Honori Hana & Unagi Sayaka vs. Selene Misora & VENY

[5.0] "Yea I don't know about this one. I know I didn't think it was great. It's a pretty standard tag match that lacks any kind of engrossing pace or build. It's mostly a stand out for how insanely stiff the work is and honestly it might even be too stiff for me at points. It's not super consistent and I think that's why it feels off. I think a stiff wrestling match should still come from a place of control and due to how many of the strikes exchanged looking like wild flailing it's safe to say the control was rather absent. Veny is the only one who looks really good here but even she begins to throw some kicks around that felt like we may as well be watching a shoot fight. Overall though it wasn't ever dull but it does feel like it misses the point or maybe even it's me that's missing something"

[9.0] "What a fantastic match, only brought down that Unagi still, even at this stage, absolutely brings nothing to the table. It's hilarious how a young pup like Selene Misora can outshine her in every way, especially the pro wrestling part of the whole deal. She didn't detract from the match except for not actually doing anything of note. VENY, Selene, and Honori Hana brought it, though, and brought the violence that SEAd has been known for. That headbutt from Honori was just absurd and came outta nowhere, and her rivalry with VENY and now Selene... I need it. ****1/4"

[9.0] "Honori Hana and VENY is one of the unspoken, underrated feuds in the scene today. They have been murdering each other on sight for about a year. Their first singles match, Honori Hana headbutt VENY so hard that VENY left with a hematoma and a confused expression on her face. Yes, VENY was the one left bruised. A few weeks before this match, they met in Diana. After the match, VENY was walking down the ramp to leave, Honori starts sprinting after her. VENY no-sells it, and then throws a chair at Honori's head, and then once again when Honori is on the ground. They hate each other. Generally, Honori is just a psychopath. There's no other way to interpret her character. So that was the backdrop for this match where Selene, VENY and Honori beat the shit out of each other. There was a gruesome moment where Honori's psychopath tendancies got the better of her and she almost took Selene out of action. Selene, a rookie with less than maybe 15 matches, finished the match with blood dripping down her face. It was a violent match that ended with Selene coldly and calmly cutting a promo on Honori. A rookie did that. Unheard of. Best match in SEAd since maybe the Sareee/VENY match, and I'd still have this over it because of my investment in these psychopath rookies."

[6.0] "A decent little match with some intensely stiff exchanges and which definitely didn't overstay its welcome. I'm not especially comfortable endorsing shoot headbutts - those things will do serious long term damage ***1/4"

[6.0] "Very solid match. Very hard hitting at times, and I thought the closing stretch was enjoyable after a bit of a slow start. Not a MOTY contender by any stretch, but I think this is exactly the type of match you would have hoped for going into it."

[8.0] "This match may have broken the world record of most lethal slaps in one match. Veny was great as always, and Selene Misora impressed me."

[9.0] "One of the best tags of the year so far. Brutal, violent, amazing stuff. Veny runs shit like always. Hana hits Selene with an absolute thumper of a headbutt that opens her up hard way, incredible match."

[7.0] "A solid tag team. The beginning was a little boring, but that was because it was comedic. Then it got much better, especially when Unagi wasn't in the ring. VENY, Selene, and Honori gave a very good performance."

[9.0] "Hell fucking yeah. These lasses woke up and chose violence. The headbutt from Hana made me jump out of my seat it sounded so sickening. Great stuff from all four of them. Really top tier wrestling for my tastes"
