[8.0] "Fun promotion, not sure about the rounds system and the lack of alot feuds/stiputation matches. Its really interesting to see wrestlers on excursion in the promotion (Sayama and Liger). My favorite wrestler Steve Grey. Theres alot of fun interesting. Big Daddy rules too!"

[8.0] "The single most successful and impactful wrestling business in the history of European wrestling. Legacy defining and long lived. Failed to keep up with the times. Arguably focused too much on a handful of talents. (as big of stars as they was.) Didn't really breakthrough commercially outside of Britain and the rest of Europe. 4 out of 5 stars."

[8.0] "It is very hard to give a rating to Joint Promotions, because on the one hand you have some all-time great talents like Rocco, Marty Jones, the original tiger mask, Steve Grey and you also have some revolutionary fast paced action as early as the 70s. On the other hand you have big daddy and giant haystacks and slow, rest hold after rest hold wrestling. Joint promotions was a mixed bag promotion in terms of in-ring quality. Also storylines and promos were very much kept to a minimum as ITV had no interest in the pure entertainment side. In many ways Joint promotions was ahead of the times but also behind the times. I'd argue that in the 1970s there was no better promotion in the world for in-ring action but the promotion didn't keep up with American production value and it lost many of its top talents to All-star wrestling and to Japan/the USA. Below the heavyweight bracket was were the best wrestling was to be found. It gets a generous 8, as its my favourite 70s promotion and it produced some great entertainment."

[9.0] "World Of Sport pro-wrestling is not for everyone, but you can't deny the influence it has on at least 70% of the wrestlers and the wrestling you see nowadays. Most of the matches from this promotion aren't available to rate/see on Cagematch, but I still think it's a promotion that every fan needs to go out of their way to see. If you are a lover of technical wrestling, submission style wrestling, catch-as-catch-can style wrestling, pure wrestling, or whatever is along the line of those mentioned, this right here is the go-to promotion for you. I could open a random World Of Sport bout on YouTube and just get lost in the action right away, no matter if the wrestlers are the ones I know or not."
