[6.0] "[3.0*] This was actually pretty damn good for a 5 minute match, but was still a 5 minute match, trying to figure 6 people out. There was a lack of showing-off time for everybody but was a pretty entertaining sprint."

[5.0] "This was fun to watch for what it was but either really needed more time with six people here or needed to cut two or three people out. At least this was a good win for Jake something here; I liked how everyone else was kinda trying to chop him down. Fun X-Division action to start the night but a little poorly booked to get a solid rating from me."

[5.0] "This was a odd choice to start the show; I mean, they're all talented guys, but having them in a 5 minutes match was a bold booking move that I wouldn't have done. Maybe the purpose was to introduce the wrestlers to new viewers, but it didn't work for me, at least. (**3/4)."

[6.0] "This served its purpose as a high speed opening match to give the X-Division some spotlight for TNA's return, but it felt a bit overly choreographed for my taste. There was some really goofy stuff like that combination Miguel did that ended with a Lightning Spiral. The best part of the match for me was definitely Jake Something, who showed more presence and intensity than anybody else. Largely a pretty mindless match, but there was enough entertainment value to still get a positive rating even if it wasn't really my thing."

[7.0] "Pure spot fest to start this TNA show. Undoubtedly it has been an entertaining contest, where the end was a bit meh in the sense of who would win, because I thought it would be another one, but well, it has been a good fight and as I said, very entertaining full of crazy moments."

[6.0] "This is the X Division, ladies and gentlemen. Just endless action or, in other words, a spot-fest. Was he good? Rather yes than no. Did he remember? More likely no than yes. In general, they were not given much time, so the guys had to rush so much. Everything was fast, so you dont even have time to soak in the atmosphere, but the guys are still great, because no one lagged behind, and everyone tried to bring something of themselves into the match."

[6.0] "[3.25*] The match was frenetic, all the wrestlers had a certain prominence and the moves were interesting but the match was very short and ended at the moment when the action in the ring started to get really good."

[7.0] "The new era of TNA iMPACT! kicked off with an awesome match. Jake Something stood out and deservedly won. All the participants showcased great skill and effort."

[8.0] "This was the perfect match to kick off the new era of TNA iMPACT! as the X-Division has played a pivotal role in TNA's history since the company's launch. It was all action and everyone had a chance to shine, despite this not lasting long. Although the X-Division is about "no limits, " I don't know if I'd classify Something an X-Division guy. That said, I'm not complaining about him picking up a big win. Here's hoping Vikingo sticks around and continues to make appearances as he has for AEW and Ring of Honor over the last year"

[7.0] "A damn good opener where everyone managed to stand out. Jake Something is an absolute beast of a man, much as El Hijo del Vikingo is a generational athlete. The fact Something caught that corner flipping Rana blew my mind. KUSHIDA also stepped up, as always, and really acted as the glue of this match. Throw in some amazing sells by Trey Miguel, some impressive speed from Laredo Kid, and the always great presence of Speedball Mike Bailey, and you have yourself a perfect way to kick off the TNA iMPACT era. 3.5 stars, 7 out of 10."

[7.0] "An enjoyable "get your shit in" X Division multi man. Got in, did its job and got out. Vikingo was unsurprisingly the highlight. I am not sure I really get Jake Something, he got cut years ago and came back without doing anything different. Just a nice enough hoss for the lower card."

[8.0] "Great way to start off the first impact. Showcase a good amount of the X-Division and give Jake Something s big win."

[6.0] "Everyone gets their stuff in in this quick and fast 5-minute sprint. I was slightly disappointed that the only non-high flyer won this, as the rest of the guys were in the spotlight with their signature dives, flips, and combinations. Jake Something comes in at the end and gets the win, in a slightly abrupt finish."

[9.0] "Fantastic high flying match, Jake something rules so much, everyone in the match looked great and I just love the god damn x division kicking off the new era of TNA."

[8.0] "Jake Something powerbombing Vikingo onto everyone on the outside was my spot of the match ... until Laredo Kid and Speedball did a wild belly-to-belly moonsault from the top, followed by Something's awesome Black Hole Slam on Laredo Kid for the win. An awesome start to a new era of TNA, showing why the X-Division is so innovative."

[9.0] "The second best Match of the night in my opinion, what an incredible way to open a return episode! Vikingo is simply phenomenal, Mike, Kushida, Trey and Laredo Kid showed once again why they are one of the best high flyers in the wrestling world. I love it!"

[8.0] "A Six Way Match, a variation of the one from Hard to Kill. Very good spotfest with dives, bombs, and some subs. What else for an X Division match, in the best tradition?"
