Jonathan Gresham vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

[8.0] "(Grade:B+) Such a strong showcase of pure/technical wrestling on display especially with two prominent stars of that genre, loved the continuous back & forth with different holds Zack coming off as cocky and more better than Gresham who's trying to prove he can hang amongst technical wrestlers, I enjoyed the final stretch of the match with each trying to one up with unique pin rolls!"

"Strong match here with cool counter wrestling, technical holds and some stiff strikes. Two awesome technical wrestlers here. 4/5"

[8.0] "This was a great match. This was pure technical wrestling, but they were able to keep things fast paced enough to where the crowd invested in it. The crowd actually helped make the match as they were loud during the whole match. The fact that the match was under 12 minutes certainly helped keep the flow to a brisk pace, but both Jonathan Gresham and Zack Sabre Jr are great wrestlers in their own right. I even liked the finish as it showed that in a technical wrestling setting, anyone can be caught off guard, which Gresham was. That and the fact that Sabre Jr actually won a match with that fancy pin he likes doing. ****"

[7.0] "A cool match but a somewhat discreet audience at times. The finish is perfect and totally successful. (3*1/2)"

[6.0] "I am in the minority here but I never felt this match got out of second gear with a lot of trade offs seemingly meaningless, of course both men are great submission machines but somehow the styles were so similar they didn't click for me. Still a good submission fest but not quite great."

[9.0] "I'm pretty enjoyed the high intensely between those two guys, Jonathan and Sabre came up with a good match that invoived pure technical content, and made the short length of this match just a merely mistake. (****1/2)"

[8.0] "A nice showcase of technical wrestling for both mixing with some striking and pretty hot crowd. Very good and fun match as expected. A bit short for sure but I am all for a rematch."

[7.0] "This was good. It was a bit short and a lot of the wrestling felt exhibition-y. Clearly a match to get the crowd use to Sabre and see what he can do in the ring. Good match but ultimately nothing special. ***1/4"

[9.0] "A technical wrestling spectacle. I have been waiting to see Gresham and Sabre Jr. square off in the ring since their classic trilogy of matches back in 2016 in beyond wrestling. I would call this more of an exhibition match for Sabre, since the match happened to put over Sabre's abilities. Both have great chemistry and are two of the best technicians around."

[8.0] "Very good technical competition between the two best pure technical wrestlers in the world. The match isn't boring and there is a good crowd partecipation from start to bottom. The selling is adequate and the storytelling tells well a smartass Sabre Jr. and a Gresham's babyface underdog attitude. The match deserved a better building up. ****"

[8.0] "I haven't seen their much hyped Beyond stuff, but this was exactly what it promised to be. A match filled with some very nice, slick mat work w/ sneaky counters, nice intensity & some really good strikes thrown in there as well. ***1/2"
