Danach wird es Zeit, dass William Regal an der Seite Samoa Joes mal ein paar Ansagen an Gargano und Kross macht. Ein Titelmatch in der Folgewoche ist die Konsequenz, wobei Kross und Samoa Joe wohl die Langzeitentwicklung sein werden. Grimes und LA Knight machen richtig Stimmung, wobei man nun auf die kommenden Comedysegmente mit Grimes als Butler gespannt sein darf. Danach stellt man uns noch einmal die Teilnehmer des Breakout-Turnieres vor, wobei einige schon fehlen, weil sie bereits eliminiert wurden, 205 lässt grüßen. Hinter den Einspielern mit der sich aufladenden Batterie steckt nichts anderes als das Comeback von Tegan Nox, welche durch diese Ablenkung prompt dafür sorgt, dass die Mädels von The Way ihre Tag-Team Gürtel verlieren. Ach übrigens, in der Werbepause schleppt Dexter Lumis seine Indi Hartwell ab. Die Hip Hop Einlage von Hit Row sollte man sich schenken, das nervt hart ab. Wenn man das aber durchhält, wird man mit der zweiten Ausgabe von Cole gegen O'Reilly entschädigt, welche erneut ein ziemlich gutes Match darstellt. Gemessen am üblichen TV-Standard ist das hier am Ende eine gute Show, wobei einige Matches durchaus PPV-Qualität aufweisen. |

MOTN was the main event clearly and evidently while the worst match was the women's tag match however it was still a good enough match that one would end up liking if viewed with a more open mind . Knight/Grimes was very good and surely better than I expected . Knight's character work as heel makes up for what he lacks in the ring and Grimes charisma is amazingly captivating . The presentation of the set for the Bash was also wonderful and the card for next week looks interesting as well. Tegan's return was the main highlight of the show . Toni cut a good promo and the Kross/Gargano segment was awesome and I will not disagree with my boy Gargano , Kross cannot lace his wife's boots. While, I did not like the Way loosing tag titles this early , a takeover match involving Tegan and Candice should be very exciting and quality stuff whenever that may be. I liked the cypher celebration too and the breakout tournament also has me exhilarated as I'm keen as to what future stars will this tournament yield. A 9 it is , one hell of a bash and that too a GREAT AMERICAN BASH. |

The Kross/Gargano feud has been a little weird but I'm sure they'll at least have a good match next week. Grimes and Knight had another good match. Women's tag title match was a fine match although a bit disappointing for a number of reasons. Happy for Zoey who has worked hard since debuting. The Hit Row Cypher I felt went a little long but it was a nice segment to celebrate Isaiah's win. Cole/Kyle had a strong match to close out the show, one of the stronger NXT TV matches of the year to this point. 8. 5 |

Ein richtig guter Styles Clash, in welchem Thatcher und Ciampa mit ihrer technischen Heelarbeit die Dominanz übernehmen, bevor MSK sich in typischer dynamischer Underdog Manier zurückkämpfen und schließlich gewinnen. Knight gegen Grimes war dann ein Sports Entertainment Match - und als solches wirklich mehr als anständig. Das Tag Title Match war eine anständige Schlusserzählung der Story rundum Io und Zoey, bevor es im ME dann ein typisches ME Style NXT Match gab, was mich gegen Ende echt mitnahm und insgesamt gut war. Abseits davon gab es noch das Segment mit Gargano und Kross, welches mir auch aufgrund von Joe wirklich gut gefiel. Ebenfalls ein toller Moment war die Rückkehr von Tegan Nox. Insgesamt war das eine richtig gute Show, welche in meinen Augen 8 Punkte verdient. |

Die ersten 3 Matches wirken etwas spotty, da die Dominanz der Heels jeweils durch die Werbung rausgeschnitten wurden, die Matches waren aber allesamt ganz nett und vor allem der Opener ist ein ziemlicher Sprint. Main Event hat mir auch gefallen, da er auch nicht übermäßig lang ist. Insgesamt eine ordentliche Ausgabe. |

Ein nicht eindeutiger Sieg heißt so viel wie Rematch demnächst. Eine kleine Konfrontation zwischen Gargano und Kross für ihr Titelmatch nächste Woche. Gargano spielt den Face während Kross wie gewohnt den Heel spielt und versucht handgreiflich zu werden. Samoa Joe hält ihn davon ab und er wird der Special Referee werden. Grimes vs LA Knight war in Ordnung. Unsaubere Taktiken wirken. So wird Grimes der Butler von LA Knight. Die Women waren in Ordnung. Zoey belohnt sich seit ihrer Ankunft mit stets starken Leistungen mit dem Titelgewinn. Die Teaser des aufladenden Akkus waren dafür da um die Rückkehr für Tegan Nox zu hypen. Diese legt sich mit Candice an. Lumis ist auch da und trägt Indi nach dem Match weg. Eine Rapeinlage von Hit Row kann man so stehen lassen. Man muss kein Fan davon sein aber dafür wird ihr Gimmick gut präsentiert. Der Main-Event war sehr gut. Nicht so stark wie ihr Match bei NXT Takeover Stand & Deliver aber wieder wird eine starke Schlacht geboten. Rundum eine starke Vorstellung. |

Maybe the match that least interested me, I would have preferred Candice & Indi retained the titles but, well, happy for Tegan returning and happy for Io, still something is missing in Stark. Liked a lot the main event, but less than their unsanctioned match. Nevertheless, very good sequences and moments, maybe the match was a little slowed at times, it seemed more like a submission match, maybe next one. |

Gargano v Kross is confirmed for next week with Samoa Joe as guest referee, leading me to believe they might take the title off Kross sooner rather than later. The womens tag was good as well, with Tegan Nox? s return stealing the show even though it was slightly ruined by her match on Main Event. O? Reilly vs Cole was an awesome match and a fantastic way to close the show. |

The opener was really good, and I'm happy MSK went over, but them continuing to get booed should probably be a sign that they need to either turn heel, or have some kind of character. The face to face was fun, mainly because it's funny to see Kross get crushed on the mic by Gargano and outshined by Joe. Kross needs to drop the belt next week and move up. He is not built for NXT and it shows. Grimes/Knight was a good match, honestly I enjoyed it more than their ladder match. Grimes losing is definitely the right call, as missing out on all of the upcoming butler vignettes would have been a travesty. The women's tag match was solid, and Tegan Nox returning was predictable, but what was surprising was the title change. These titles are already being hot potato'd around and it hasn't been booked that well. Shirai and Sarray becoming champs would have been cool, but Stark is too green to be holding a title this early, and her and Shirai are the definition of a thrown-together team. Not a bad match, but the title change was questionable. Main event was really good. Exciting near falls and not knowing who was going to win made it more enjoyable. Kyle kicking out of the last shot was unnecessary though, and the whole portion after that was not necessary. Good match though, to cap off an overall good show. |
