With all the talent in the WWF, these guys got way too much time for televised arena match. If only Vince knew about Casey's Las Vegas gigolo future so he could have found a gimmick for him ala Val Venus. I think the Boston crowd cheered because it was over."

Casey & Jones squashed The Shadows here, Casey showed us some of his acrobatic moves, Jones threw in some power moves in, Shadows in here were wrestling like babyfaces for some reason? Casey & Jones won the match as you'd expected. Not a particularly good match, but not a bad match for that matter."

[6.0] "Match also found on Prime Time Wrestling Sep 24 1987: Scott Casey, my dude. While Scott's WWF tenure wasn't very glimmering, he was only seen eating two pinfalls himself up until this match, otherwise his tag team partner took the fall. SD Jones has been eating loss after loss after... The Shadows can't get a win and seem to lose in a certain specific manner. By the way, save the term "jobber" for someone who can't work, none of these men lack in the skill level department (please and thank you). So has #1 (Moondog Rex) also lost weight, or was Scott Casey really that huge at this point? Hard to tell. Things are mostly fine but also since people are still filing in, no one dares do anything too elaborate. Faces in control for a good long while but eventually things fall in favor of The Shadows. #2 delivers one of his excellent looking Backbreakers and not long after, a brutal looking knee to the face of Casey. Casey's in trouble as The Shadows give their best. The hot tag spot is kinda pitiful but Boston loves SD, which very much so helps. The Shadows somehow once again, position themselves in a certain specific manner to lose and my hero from the Texas territories finally has a notch in the win column thanks to Jones. 5.75"

Jones is literally on fire" from Gorilla Monsoon make it worth it, even if you don't like the participants. The Shadows were a short-lived tag team that were jobbers, but always seemed to put on a good show. I enjoyed this one."

[4.0] "Poor Shadows, they still have not won a TV match yet and were still eating pins from the lower babyface talent from spring through fall of 87. The match itself was not very good, and Casey & Jones literally beat the living hell out of The Shadows here. The highlight of the match was the finish when SD Jones ducks a clothesline from Shadow #1 and Shadow #1 clothesline his own partner over the top rope backwards and SD Jones pins the big shadow for the win."
