[4.0] "Slyck Wagner Brown is one of those famous names in the northeast indie scene. First of all, I've only watched his run on ROH and one of his matches in JAPW, where he worked alongside his valet April Hunter. As far as I've seen, he wasn't the most polished wrestler at the time, but I think that's normal considering he was at the beginning of his career. He was known for being a big wrestler who combined some powermoves with athleticism in the form of dives and high flying moves. He had many matches in ROH, but all of them were on the preshow or on the undercard, normally being on multiman matches as Scrambles or Four Corner Survivals. His work didn't resonate with me, as he did too many botches and his action was kind of sloppy. I get why ROH gave him that many opportunities, as he had an impressive physique and could to some cool moves, but most times he'd miss the high spots or botch something. In JAPW he had a run in the main event, wrestling Dan Maff for the heavyweight title. I've only watch their Collision Course match and it was fine, but mostly carried by Maff's selling."

[7.0] "The Underground King, Slyck Wagner Brown is a solid independent wrestling veteran, who is at his best when he can play the overpowering and dominating heel against small opponents. Never the best, but constantly able to do his job well."

[7.0] "I've personally been a fan of Slyck for several years. Saw him many times for 2CW and never really had a bad match that I saw. Very good worker and very underrated."

[6.0] "Brown has been kicking around the Northeastern indy scene for over two decades now, and he's a solid wrestler, capable of putting on entertaining matches especially when paired with smaller opponents, with whom he can play an overpowering heel. When working heel he is also able to effectively irritate the crowd, though he can work face just fine, and has some solid power moves when on the offense. At this point it looks like he's at the highest level he'll reach, main-eventing small indies and filling out the midcard ranks of larger ones like BTW and the now-defunct 2CW, but he does well for where he is."

[6.0] "Works matches well and isn't sloppy. His pacing is remarkable and his style is effective and simple to follow. He's not a household name but he's definitely marketable, respectful and can help add something extra to a lackluster card. Recommend hiring him."

[2.0] "SWB has been around the indie scene forever and has worked with some names over the years, but he's not actually that GOOD at anything as far as I can tell. He's not a great worker, he's barely adequate as a talker, and at this point in his career he looks pretty out of shape."
