[8.0] "Overall good show with a lot of good wrestling. The only serious complaint I had was the poor lighting and crowd mic'ing. Since no Impact show looks/sounds like that, they should take over the production of the next Multiverse show."

[7.0] "The negative aspect of this event is the lack of a solid production support and a flowing interaction from the fans. But the fans' disappointment is sensible due to the unfortunate absence of a few wrestlers as advertised. However, with the talent involved apart from the replacing contests, they gave a rigid showcase of different flavours of wrestling. A couple of feisty starters including the pre-show were followed by a consistent card of bouts where Moose/Cobb, the tag teams & Bailey/Tana stood out as the top three clashes of mine. Had the presentation been better than expected as well as the quality of some matches, this event would have been more memorable. 7.5 out of 5 stars!"

[6.0] "I couldn't tell if it was just a dead crowd or poor mixing of crowd audio - because there were several other issues throughout the night with the sound, lighting, and camera work - but this show felt like a fine enough show which was never going to be more than that largely because of said issues. Maybe it's because there were only a few hundred people there. In any case, the action was by no means bad, it just all felt a little flat and stunted due to the environment. Injuries making some of the matches more predictable didn't help matters, either. A decent crossover but you'd like to think that a card like this (even with the injuries) and a crossover between Impact and NJPW could pull a bigger crowd than this in a better venue."

[9.0] "Despite the injuries from both companies affecting the show, this still turned out to be a Great & Fun show! Tanahashi/Bailey, KUSHIDA/Rush, the 4-Way Impact World Tag Team Titles Match & Moose/Cobb were all really good - great! The opener, the Knockouts 4-Way & KENTA/Suzuki were all good! Very enjoyable show, hope we get a Multiverse United 2 next year!"

[6.0] "This crossover event was affected by injuries to some of the major names from both companies, with both Impact's Josh Alexander and NJPW's Will Ospreay being unable to compete and their matches, against KUSHIDA and Mike Bailey respectively, being turned into lower-stakes exhibition matches against Lio Rush and Hiroshi Tanahashi. It still ended up a solid enough show, with the Tanahashi-Bailey match particularly standing out, as well as good bouts from KENTA vs Suzuki, KUSHIDA vs Rush and the four-way tag. The rest of the show was pretty much all solid enough, but some came off somewhat as card filler, perhaps most notably in the eight-man tag, which featured very random lineups on both sides (with, on both sides, faces and heels being teamed with each other, without any possible conflict arising). A decent enough show but not the home run both companies were probably hoping for."

[7.0] "The main event of the wrestling show was very good, and it was one of the favorites of the night alongside Kushida vs. Lio Rush. Tanahashi targeted Bailey's knee, and it played a key role in the story. Although several wrestlers had to withdraw due to injuries, the event was still enjoyable. However, the production value was not up to par, with subpar lighting detracting from the show's overall quality. Despite this, it is still worth considering watching again."

[6.0] "This show was alright. The only truly great match was Tanahashi vs Speedball and the rest of the matches were just pretty good. What would've really helped the show is a crowd that didn't suck. I don't know what it is about Impact Wrestling, but everywhere they go they have a dead crowd."

[7.0] "The audio mixing was the worst issue as the technical issues didn't effect much. This was a much needed show for Impact after having their top 2 champions injured before a run of 3 PPVs in a month. There was only 1 bad match on this card (Moose/Cobb) and a bunch of really good matches. Well worth your time to check this out. It did factor into weekly Impact stories as well so it didn't seem like a one-off. Would've prefered only 2 commentators."

[9.0] "The technical issues and injuries did not stop this show from being a hit. A lot of the NJPW Strong guys got a big chance to shine and IMPACT stars had some of the biggest matches of their lives, especially Mike Bailey, the guy doesn't sleep. My match of the night was was that crazy 4 way tag really cementing Chris Bey and Ace Austin as IMPACT Wrestling top tag team."

It looked like dark mode all night! If you like Impact and NJPW I would certainly watch this card if you haven't yet. Just do not expect to be totally blown away."

[5.0] "Blame it on the crowd, or blame it on the production, but this was a piss poor showcase for either collaborative force. Not even getting started on the lack of JAPANESE wrestlers on a New JAPAN collaboration show, most of the matches here felt like house show efforts. Lio vs KUSH was probably the best worked match on the show, but what is it worth when the reaction it gets is crickets? Main event had the best reaction, but was still a disappointing encounter considering the names."
