The Briscoe Brothers were the best tag team in the world, and they've held onto these titles for a long time. I think the title has lost a lot of its luster after Tony Khan bought the promotion, but I don't think this current run has lasted long enough to seriously effect my rating."

With that said, the historical lineage of these titles is an incredible list of tag team royalty even without the Briscoes. So much innovation and respect for the artform (especially considering how WWE marginalizes tag team wrestling). The post-AEW version of ROH has been buoyed foremost (especially on PPVs) by notable feuds and matches for these belts. Only the cream of the crop can/should wear these belts, and that remains true in 2023."

Before you even take into account how many top guys in ROH have held these titles throughout the years alongside other notable indie wrestlers and talent from around the world, or that these titles have always felt like a fixture of ROH with striking yet simple belts, The Briscoes alone would've warranted a good score alone. Even today they find new life in the form of one of AEW's biggest hail mary main event angles."
