Baliyan Akki vs. Chon Shiryu

[7.0] "Very cool match here between Shiryu and Akki, with Akki logically being the one who defeats Shiryu for his Interim Title. He's now probably going to face Fujita for being the "Undisputed Champ", and it hypes me a lot. It was maybe a bit too long but it stills an interesting fight. ***1/4"

[9.0] "AKKI DID IT! Akki finally won the belt! What an excellent match. I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the offense from Choun Shiryu up until the 15 minute mark, but the match picked up and kept building as Akki worked over Shiryu's leg. The finish was nothing short of masterful: Both wrestlers had their finishers countered when their opponent got the knees up, leaving both men desperately trying to get to their feet to take advantage. But Akki was literally a quarter of a second faster. I realized he was about to win, and I didn't think he was going to win going into the match, so I started freaking out as he brought out his new senton off the wall. Wonderful. ****1/4"
