After months of Enzo, this is exactly what the brand needed: Just 16 really fucking good wrestlers having a single-elimination tournament culminating at Wrestlemania (preshow). This was also the big breakout moment for Buddy Murphy/Mathews, and he absolutely made the most of his opportunity. Every match is worth going back and watching. I particularly recommend Strong vs. Alexander. Damn, I miss 205 Live. |

| 15 | 01.05.2018 | aka PRI | 8.0 | A very good Tournament with a very good styles clash that is ruined by an average final match in the kickoff of Wrestlemania. This match deserved the main card and It must has been longer, in fact WWE has trashed a very good opportunity to relaunch definitively the purple division. This Tournament represent the reborn of 205 Live in the post Zo-Train Era, the show is now the best weekly show in the Pro Wrestling, and it is the reason why I have signed the WWE Network. There are some developed enjoyable storyline during all the Tournament: Soul vs Heart (Ali vs Alexander), Gulak as a bully and his gimmick change, new careless TJP and a great developing of Mustafa Ali's babyface character. The best matches are: Strong vs Alexander (****1/4), Kalisto vs Dorado (****), Nese vs Gulak (****), Gulak vs Ali (****), Gallagher vs Ali (***3/4), Itami vs Strong (***3/4) and TJP vs Bate (***3/4). There aren't matches below the *** stars and there are also pretty promos and recap videos during the shows. Best wrestlers of the Tournament have been Roderick Strong and Mustafa Ali, the first according to the pure fighting actions, and the second according to his beautiful babyface performance during all the tournament with huge selling. |

I was very annoyed that the Cruiserweight Division was once again relegated to pre-show especially after coming off a very good tournament. I wasn't expecting it to be so good since it was main roster. Wasn't expecting to see Roderick Strong or Buddy Murphy but both added some great bouts to this tournament. |
