IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Four Way Match und das war Perfekt. Natürlich absolute Spotfest Action, aber das liebe Ich (****). Die beiden Matches danach (NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championship Match & ROH World Title Match) waren auch absolut In Ordnung. Wobei Ich das ROH World Championship Match ein Wenig besser fand. NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championship Match (**3/4) & ROH World Title Match (***1/4). Kushida vs. Kenny Omega um den IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship war dann ein richtig gutes Match. Das Cosplay von Ryusuke Taguchi Mega und der Titelwechsel einfach super gemacht (****1/4). IWGP Tag Team Championship Match war Gut. Besser als Ich erwartet hatte und es ging hier auch nicht zu lange. Hier gibt es den nächsten Titelwechsel und die Sieger der World Tag League holen sich das Tag Team Gold (****). Hirooki Goto vs. Tetsuya Naito kommt mir hier etwas zu wenig weg. Ich fand das Match hier echt gut, aber Ich hätte hier lieber Naito siegen gesehen (****1/4). Und dann kommen 3x absolute Wrestling Classic's, die wirklich JEDER Wrestling Fan gesehen haben muss. Diese Matches waren einfach Episch! Erst das NEVER Openweight Championship Match. Das war ein Mega Stiffes Spotfest! WOW haben die sich hier nix Geschenkt. Das war hier eine unglaubliche Schlacht, wo Sich Shibata am Ende durchsetzen kann (*****). IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match zwischen AJ Styles und Shinsuke Nakamura war dann mein Match Of The Night. Nachdem Styles hier verlor wusste man schon ds er in Richtung WWE gehen würde. Schade das es den Intercontinental Championship, heute nicht mehr gibt. Nicht nur der IWGP Intercontinental Championship, sondern auch der IWGP Heavyweight Championship, hätten beide niemals rausgenommen werden dürfen. So wunderschöne Titel gewesen. Das Match zwischen Styles und Nakamura muss man auf jeden Fall gesehen haben. Wer hätte hier darüber nachgedacht, dass beide bei der WWE nochmal aufeinander treffen würden? (*****1/4). Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi war jetzt kein absolutes Spotfest wie man es aus den nächsten Jahren kannte, aber es war trotzdem intensiv und Gut. Okada verteidigt was gut gewesen ist, auch wenn hier fast die ganze Arena, sogar die YL, für Tanahashi gewesen sind (****3/4). Insgesamt gebe Ich diesem WK Event, die volle Punktzahl. |

We cannot talk about WK 10 if we dont talk about AJ Styles x Shinsuke Nakamura, the last year in NJPW for both, for me this is the best Styles match in NJPW, this both guys had a great expectation for this match, and they all fulfill with this great match, this was the best match between them, and I dont think they had the same good match in Wrestlemania 34 as they did here, the end of this match really gave me chills, as we could see Nakamura drama in that Kinshasa, absolute awesome. The Main Event, the best match of the event, Okada x Tanahashi, this guys have chemistry in ring, everything in this match is good, the spots, the moves, everything fits here, that final with Okada giving him that rainmaker sequence is awesome, absolute a masterpiece. Overall Rating: 9.5 |

Es war zwar nicht mein erstes Wrestlekingdom, aber es war die die mich dazu gebracht hat New Japan regelmäßig zu verfolgen. Dazu haben natürlich auch die Gerüchte um den Wechsel von Styles und Nakamura zur WWE beigetragen und mein Interesse war einfach extrem hoch. Die Show hat eine wirklich solide Undercard wo die Matches abwechslungsreich sind und nicht zu viel unnötige Zeit einnehmen. Die Highlight sind natürlich die 3 letzten Matches, welche alle wirklich unfassbar stark waren. Am Ende gibt es dann noch eines der besten Matches aller Zeiten und man hat eine Show für die Ewigkeit geschaffen. |

The main event was incredible and one of the best matches in Wrestle Kingdom history; And Wrestle Kingdom has it's fair share of all time classics. New Japan never fails to deliver at a big stage especially at the Tokyo Dome. |

I think it is very difficult to find a show in which I gave so high Workrate from beginning to end with all the matches that received from me at least a 7 to at maximum a "10". This are some of the best 5 hours you can spend your life with if you are a Wrestling Fan and personally I think that this show is way better than the previous year WK that many consider to be the best Kingdom ever. Non counting WK 14 that I was live and that was a two night extravaganza, this could easly be the best WrestleKingdom ever, but this consideration must be made at the end of the whole marathon, so here we are and we must start to talk about the show. Overall Rating: 9. 5 |

Ishii/Shibata starts the classic 3 match run that follows with an awesome fight ****1/2. Nakamura/Styles have an absolute classic dream match that lived up to what everyone hoped. Such a well paced and built match that's practically perfect *****. Okada/Tanahashi then is literally perfect and ends the night in one of the best matches of all time. Just unreal chemistry *****. |

Mit zwei lowlights (Lethal vs Elgin & BULLET CLUB vs Yano, Briscoe Brothers) Aber dafür drei Matches die nochmal das Niveau deutlich angehoben haben und die Show aufwerteten. It's the event that got me started with New Japan and I will always love it. There are excellent matches all throughout it. The show went by relatively quickly and that's good. all the matches ranged from good to great to excellent to legendary. the good match was Elgin vs Lethal. The great matches were the Junior heavyweight tag title match, the heavyweight tag title match, and Naito vs Goto. The excellent match was KUSHIDA vs Omega. and the Legendary matches were Shibata vs Ishii, Nakamura vs Styles, and finally Tanahashi vs Okada which was one of the greatest matches ever. The lower matches like the New Japan Rumble and the NEVER openweight 6 man title match were still pretty good. I liked the New Japan Rumble for all the faces in the match and all the fun parts of the match. The six man match was the worst match on the show for me but I enjoyed some stuff from the Briscoes in the match. |

Ishii/Shibata was incredible, as was Omega vs. KUSHIDA, sure there were a couple of lows (even they weren't bad) but the highs were through the Tokyo Dome roof, unbelievable event. |
