[7.0] "It's a pity that Hammerstone only had 2 matches in WWE, but I think he proved himself very well on this episode. I knew the match only lasted only 5 minutes, and I didn't have any special expectations, but it was a very good beef fight between two big guys that made me want to see a rematch between them at NXT's PPV. Despite the timing, the wrestlers, it seems to me, tried very hard to make the most of the situation, and visually everything that was happening looked very impressive."
[4.0] "** (4/10) Hammerstoner looks like he could be a match for Oba-Femi. I do not doubt that he very well could be, but he certainly was not booked to be on par with him, here, unless we're talking about size."
[4.0] "Never expected to see Hammerstone in NXT and if he did appear I would expect him to have a banger especially against Oba who never had bad matches but due to the time limit this match was unbelievably underwhelming."
[7.0] "Hammerstone got to have some moments, but he's not beating Oba Femi in the Performance Center. Was there more for the novelty and shock value than anything else. I thought Femi looked great here. Ultimately, a nice bit of meat slapping."
[4.0] "There's some decent clobbering here, but it's alarmingly nondescript as a piece of TV. Hammerstone is particularly flat, not popping at all on this stage and ultimately performing at a level befitting his usage. Femi is sharper, but this isn't an especially flattering presentation for him either, struggling to click with an unfamiliar opponent. Strange match in truth, surprisingly bland. **"
[4.0] "Okay match. Hammerstone was revealed as the mystery man that Tony D brought in to take on Oba. A quick big guy fight that was surprisingly one-sided with Oba winning. It's not a bad story to tell, but at the expense of Hammerstone, who didn't look like anything special. This wasn't necessary. 4/10"
[3.0] "Seriously? You gave this match less time than to Chelsea Green? Nice work ruining another company's star, WWE, it's not the first time. The in-ring action was very basic, by the way. If it was better, I'd give it 4, at least."
[5.0] "Nah, sorry, folks. You guys are being generous. This was my first time watching a Hammerstone match (since I do not watch TNA at all), and I was NOT impressed by his performance at all. Oba Femi is an impressive hoss guy, but this felt like an easy night for him since this open challenge was completely meaningless filler. At best, this match was JUST fine. I give this Oba vs Hammerstone match a 5.5 out of 10 here."
[6.0] "Collar elbow tie up with two powerful guys, tied up in rope. Hammerstone pushes Oba back with just a couple fingers, Oba Femi really makes Hammerstone look normal sized. Goes for a hip toss but its cut off by Femi, he goes to launch Hammerstone into the turnbuckle but Alex gets out of it and then hits the hip toss. Hes driven into the corner by Femi but cuts him off before he can connect, then Hammerstone goes to the top rope and hits a nice dropkick from the corner, then clotheslines Oba over the top rope to the floor. Axe chop to the chest by Oba to stop Hammerstone on the apron, then back in the ring he just hits him with some clubbing blows and a couple elbows, then hits a pump handle throw suplex on Hammerstone which is pretty impressive. European uppercut to the corner, then Femi just gets him down with a rest hold that theyre in for a minute. Hammerstone eventually gets him into a firemans carry that Femi reverses, hits one of his own into a Military style press throw. Boot to Hammerstone is caught and stopped, then Femi misses an elbow, Hammerstone goes for a choke, Femi gets one on him at the same time, Irish whip into the corner that sends Femi into the ring post on a missed shoulder. Chops and forearms from Hammerstone, hits the clothesline on Oba and then a couple belly to belly tosses. He hits a chokeslam on Femi but Femi kicks out at two. Oba reverses a vertical suplex, hits a throwing back body slam, hits his stand up powerbomb and pins Hammerstone for 3. Decent match, wasnt bad at all but not like there was a lot there to fall in love with and it didnt get all that much of a reaction out of the crowd. Nothing remotely to be ashamed of, but nothing more than a decent 5 minute match. They went out there and did a satisfactory job"
[7.0] "Quick match, but this was awesome. Hammerstone finally appearing in WWE was a cool sight to see I remember him in MLW, Oba Femi dominated majority of this match. I really hope they could actually run this back again because Hammerstone & Oba Femi with 10 - 15 minutes given would be a show stealer."
[6.0] "A pretty good match here that made Oba Femi look great! Hammerstone didn't exactly look dominant but that wasn't the intention. Fun physical match."
[6.0] "Big meaty men slappin' meat, you know the thing. It was a really decent sprint between two big men who know how to move between the ropes and hit hard, interesting with the expected dynamic and a lot of good stuff. Nothing outstanding and it's obvious that they'd have a better match between them if they'd been given more time, but it was really cool to see Hammerstone inside an NXT ring, not gonna lie."
