[8.0] "I guess the idea here was to present Gargano, who was Open the Freedom Gate champion at the time, as an equal to Takagi/Doi/YAMATO, but him not having a 'highlight reel'-type performance or getting a few big near-falls didn't make him a big deal in the context of this match imo. Doi and Shingo took the spotlight here and delivered in-ring action that one would expect from Dragon Gate of that time and place, just effortlessly great."
