[7.0] "Apart from the stuff involving the bloodline this is a pretty good show. The first half as 2 great matches, and 1 pretty decent one. The 2nd half is quite as good as the first but it's still watchable. By no means a perfect show but it's one of the better smackdowns in 2025, imo."

"1) In my Backlash review I disparaged Jeff Cobb (or should I say JC Mateo (cool name, btw - it sounds less american and more samoan, which is necessary if you don't want to look odd surrounded by men with names like J A C O B F A T U and S O L O S I K O A (btw, Samoan names sound so cool)) for looking small in comparison to Solo Sikoa, let alone to Jacob Fatu. I take my words back. Last night, when I saw him standing on that hideous blue canvas next to Solo he looked pretty normal and deserving of his spot - I guess it was just a weird camera angle last week. Btw, low-key, Solo is a monster on the mic; as someone whose entire personality was built around the fact he didn't speak much, he made one of the craziest jumps in the art of delivering lines I've ever seen. I think it's not a secret to anybody who his main inspiraion is. It was especially evident during his giggle - it was the exact copy of Roman Reigns' laughter. 2) I rarely say it, but this Smackdown was packed with great matches. Usually I watch one, maximum two matches on WWE weekly TV programming, but this night was special: I gave a shot to 3 matches and not a single one of them fell short. I even kinda regret not giving a shot to the 4th one - the main event, because based on what I witnessed in the last 5 minutes of the fight, it was a banger."

"Very good show with even better PPV quality matches (except for the bliss-green-michin match). The whole LA Knight vs bloodline been going on for 1+ years, its time to put and end to it..."

[6.0] "This was an up-and-down episode for me on SmackDown. What I do enjot is the Women's side and tag team side of things weekly on SmackDown what I get tired of is the endless Bloodline titbits because it's so pointless and drags the quality of the show for me I want fresh stories and not the same old stories where they shove Solo Sikoa down our throats and try to make us like him when he doesn't even feel like an natural on TV. SmackDown needs a huge overhaul because the quality of this roster there areas they lack heavily and. That's the star power for the men's side of things; the women are great, they have everything from the Stars to mid-card, some quality tag teams, and stables. I hope change comes soon, and with the addition of Giulia, that brings the SmackDown women's side a lot better. And the worst part of the show was Jeff Cobb looking goofy with a horrid name choice and attire that looks so bland. What are they even doing? He had a few things that were pleasant on SmackDown. Fraxiom is climbing the mountain top, Aleister Black and Hayes had a hoot of a match & the women killed it with the opener and main event, but please stop with this Bloodline madness, it has dragged and been drained since the end of 2024. The story ended at WarGames for me. But a very average episode of SmackDown, but next week's show is looking quite fun."

[7.0] "This week SmackDown managed to deliver two good matches, Fraxiom vs. DIY was amazing [****1/4] and the big surprise of the night was Tiffy vs. Nia [***1/2] had such a good match, the false finishers in this match were incredible and as much as I hate Nia Jax, this time I take my hat off to what was the best performance of her career. The rest of the show is practically unacceptable, including the terrible in-ring debut of JC Mateo (stupid name) AKA Jeff Cobb"

[8.0] "SmackDown hasn't been a very good show at all for the past several months and isn't consistent but this episode held my attention throughout the entire night and I enjoyed the show more. Fraxiom Vs DIY was a great match and setup a tag team title match between Profits Vs Fraxiom next week. Aleister Black Vs Carmelo Hayes was also a very good match and this was way better then there match last week and the crowd was actually more into it. The opening women's match was also pretty decent and I enjoyed the swerve at the end with Chelsea almost winning but Alexa still getting the W. The men's MITB qualifying match was ok and the Jeff Cobb Vs LA Knight match was quite boring and this should have been saved for next week and instead had Drew & Priest in a one on one promo segment. The main event was GREAT and probably the best match Tiffany & Nia has ever had. Overall a very enjoyable SmackDown for the most part."

The extra stuff outside the ring was a little rough, including an absolutely going-nowhere Shinsuke gimmick who is more obsessed with LA Knight than Priest is with McIntyre, who delivered a brief but good promo himself."

"Overall a better show than previous one. Actually best SD of May probably, lot of good matches, promos. Really loved the entire feuds and additions like Giulia & Fraxiom to main roster. Been a NXT fan for a long while so it's cool to watch new stars make appearances here. I pledge my allegiance to Chelsea Green. Mello Don't Miss. Such stars deserve some shine rather than 2 hours of bloodline dude."

[9.0] "Friday's SmackDown had the tough task of dealing with the aftermath of Backlash while also setting up matches for Saturday Night's Main Event and Money in the Bank. It was a lot to manage on top of the regular matches, but they did a solid job making everything come together smoothly. The MITB qualifiers were both solid, and the match between Black and Hayes, along with the tag match, delivered as well. However, if you only catch one thing from this show, make sure it's the main event."

[8.0] "A fun smackdown episode. I liked the Solo/Fatu segment, which accentuated the rift between Sikoa and Fatu. Sikoa would rather congratulate the man who helped Fatu than Fatu is good. Sikoa wants to make his clan a success, but not for its members, but for himself. Helping others to show that he is the strongest. I can't wait to see this rivalry. The first match surprised me. I was expecting a mid match, but not at all. A good little triple threat with some suspense and a decent in-ring finish. I wasn't expecting Alexa Bliss to win. I was expecting Chelsea. Now what does the future hold for Chelsea Green? The second match is very good and shows once again that the smackdown tag team division has been destroying the RAW tag team division for the last 8 months. Very good in ring between four talents. Fraxiom is a pleasure. I really liked the Black/Hayes. This match was better than last week. Carmelo Hayes has more offense against an Aleister who regales me with his in ring. The DQ isn't negative, Hayes wasn't going to lose two matches in a row. McIntyre cut a good promo to make the perfect argument that Priest is the real heel of the story. Priest's video clip before Drew's promo is cool too although I would have preferred him to cut that promo in the ring. I'm looking forward to the cage match despite it taking place in the random night main event. The negative of the evening was the interview with R truth. R truth vs John Cena, are you serious? Capitol Punishment 2011 style. Using comedy wrestling in Cena's heel run sucks. The Sikoa/Uso/Fenix match is fine in terms of in-ring action with Rey Fénix still a good performer but the result is a nasty surprise. We'll see if Sikoa's in-ring is a match for MITB. A Rey or Jimmy deserved this spot. I didn't really like the Knight/JC. Jeff Cobb was slow (despite an interesting agility considering his gabari) and who was doing submissions we haven't seen in 15 years. The second half of the match was better thanks to LA's speed, but the end where Knight lost on a random move was shit. I'm not impressed with JC, I hope JC does better, I'm still optimistic. The ME is very good. Their game was better than February's. Stratton showing some nice resilience against a powerful Nia was good. The refs to the Lyra/Jax and Naomi/Jax matches were great too. Stratton breaking free of the Annihilator was very good. The chair shot is violent. Big win for Tiffy. The road to MITB begins."

[6.0] "This week's Friday Night SmackDown was a decent show. Still, there was nothing significant on it (perhaps, other than Giulia being called up to the main roster, even if it's in an uncelebratory fashion). The in-ring action was okay, for the most part, with the tag team match being the highlight. Solo and Jacob are a good story being written; it'll be interesting to see how it plays out with JC Mateo involved. Also, Legado Del Fantasma's storyline intrigues me. I can't wait to see how it plays out. In a steel cage match, Drew and Damian will go at each other again next week on SNME. It will be a treat if it's remotely at the level of Drew vs. Punk. Conversely, next week's Cena vs. Truth on SNME is a complete joke."

"This show is sooo close to being watchable man. Just take off that last hour, and stop focusing on the Bloodline and you have a decent show. First hour was good, 2nd hour was ass, and the main event was actually good. It certainly didn't help that NONE of the top stars were on this show. Overall a 6/10 show"

[5.0] "Meh. That's about all I can think of for this episode. I'll never like people having matches against each other for consecutive weeks. They usually put another rematch on ppv. Why? Also changing Jeff Cobb's name after it was already spoken live is typical asinine stuff."

[6.0] "For the first time in what feels like a long time, I mostly enjoyed this show. The matches were mostly solid, the promos were fine. Jeff Cobbs debut match was solid. My only real complaint was Rey Fenix's booking. But until he finds a link to Roman in his family tree I shouldn't be surprised."
