[7.0] "Most of the preview tags outside of War Dogs/UE were kinda just... there. But the last two matches were great, very enjoyable show overall."

[7.0] "The undercard (apart the UE vs BC match) was average but the last two matches were awesome. One is the last Korakuen match for Okada and the other is the end of a rivalry that lasted for more than six months; that's enough to "forgive" the rest and then some. ***1/2"

[7.0] "Another comment put it best - this is one of the better "Road to" shows in a while. The opener between ZSJ and Tiger Mask was good fun and showed the men to be far more compatiable than I think anyone expected them to be, United Kingdom and War Dogs keep putting on exciting multi-man matches, Yuya and Tsuji's rivalry keps bubbling away and I am very excited to see the result. The final two matches really put it up there as a decent show though. Okada's last appearance in Korakuen Hall was an emotional one. From his entrance to the match itself to his incredibly emotional post-match promo, it was a match to be remembered and Fujita looked like a million bucks. I was personally a big fan of the main event. These two guys main eventing a card was a big big test in terms of their star power and ability to lead the company going forward and, by all accounts, things are looking positive. It was dampened by interference but still, both men put on a great match and their futures look bright. A very good and important show in shaping the future of New Japan Pro Wrestling. The main event delivered big time too, loved Shotas aggression from the very start, this wasnt some normal wrestling match and Shota was out for blood. HOT interruptions were kept to a minimum which is an automatic positive and this interference was actually well done, and the save from Tama hit too. Big emphatic win for Shota who better beat Okada before he leaves.""

[8.0] "One of the better road to shows in recent memory. Fun opener, UE and War Dogs continue to be exciting asf and looks like their teasing a few different things with Catch 2/2.Yuyas and Tsujis continued rivalry was fun and Doukis upset pin was cool to see. But what really this over the top were the last two matches. Some people were mad at the tag result, personally I would have had TMDK win but the idea that Okada should have been pinned by Fujita is crazy lol, that being said great match and a pretty emotional moment for Okada after.
