[4.0] "I'll give Hawkfield/Lacrosse/Steele some credit: he looked great in terms of throwing out big power moves and had some surprising agility. However, he's just not very good beyond that. Very clunky and could only be described as "below mediocre" which would be fine, apart from the fact that he was doing so in perhaps one of the hottest periods in AJPW's entire history and was in consistent contact with GOAT material talent, which is pretty rough. Years of performing under them resulted in barely any improvements, and his consistent name/gimmick changes didn't help matters either. Pretty boring beyond that and frankly, I've never watched a single match of his where it wasn't obviously clear he was being carried to more by his opponent. He's fine as a low card guy but he's still not very good."
