[8.0] "Umino/RKJ was a great match to close the show but overshadowed by the Aussie Open/YG tag team bout and the quality-oriented Doug/Ospreay contest. Regardless, this was also nothing short of a enticing match-up. It was a engaging contest throughout with the crowd firmly behind Umino. A scrappy and fiery babyface figure with a lot of intensity, charisma and high-spirited demeanor. RKJ on the other hand a cocky arrogant heel but has the exemplary skill and talent caliber to back up his smug attitude. There was a good level of physicality with rocking shots back and forth. It started off as a sprint of wrestling action and entertainment with all the momentum and moving at a lightning fast pace. Umino fight backs against the bulk of offense and nullifies being on the receiving end for majority part. he gives RKJ a tough time after fighting his way through adversity struggling for a breakthrough. The near-falls do a alluring job at introducing a aspect of drama into the match. In the end, however RKJ proves that he's champion for a reason surviving every single ounce of onslaught and offense thrown at him until it finally is able to get the better of him. ****1/4"

[8.0] "Umino looked great, even if he was sloppy here and there. If he keeps it up and improves more, he will be one of the best in the forseeable future. The action of this match was constantly good, with the ending stretch standing out the most to me."

[7.0] "Good main event with an intense brawl between these two great athletes. If only the flow was bit smoother, everything would be awesome. Anyways, worth watching."

[8.0] "Great main event between Ricky Knight Jr. and Shota Umino right here even if it wasn't at the level of the other two marquee matches of this show (Ospreay v Williams, Aussie Open v Young Guns), it's a pleasure to see Shota Umino in action for the first time since March 2020 even if I know he came back in RevPro a few weeks ago but this is the first time I've seen him since his come back and I think he's so much better than before, you can see his progression and also the fact that he has a much bigger shape than before, he has put on some weight and I think it's a good thing because he looks much more believable now. I literally loved his performance here, he was a real fighting challenger with ambition and his babyface work was excellent, the crowd was behind him. I discovered RKJ in this match and my god he's so good too, he did so many great things in this match and I want to see more of him. Damn solid main event to conclude this show with two young guns proving themselves."

[7.0] "Ricky Knight Jr. 's obsession with Will Ospreay continued, with it heightened as Ospreay was in the previous match. This match got affected a little by Shota Umino's ring rust, as this was the longest he's gone since his return, but this was still a very good main event that put RKJ in position for the unification match with Ospreay at York Hall next month."
