[7.0] "Decent 10 minutes match with Bailey finally getting back to winning ways in IMPACT. Haste is a really great addition to this roster with the NJPW crossover happening and he impressed me here. He had fantastic strikes, a super dropkick and convinced me he could beat Bailey which is preposterous. Bailey won with the Ultima Weapon. ***1/4"
[8.0] "I absolutely adored this encounter! Firstly, Shane Haste is a hidden gem of a talent. I really loved his time with Mikey as TM61 in NXT. They did a solid work over there and he was totally fumbled in the main roster tagging with the controversial RETRIBUTION. Now, I'm glad that he's getting the spotlight in New Japan & right here in Impact. He delivered a tremendous showing against one of the best in Bailey. Both men clicked in an instant and brought the best out of each other serving a fiery opener which has been Impact's success formula in recent memory. I wish we would see more of Haste and TMDK in Impact getting a huge rub while Bailey can rock the stage whenever he steps in. 4 out of 5 stars!"

[8.0] "Good match to start the show between Bailey and Haste which was everything I hoped it would be too with Haste shining as he has deserved to shine for years, for years he has been for me one of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE so to see him come back and have such quality matches against one of the best wrestlers in the world is something that makes me happy, between this match and the one with ZSJ on ROH we can say that TMDK has controlled this Thursday tonight and nothing more deserved than that for this very good stable. The match itself was competitive and super fun to watch as you can imagine, your usual Mike Bailey TV match with a lot of quality content to put in front of you, I took a lot of pleasure in front of this match."
