Peter Avalon changing from his librarian gimmick to the Pretty Peter one was pretty fun and he had some good showings. Cezar Bononi is somebody who, since his days in NXT, I has always felt like had a pretty good look but just wasn't good or smooth in the ring. Meanwhile JD Drake is one of the best and toughest indy wrestlers out there, and he was a super weird fit for this group. Before Anthony Henry made his way to AEW, they clearly had no idea what to do with Drake. This group could've been fun if it stuck around for the arrival of say MXM or a similar thing, but they were just a group of jobbers to always loose, and they did their roles well. |
