[8.0] "This show was in hot water for not selling out naturally. The entire tour felt short after the end of kobashi's legendary reign and the choice of saito as Rikio's first challenger is tk be blamed, saito isn't credible yet to main event the budokan, But it sold out in the budokan due to a mystery Noah wanted to pull off, as it's part of their road to Tokyo dome series. Talking about the matches, some of them were fine(Suzuki, marufuji vs misawa, kotaro), some of them had potential(like suwa vs kenta), and some of them were great(Tenryu, Jun vs Go, kobashi) and the main event was flat. But talking about the mystery that made this show the hottest of the year. First as rumors came true, Toshiaki Kawada entered the Noah ring for the very first time. And calls out misawa and laid a challenge for the tokyo dome show, this is still one of the biggest moment of kobashi. And second was a announcement board also for the tokyo dome, where billed as a special single match with no time limit, Kenta Kobashi would face.... The Towering Kensuke Sasaki and the budokan crowd went insane seeing Kenta kobashi vs Kensuke Sasaki announced for the tokyo dome. If you remove this two, this show would have been a catastrophic failure."

[8.0] "The first Budokan after Kobashi's historic reign and it opens with a fast-paced, decent tag of two suckies (Ino & Izu) and two medicores (Kawa & Hashi. ) Poor RM lost his hair (continuing his humbling '05, ) & the next tag via a nasty Sugs Olympic Slam, to Suzuki's 'Tiger' masked gimmick to open the tour at the Differ... it's bittersweet to see Bison warmly pat Ricky on the head. Heatless match as Stein should be with the heels and Honda w/Bison & RM. When in-ring together Ogawa and M Mod had keen chemistry in the next bout that too was heatless. What is the origin of DM's sounds before his landing headbutts? The not-over Scorp's always been too loose of a worker for me but he executes a fine finish. Holy Shit... it's Kawada and he just kiss-assed and challenged Misawa. Early intermission. Morishima's got no more hair either... did he lose it in his Double KO match with Yone a few nights back? After a dull opening both Y & M got awfully stiff with their opposition that was soon met by Taue & Sano in a good tag that ended after Y took a bunch of cslams/pbombs from T. KENTA thinks intro's and covering one's head when a large metal box is thrown at you are for pussies; Sugs and Kane join him for the beatdown. K Suzuki is endlessly worked over... he hit a lovely super shiranui when NM was prone on M's (who did little in the match) shoulders, but falls victim to the same regularly executed move that ends the match too soon w/out a successive big move end-stretch. Event - 7. 5"
