[6.0] "After a very solid SmackDown, we return to an average weekly episode of WWE TV. Was there anything bad? Maybe not giving Kaiser a better chance to have a good match with Drew, Cody's pretentious and overcomplicated promo and the contract signing being pretty dull. Other than that, the show had good but not amazing matches. That's the best I can say from this show, it was plain good."
[7.0] "Pretty good show all things considered with a good balance of solid wrestling and segments. One thing I have been really liking about Raw is how the backstage segments are threaded into the main show. Makes each episode feel like fluid instead of a combination of unconnected stories. Opening promo from Judgment Day was standard stuff with KO and Sami interrupting to set up Dom and Zayns match later. Match #1: Lynch v. Stark (***1/4) Zoey is extremely impressive and continues to transition into a star with Stratus. Looking forward to Trish and Lynchs match at SummerSlam. Cody Rhodes could sell a suit and tie to a pig he is that damn engaging. Every promo there is at least one drop that makes me feel connected with him and the story. Match #2: Dirty Dom v. Zayn (***1/4) Super hot crowd for this with two of WWEs biggest stars right now. Also cool to see an NA title match featured on Raw. I really cant tell if Dom intentionally looks uncoordinated in the ring, so Im just gonna assumed it is for the gimmick because it makes the matches a lot more enjoyable. He does do a really good drop kick though. Cheap win for Dom. Judgment Day really are on fire. Match #3: Reed v. Ciampa (***1/2) These boys brought the BEEF. Crowd was a little quiet to start but then really picked up toward the closing stretch. I think these two are both gonna continue shooting up the card. Match #4: Morgan v. Ripley (N/A) The match never happens as Rhea attacks Liv as she is making her entrance. I really do wanna see these two have a singles feud some day. Unfortunately I think this was used to write Liv off because of an injury. Match #5: Crews v. Priest (**) This didnt go very long but man they packed a lot into it and it was actually a really good showing for Crews who has been absent since coming back from NXT. Match #6: McIntyre v. Kaiser (***1/4) Gunther looked like a badass calling out McIntyre last week and Drew seems to be planting a little seed of dissension within Imperium so the feud between these two is building nicely. The match between Drew and Kaiser was also a cracker. Main event segment between Finn and Rollins was great, maybe my favorite thing on the show. Really excited for their SummerSlam match, taking it all back to where this rivalry began at SummerSlam 2016. The contract signing being the main event also makes the World Heavyweight Title feel very important."
[4.0] "A mediocre show. Most of the action was barely entertaining to me, with some matches that feel repetitive at this point. Some of the promos were good, especially the last one, but again, repetitive with the same match for the 2nd PPV in a row."
[7.0] "Not as good as last week's raw but the ring action was amazing for the most part minus 3 matches . Best match was Reed vs Ciampa it was a hard hitting slugfest and I heavily enjoyed it minus Nakamura , Nakamura vs Ciampa should be a banger though. The worst match was Damien vs Apollo , Apollo had some good moves but losing in 3 minutes is a joke , should have at least gaven it 5 , Damian looked good though. Best segment was Ricochet and Logan Paul , both men had a alright promo , but the main highlight was the moment when Ricochet hot a moonsault on him and Paul still recorded it that was funny."
[5.0] "Incredibly mediocre, honestly had to skip around because of how boring and generic some parts were. Was definitely tuned in when GUNTHER was on screen tho."
[7.0] "The first two hours were very good! i enjoyed it alot with good matches and a great Cody Promo, then it went down hill and i got bored. my biggest gripe with Raw currently is that i wish Rhea would wrestle!"
[7.0] "And a solid and legit episode but totaly forgetable, nothing terrible but nothing that stand out from the rest, it was watchable diferent from what an episode like this would be a few years ago, it was a solid 7."
[7.0] "Not a bad episode, but just going through the motions on the road to Summerslam. The set ups were there, and there were decent matches. I get that the Judgement Day are the big act, but where the heck is so much of the roster that a 3 hour show has to keep rotating through such a small handful of people?"
[7.0] "It was a solid episode, not that I want but you've would enjoy this episode, has good promo and marches but I think the done my man Apollo Crews Wrong, He had a bright future."
[7.0] "Pretty alright episode of Raw. Thought Lynch vs Stark was a good match, as was Dom vs Zayn. Love the elevation of the IC title feud. Couldn't give two shits about Cody vs Brock build."
[8.0] "Hard to rate any lower considering the night had no weak points. No match was disappointing and no promo was too underwhelming. It could be argued that Cody's segment was repetitive but that's hardly his fault when he has to carry the feud. Ricochet is also not quite good enough on the mic but was definitely not a let down. The show lacked any outstanding landmark moment, instead delivering consistently impressive and engaging entertainment. Also, shout out to Liv's selling abilities, that was top tier."
[5.0] "A very unremarkable episode of RAW. I didn't think anything was bad, but nothing was very interesting either. The highlight was probably just Judgment Day further establishing themselves as a threat, but I don't think anything this week stood out as 'must see'."
[5.0] "This was a average Raw episode overall. Judgment Day were again the strongest part of Raw. Codys Promos starts to bore me because it's often the same. The Ricochet Logan Paul build up was ok."
[7.0] "I liked this Raw. It was very Judgment Day based but it works, they are a great group and the crowd clearly cares about every member of the stable. The in-ring action was also nice, the opener was a good match, Dominik continues to raise heat with a good performance against Sami showing some good wrestling and old school heel tactics with the interferences, loved Ciampa/Reed very good stuff for a weekly WWE TV show: very hard hits and Nakamura involved in the finish makes me hope for him; Damian Priest squashed Apollo in a match that was great to raise his status and Drew/Kaiser was also very good building up for his Gunther's match at Summerslam. Cody's promo was a little "more of the same" but the contract signing between Finn and Seth was good, I am loving Finn in this role. Good show, not on the level of Smackdown but I am still satisfied from this."
[5.0] "For as smoothly as Fridays Smackdown moved, this show moved at a snails pace. Much of this was due to an overabundance of promos. To be fair, the focus was on Summerslam and setting the stage for the show but it really dragged. The wrestling, while not bad, was not good enough to have significantly helped with the pacing moving so slowly. The first three matches all featured some kind of interference/distraction two of which led to the ending of the match while one of the other two matches was a squash. A lot of the show is beginning to run together and feel the same in terms of talents being involved with each other which doesnt help. In terms of the amount of wrestling, Smackdown offered more in a shorter show than this Raw did. Nothing special at all but not the worst."
[8.0] "All together, a good Raw besides far too many commercials, but apart from that the matches were solid and there were some good buildups heading into Summer Slam on this one."
"Shows under Triple H have been more than good enough. I feel like this will only get even better from now on. JDs presence in every show is actually a pretty good idea."
