Big Damo vs. Matt Sydal

[7.0] "A solid encounter between two wrestlers who managed to put an interesting twist on what was likely expected of this match. Big Damo and Matt Sydal bring some fun interactions to the opening moments of this match, which begins the story of Damo seemingly not being his usual aggressive self. Sydal consistently capitalizes on this truth, proving that he has the prowess and technique to avoid any David vs. Goliath tropes. Damo, meanwhile, struggles to get into second gear until it seemingly finally clicks that he should run through the much smaller competitor. This creates an entertaining final act of what I find to be an underrated match. On a great show with some borderline classic matches, in terms of RevPro lore, this one is a bit underrated. Sydal is great, Damo adapts wonderfully, and they put together a match I'd watch again. 3. 5 stars, 7 out of 10."
