Esfinge vs. Josh Alexander

[8.0] "That crowd decided to cheer Esfinge against an outsider as much as they could, which gave both wrestlers a reason to really push themselves and work as hard as they could. In my eyes Esfinge is a mid-carder who occasionally can jump over his head and put on a very good match, which is what he did here, he had the crowd fully behind him in the last few minutes, unfortunately for him Alexander was just too resilient. Alexander's style is perfect for a match that happened here so he effortlessly got over as a threat. Very good match that overdelivered. ***3/4"

[9.0] "Absolutely banger of a wild match made, MLP being presented and defended under the CMLL umbrella's and with AEW's Josh Alexander, was my first time seeing Esfinge, was a great match and showcase for himself too, can't wait for the next defence for Josh in Windsor, I'll be there so it's going to be exciting."

[7.0] "This match didn't blow me away exactly but it was highly competently worked and Josh has been on a roll recently"

[7.0] "Pretty good match between Alexander and Esfinge, arena mexico is always fun with foreign wrestler heel gimmick and it worked well, mostly with D'amore in the ringside."

[7.0] "Looks like Josh Alexander had a lot of fun playing the foreign heel. They booed him immediately just for being from Canada, and from there he got heel heat for hugging Scott D'Amore at ringside and eventually going for Esfinge's mask. Esfinge doing a top rope hurricanrana out of a fireman's carry was incredible and much more athletic than I expected from Esfinge. Everything from that point forward was awesome."
