[5.0] "[2.5*] This was an okay match. Of course the Hardys are getting older, Matt Hardy has trouble to even run, but they did the best they could. Bucks carried them as pros and the best part for sure was the post-match face to face with Dax and Cash. I hope they continue to build the feud."
[6.0] "Good match, The Bucks put in a lot of effort to make this a nice match against the Hardys and they did it, great performance, a lot of cool sequences here - {***}"
[7.0] "Only the Young Bucks can pull out a good match the Hardys nowdays: the action was fun, there were some cool sequences and everybody looked good. Jeff, especially, looked in a much better shape than last year's. Post-match was great with the announcement of Young Bucks vs. Ftr 3 at All In. 7/10 - 3.5*/5*"
[7.0] "Cool to see these two iconic tag teams compete once again, but I will say that this wasn't their best match by any means. Nonetheless, still a fun match at that and The Hardys looked good in defeat. Brandon Cutler spraying Matt and Jeff after the match was a nice touch as well. Speaking of things that happened after the match, I'm really looking forward to watching The Young Bucks face FTR at All In."
[4.0] "I didn't vibe with this at all. Matt Hardy is completely washed at this point and while Jeff and the Bucks tried to work around it, the exchanges involving him were painfully slow and awkward. He's definitely got to the point physically where it's impossible to suspend your disbelief that he's capable of beating anyone. Jeff looks fine enough considering his issues, so moving forward I'd like to see him maybe go into a tag team with Isaiah and then maybe a trios when Marq Quen is recovered from injury."
[7.0] "With all of Matt's head trauma, with all of Jeff's back issues and drug problems, and along with their ages for them to keep up and for the Bucks to probably go a bit slower and yet never look sluggish is a good feat to be honest. The Hardys can still look so strong nad capable despite their tumultuous careers is just wonderful for me."
[7.0] "Good match by two of the most memorable brother teams in pro wrestling. Hardys got the crowd behind them, and the in-ring action was good. One of the Hardy's better matches in recent memory. More of a spot fest but with these two teams that had to be expected. Enjoyed that despite both teams having someone in their corners there was no major interference."
[6.0] "This was a satisfactory tag team match, that could easily be rated higher just for the fact that the young bucks were able to get a good enough match out of the hardy boys at this point in their career. The Hardys did fine though, I liked Jeff Hardy's whisper in the wind that hit both young bucks (it's the little thing in my opinion.) There was an audible duel chant at one point which is cool, because you would think the AEW fan base would be 100% behind The Young Bucks but I guess that really speaks for the The Hardy Boys legacy. 6/10"
[7.0] "A fight that exceeds my expectations. It's true that The Hardys are on their last legs and don't give for that much, but they were a great team in this fight and together with the Young Bucks they put on a very good show and that makes me quite happy."
[9.0] "A good short match ( if I am correct because I didn't feel it took too long). It is the 4th Hardyz-Bucks match I guess and it is good and refreshing. better than the last one for sure. it is that type of matches that I would open if I want a great short match with my fav wrestlers"
[9.0] "Great match definitely alot better then their double or nothing match a year ago. Cool spots and good near falls this match overall was pretty good I had some bad expectations for it but it was good though the hardys can't move as well as they use too they did fine here ****1/2"
[7.0] "Very solid opener and probably the best Jeff Hardy match since returning this year. The action was good and the result was obvious as the YB need momentum for their match at Wembley. The match could have been better, but the Hardys are just nowehere near their prime, not even at the level when they were in Impact or ROH. However, they really tried and especially the last minutes of the match were really intense and good. (***1/4)"
[6.0] "My conscience will not allow me to put more. You can already see that The Hardys are old and need to take off their boots. These are not the same guys who showed 10/10 matches at Wrestlemania. Although the match was such that it seemed like the old guard was about to win, but fortunately it didn't happen. We need a young brothers team that can show the classics for years to come, and fortunately we already have it. The kings are dead, hail the new kings."
[6.0] "It sucks to say because I have a lot of fond memories of both, but the Hardys just don't have it anymore. Jeff seemed better than prior to his absence and there was no major issues so that was good, but they just seem slow and clearly have mobility issues. The finishing stretch was decent enough to elevate this to a pretty generous 6.0 for me, but I don't think it's controversial to say that it seems to be time to decide on a retirement match for the Hardys and start wrapping things up on their Hall of Fame careers."
[7.0] "A serviceable opening match with a vocal crowd. A peppering of high spots throughout a largely grounded match that goes by the numbers to please the crowd, and protects the Hardys, who look shockingly solid in this. Matt kicking out Jeff's ankle was a good moment. Nice to see the Buck's back in the tag division. Angle with FTR after the match was a bit flat, given that nobody really said anything lol"
[8.0] "I liked the match, I thought the Hardy's would perform poorly but no, everyone performed well. The Bucks are as good as ever, whether against strong or weak opponents, they will show a great match. I'm looking forward to the FTR vs. Bucks matchup, it's going to be awesome."
[8.0] "Only the Bucks can get a match this good from the Hardys at this point. This match had a lot of great action and a hot crowd. I really loved the spot near the end of Jeff getting Superkicked off the ropes and how smooth it looked. Definitely better than their DoN 2022 match and a fine send-off if this is the last time these two legendary tag teams face off. ***3/4"
[7.0] "I think that this was a very nice tag team match, obviously not on the level of their many previous encounters but still good. The choice to put it as the opener of the show is understandable and the crowd was very invested in it as you might expect. The Hardys looked a little slow but they performed all their signature moves very well (Matt is a little slow like he has been for a few years but Jeff looked very good for me here), the finish in my opinion was a little rushed though. The post match was a great build up to the All In match, cannot wait for that one. ***1/2"
[8.0] "A decent, clean tag match between two legendary tag teams. The Bucks have had 3 tag team matches in the past year, and the Hardy's have had 2. Expecting some epic match here isn't really realistic. Jeff looked pretty good tonight, hopefully he's getting back in the swing of things. The standoff with FTR was kind of pointless, since Dax, who has been complaining about the Bucks online for the past two years, didn't have anything to say in the ring. But the rating here is for the match, not what happened afterwards."
[6.0] "A match that was very much going through the motions between two teams that have had this match with much higher stakes basically every other time they've ever done it together. Putting Bucks over a legendary team before the rubber match with FTR makes sense but they really did the bare minimum here; it was paced pretty well and smooth given how limited the Hardyz are in terms of movement speed but there wasn't really a big moment here besides the kick to Jeff's ankle to make him fall (which I think might've been so he didn't need to do another spot from the very top). The crowd definitely liked this though, makes since given everything these guys have done in their careers. **3/4+"
[4.0] "Not a good choice for an opening match, even if it would've been great about a decade ago. The Hardy's are slow and just don't have the juice like they used to, and putting them in the ring with the Bucks is proof of that. Very safely worked match with few spots, and while I'd like to commend the Bucks for reigning it in here and still putting on a good match, that's not exactly what happened. Jeff moves better than Matt, but I wish the both of them would quit before it gets worse. Strange to see Jeff Jarrett putting on more entertaining matches in 2023 than the Hardy brothers. Wish I had more to say about this given the talent involved, but it was just okay instead of being anything I'll remember weeks from now."
[7.0] "Better than their other AEW match, except without the high spots like Jeff doing a Swanton onto the steps. Man, that match was derailed. This one was more clean and to the typical formula. I am glad to see Jeff back and healthy, and with his issues, I always get nervous and watch with extra scrutiny. Here he sold very well and was quite a highlight. The Young Bucks, now babyfaces again, brought back the fringe/tassels. Just a good match between two face teams, also obviously both brothers. It was wholesome."
[5.0] "I love them but goddamn do the Hardy brothers need to hang up the tights. They're still great talkers but I get afraid seeing them take bumps. They're not the oldest people still wrestling but they're some of the most fragile. Jeff in particular, frightens me whenever he does a spot. The Young Bucks are able to carry them to a not terrible match but they are only so talented. The idea that they were going to be made tag team champions last year before Jeff's latest brush with the law ruined it is just baffling."
[4.0] "Jeff looked less washed than he has in recent months, whilst Matt still struggles to take bumps. Match in general, was otherwise phoned in, could have been worse, did the job of getting the Bucks to challenging FTR for the titles at All In. At this point, the Hardy's are no longer capable of anything other than multi-man spotfests, but to use them as such feels a waste. I hope they're still not planning on putting the belts on them to pump up the legacy that little bit more. They've done all they can here."
